After Papa's friends had eye opening experience in Genting Highland Casino, we started our journey back.
Nope..they did not gamble. . They went in and "look see". Saw saw some happy face and also one crying.
They didn't have time to visit the theme park coz it was quite late. Wanted to get back to town before traffic jam.
Now there are very nice building there and vegetarian restaurant too.
Oh my kucing! it's cold here.........
So what do we do here?
Hah? Snap photo ah? Make cute face? This one cute enough or not?
Okay....let's ascend the something sky stairs....
Errr...Mamarazzi's "sick cat" face...started to fever coz kena rain.
Ommmm.....
Which way now.....behind me seems to be many people....wondering what are they reading...maybe have map there.
Again kena Mamarazzi "catch" to pose for photo.
Along the wall at the hillside there were many statues. Saw it said something Lohan. Maybe 18 Lohan? Didn't count coz it started drizzling ....walk fast fast trying to see as much as possible before the rain come pour down hard.
Journey to Enlightenment?
Up the hill seems to have various "caves" that depicting various Hell Chamber. It started with the registration office.
Can read? Too blur or not ? Battery in the camera kaput-ed. Snapped using phone.
According to the board "Qin Guang Wang of First Hell Chamber manages the book of birth and death of human realm, their longevity or a premature death. He centrally controls the penalties of human being's while in the hell realm. After death, a good person will be sent for rebirth to Heavenly Realm or Western Pureland of Great Bliss, while a person who had done equally virtuous and evil deed will be sent to the tenth Hell Chamber for rebirth to human realm. Those who had seriously committed unwholesome actions would be taken to the right chamber, to review his or her wrong doing and the penalties for that action."
Quite interesting...We only managed up to the 5th Chamber of Hell when the rain start pouring down hard. maybe next time can go see. Hmm...not advisable for those who are easily scared coz some figures were a bit scary.
Come on...let's run.........raining hard liao.
Tak aci ni.....rain like wanna stop already pulak....errr.....next time bar continue the journey up the caves la.
Mamarazzi said if she is not mistaken...behind of me are the statues of 8 Immortals who are famous for the story of 8 Immortals Crossing the Sea.
Adui...hungry liao leh.... Let's go cari makan...
Been here a few times. I like the scenery and the cool weather there.
ReplyDeletewish have more time there
DeleteYour best pictures are the ones in front of the steps. Not making faces, just your beautiful natural smile. You and your mama are a very good picture with the temple behind you. Does she get sick when it rains? Allergies or something?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginny. Caught rain hence slightly feverish
DeleteYou can see he is having fun. Like the picture at the stairs.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip

ReplyDeleteold already lor. banyak "moe peang"
Deletehaha, purposely went all uphill to see the casino only ah?? maybe Genting casino is really very famous for them?? Uncle SK also don't gamble, if he went into the casino, then probably just look see look see only, if friends sit down to gamble, he will stand behind to give "moral support".. the most also spend like RM10 to play the slot machines only..
ReplyDeleteYea its famous for them la. As for the scenery..they already have their lake toba
Deleteaiyoh, Chin Swee Temple.. Uncle SK also have not been there for ages lor, longer than Mamarazzi's one decade probably two decades already.. and did you know those who gamble do not like to go to Chin Swee Temple?? it's all because of the name.. Chin Swee in Chinese means "clearing the water" which would mean something like "empty all your money", so that would be really suey for the gambles lah~~ :D
ReplyDeleteYou lagi terror ah....oh like that ka? didnt really notice that coz we also never gamble type
Deletewah, really a lot of changes leh.. they have extended the place and also built a lot of new stuffs, and also looks very much more commercial lah.. i wonder if need to pay to see all those ah?? or actually "subsidized" by the casino because they help to "chin swee" the gambles?? muahahaha~~
ReplyDeleteno need to pay gua coz when we went no need payment wor. Maybe just need to donate joss-stick and oil money kot?
Deletelots of interesting things to see leh.. especially the Hell Chambers!! i bet Uncle Tan would be most excited to go there and take a look, errr his style not just take a look, but he will study and examine and scrutinize everything.. and Small Kucing so cute lah, doing all the different poses there (though many "forced" by Mamarazzi) and can see he really enjoyed the place very much woh~~
ReplyDeletemuhahaha ya lor. Uncle Tan would like to see , I think
DeleteLOL! I've passed by this temple countless times when I was still living in KL, but we never stopped. Going for yum cha in Genting Highlands was a frequent thing XD .. Seems like an interesting temple.
ReplyDeleteYum Cha in Genting...wah lau eh....so "high" leh LOL :)
DeleteThere's a time a blogger fren came SG, same same, no gamble, but go the casino at Sentosa walk one round, look see, look see...
ReplyDeleteBut i no go in as Singaporean need to pay $100 to go in casino...
Just wanna "look see" ...at least when people ask, can say have been into casino before ya
Deletewhat???? why? have to pay $100? Government effort to curb gambling?
DeleteAnd the $100 only 24 hours.... Should be...
