Kedai Makanan Mun Wah Hokkien Mee, Kuala Lumpur(revisited)

So far we have "tapau" Hokkien mee from Mun Wah but never really sit down and eaten there before. Mainly due to parking and the restaurant are always full. Hard to get a table.

This round we are lucky . Managed to get a parking spot though night time seems to be "man" by non-authorised person.

Though many people, service was fast. Hokkien Mee portion for two person. Taste....was real good for me. I can;t get enough of it. They even put in liver and intestine which is hard to come by in any hokkien mee nowadays.

Fried Bihun portion for one person. Loaded with crunchy lards.

The sambal...hmm...okay la...For Mamarazzi she still like the sambal from the Bittergourd hokkien mee place.

Here is the address should you be down town today and wishes to have delicious Hokkien Mee, No 55, Jalan Maharajalela, 50150 Kuala Lumpur.  03-2144-7404

  5. Looking yummy, especially the Bihun!! So good that you finally got in. So people park in their lot who are not eating there? Here, businesses have signs up saying if you park and are not a customer, you can get towed.

  7. Uncle SK used to go there when he was sent by his ex-ex-ex-company to work in the nearby MAA (now Zurich).. the Hokkien Mee there is not cooked upon individual order but by batch.. so please do not be pissed off if you have waited for long and then your Hokkien Mee is served at the same time as other tables who came later.. it depends in your timing, hehe!! :p

  23. Whenever I ate at the famous Uptown shop, I must order one small plate of fried lard just for myself alone!!!! Serious!

Anyway my wife no longer protest that I ate the fried lard when a doctor confirmed her reading that the lard helps to prevent knees wearing out. Yum! Yum! Babi!
