Unexpected Prizes

A good beginning of the year for me. After a hiatus of two weeks, Mamarazzi turned on the PC and saw a surprise waiting for us.

Unexpectedly, we were one of the top 3 commenter in Diana Diane Teo's Travel & Living Journal of DT and she is giving a prize to us. Oh wow! what a surprise.

It's not just any prize. The prize is very special. Why? coz it's souvenirs that she brought back from all her travel.

See this lovely Tote Bag. It's from Bali, Indonesia.

Included also a hand painted bookmark from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Just nice for Mamarazzi.

Small cute elephant pouch from Phuket, Thailand, Fridge Magnet from Hong Kong and a Key chain from Bali Indonesia.

And look at this! A luggage tag and a set of Angry Bird stationery from Bangkok Thailand for me!

Ahem ahem...got a "love letter" for ~~Mamarazzi~~ and ME! Wow...she sure have very nice hand writing. I have to hide this "love letter" else Mamarazzi sure nag me to improve my hand writing.

The second surprise is from SK blog. ~~Mamarazzi~~ We were one of the top 10 Commenter in SK blog for year 2012. Unexpected lor since ~~Mamarazzi~~ we only started ~~spamming~~ commenting there rigorously mid 2012.

What's the prize? Well...it's a personalised CD plus some "surprise" bonus tracks. Very thoughtful prize leh. From recording to the CD up to the envelope are all handmade. Don't believe ah? Head over to this 14.01.2013 | 心意手作 post and see for yourself.

I think if possible, this SK would even hand deliver to each commenter personally leh. Since he is unable to do that, the 3K6PGGHHBC have been drowning in his enquiries whether we received our prize yet. Okay la...Mamarazzi exaggerated "a bit" la but we sure know he won't rest till everyone received their prize and that they are satisfied with their prize.

Ahem....Currently our prize are ~~being held ransom~~ under the safe keeping of the Pirate Queen . One of these days, must really go and collect the prize before Pirate Queen starts to charge us interest. *LOL*

Once again thank you very much to Diana and SK for the prizes.

Hmmm....wondering what next few months will bring....maybe if ~~Mamarazzi~~ we more "cheong Hei"(Long winded) , we might win one more luxurious stay at hotel/resort like Casa Del Rio, Melaka again? .*wishful thinking*

To Infinity and Umbai!

After exploring the room, of course ler time to go To Infinity and ...swimming!

Yup...Casa Del Rio Melaka have a swimming pool called the Infinity Pool.

Why Infinity Pool?Well....errr....no need to explain gua. Only kids pool have boundary. The adult side seems to stretch to infinity.

Great view of the river.

Can see Menara Taming Sari and the big big ship from the pool.

Great pool side service too. Complimentary drinks.

Evening time.....time to hunt for fish...oppss...food.

Growing very "tall" liao.....gonna need more than 3 seats if I were to sleep comfortably...

Last round we went to Umbai too but at another part. This round we went to Perkampungan Ikan Bakar Terapung , Umbai, Melaka

Sleeeppy...why so fast arrived geh....I haven;t have enough of my beauty sleep yet leh.

Stir fried kangkung RM6. A bit salty but just nice if eat with rice.

Fried Sotong(Squid). Based on seasonal price. This plate costed us RM12.06. Yummy.

Papa had Kerang(Clam?)...Alamak..portion so big though asked for small portion. Big, sweet and fresh. RM8

Mamarazzi actually wanted Kepah(mussel?) but ter-ordered Lala( smaller type of Mussel). This one was RM12.

She did not enjoy it much coz some of the Lala still have a bit of sand in it. Guess, this proves the Lala are fresh coz if the Lala have been in the water long time, the sands would have been washed out already.

I also want a Kerang la.

Eh....why nothing inside ?

See...empty...naughty Papa...ate the kerang already and gave me empty shell. But I really enjoyed playing with the shell la.

Mamarazzi wanted Ikan Bakar(Grilled Frish). This was the tiniest fish...but still very big hor? Ikan Jenak based on seasonal price. This one was 800gm , cost us RM28. Fresh.

Wah...the sauce for the fish was super-duper spicy. Yumm Yumm according to her.

My "relatives" must have smelled the nice fragrant of the seafood. They came to "tumpang makan".

Over ordered again....

While waiting for Papa and Mamarazzi finish makan, I played with the shells. My new "lego" .

Thank You to The Santa(s) and Santarina(s)

December is my favourite month, I think coz Santa and Santarinas were in the prowl. I was "shower" with so many gifts.

First "Thank You" goes to Wenn of http://wenn-experiences.blogspot.com/.

She went to Legoland with her family and brought back "Captain Hook" for me. Very thoughtful of her. On holiday also remember to bring back gifts for friends.

Next "Thank You" goes to Auntie Mandy.

Not only she be became "Pos Mistress" but also delivery lady that comes with these cakes. Hmmm ...How she knows Vanilla is my favourite flavor ah?

Not forgetting a big "Thank You" to Uncle Arthur and Auntie Shereen for these delightful gifts, all the way from New Zealand.

And another two "Thank You" to Mommy Ling and Auntie Claire. Yum yum.....and AUntie Claire...and extra "Thank You"for 'you know what' okay ...kekeke

And got a "BBW" Jie Jie at MV gave me this Star Candy. Hmmm.....if Uncle SP was there she he would love to met the "BBW" jie Jie

Also got this goodies bag from the Santarina at the Subang Jaya Book Exchange Programme Christmas Party.

A big "Thank You" to Auntie S for the generous Steamboat meal. Mmmm...delicious. What I enjoyed the most is that I got a pot for myself to cook my steamboat with.
