Been eating a lot in the past month. Two weeks ago went to Kitchen Art Brasserie at Empire Hotel Subang for the buffet. Bought voucher from a discount company. Sort of a birthday cum Christmas cum New Year celebration with a friend.

The place not that big. Kinda Cozy. They had a great outdoor view but Mamarazzi was worried if I run outside. ....later become "superboy" cham liao.

Was looking forward to the buffet lunch so I skipped breakfast. Guess what is the first thing I zoomed in when I arrived at the buffet? Nope....not noodle. Surprise surprise...it was rice. Change of makan habit again.

Next ...dessert......quite a lot of sweet cakes and stuffs like that. Siapa cepat, dia dapat (The ones fastest, got it).
Mamarazzi was slow with her food. Thought eat these sweet dessert later la. Mana tau when she went to look for some around 2pm, all these cute cakes gone already. Only puddings and some "Kuih" were left. Waited but tarak replenish.
Papa said maybe they stopped replenishing after 2pm plus so that the food would not be wasted. No worries leh. If really want, can ask from them. But Mamarazzi paiseh to ask la.

I enjoyed taking bits of everything. Tu lah....I offered Mamarazzi some of mine earlier, she "jual mahal", didn't want. Now habis liao. But okay lah.....she spotted something else.

Yup....dunno where she found this. Banana Splits.....I also want la.Cari Cari cannot find. Asked her....oh .D.I.Y rupanya. They have ice cream there and they also have banana as fruits for the guests. Hence Mamarazzi just took a banana, some ice cream and made it into Banana Splits loh
Selection of food wise, Mamarazzi said okay la. Not too much and not too little. Taste wise quite good.
Only grouse was that they don't serve Coffee for the buffet. Asked the waiter. Said only have Teh Tarik(Pulled tea) and chrysanthemum drink.
Eat so much...no coffee...sleepy leh... Tummy full liao...best go home and sleep. hehehehe
Wah go hotel makan buffet wor, so nice la.. Me? Long time no go hotel eat buffet jor lor.. With two kids how to eat peacefully? I will attack the roast lamb roast beef and deli meats and skip the fruits + salad, hehe..

DeleteBasically the food was ok but like you said, no coffee and for the price we paid, nothing to shout about. Also, they were so in refilling the desserts - only empty trays and plates after some time.

Deleteaiyoh wasted lah Mamarazzi didn't have the chance for those nice cakes and kuihs.. because she was slow and lagi "jual mahal" hahaha!! but she was so clever leh, took the ice creams and bananas and DIY her own banana split!! sure not only Small Kucing, but people on other tables who saw, wondered where she got it and wandered around to no avail.. hihihihi ^^
