A Surprising Weekend - Zootopia & Buffet at Sunway Resort & SPA Hotel

Papa and Mamarazzi is acting very weird this weekend. Why they catering to my every wish this weekend ah? 

For example, last Friday. They came and fetch me from school . Asked we wanna eat what. I said I wanna eat "Hor Mee". They were puzzled what is "Hor Mee". Finally found out it's actually Wat Tan Hor Noodle. 

Okay...drove to the new "Ten Years" Restaurant at Evolve Ara Damansara. Too bad they don't have "Wat Tan Hor". Instead we went to the Food Court at the 2nd floor. Also tarak Wat Tan Hor. Okay la...I end uo eating Chicken Rice la. Hey, surprisingly the food at this Food Court was quite good. Service with a smile by the staff at the Vietnam Food counter. 

Okay...I thought that was the end of it la. Next day(Saturday) went to school for my usual activities. They came an fetched me after that and brought along a set of clothing and a pair of new shoes. 

I asked them going where but they didn't tell me. We end up at MBO Cinema. Only then did I know  we were going to watch Zootopia. I ran around with my new shoes looking for information about that show. Wow ! looks exciting show leh. 

The show sure did not disappoint. Laugh die me when they were at the DMV and encountered the Sloth. Yes, we recommend this show for family with kids. 

That evening again I was looking for "Hor Mee" and Papa drove to Damansara Utama and we had "Wat Tan Hor" *finally*

On the way home, they told me that today we are going for Buffet. Yipeeeeeeee!! I love buffet. Supposed to be join by another friend but she can't make it at the very last moment. Family emergency.

Buffet was on a promotional price of RM68nett for adult. Mamarazzi was surprised that for that price, the food was good leh. There were Chinese , Malay, Indian, western and Japanese food served. Hey! They even serve Kopi and tea ...unlike one buffet in Subang Jaya that did not have coffee nor tea.

 Mamarazzi had a shock when she saw the Chinese Buffet section. Crazy ka? Seafood porridge and there were whole pieces of crabs, scallop, oysters , prawns and etc in it. Not one of those shredded crab meat or crab stick.

She also loved the double boiled soup. Had two bowls of that.

Frankly speaking, usually she did not have high hopes on the dim sum served at buffet in hotel but this round she was really impressed. Though it's halal siew mai, it tasted good . They even have the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun.

There were many varieties of food there too...like keoy teow... fried something something... roasted chicken ...but she did not take those as it's quite common and filling. Instead she look for something that is nit usually served in hotel buffet.

 Like the Curry Fish Head. She took just a little bit as she have yet to recover from sore throat. Tasted good with bread. She wish she could have had more but but but....sore throat leh

Aiyo...the rojak pasembur was very tempting too but too bad it's too spicy...at least spicy to her coz she was having sore throat la....

Loads of other stuffs like curries ...fried fritters... mutton...

Over heard the next table mentioned that the nasi lemak was delicious. Again she did not take as it was too filling.

 Me and Mamarazzi had sirloin steak from the western spread. I took some pizza too. There were various types of bread. The mushroom, wedges, onion rings taste delicious.

Instead, Mamarazzi become "kambing" and had a lot of salad. Quite a wide variety of salad. 

For me ...I hang around the dessert counter. There was a Chocolate Fondue there. Some cakes and one ice cream with all sorts of sprinkles. 

Hey! They even have a cotton candy machines and the nice lady behind the counter made me a beautiful cotton candy flower.

 There were Ice Cream Potong too.... Grabbed one for Papa. 

 Mamarazzi had a few bowls of this cooling Longan drink. Hopefully the throat will be better soon.

Hmm....this buffet certainly worth going lo. Too bad too day was the last day of the offer. Hopefully they will have such offer again soon

Hmm...okay a  bit of constructive criticism .... would appreciate that the Management to pout a few sofa or seats outside the restaurant. We arrived half an hour early. Although we have a Reservation, but we were not seated as they were preparing the tables and food. We were told to wait outside. If customers were to wait outside, we certainly appreciate the management would extend the courtesy to provide some sofa or chair. Hey, we are still young but what about the fold folks. 

When it was 12pm, a long queue was formed and a lady presumed to be from the Management were taking photos/video of the long queue. Maybe for marketing purposes but Mamarazzi hope that her photos/video will show the Management the need of providing some seat outside the restaurant for the customers to wait. Thank you.  

Tweety Bird and Big Breakfast at Casa Del Rio, Melaka

 

Lalala~ endless "swimming".  This round, I remembered to bring down my "tweety bird" float from the car.

Very early in the morning Mamarazzi woke me up said "last call" for "swimming".

Of course ler I jump out from the bed immediately changed to my swimming pants.

Brrrrrrr....super duper cold.......

 

a cold "birdie" in the water. Hmm...I wondered if it would keep me warm.

 

Got the pool to myself again

Bored playing at the "kids" pool. Explore the other side of "Infinity".

This part also have a kiddie pool but no divider to the adult pool.  Very near to the bar.

Guess the adult would enjoy swimming up to the bar at night for a drink gua.

Wow...this side is nicer. Can see the Courtyard and the river going to the sea.

Pretty soon, Mamarazzi said enough liao. Time to go makan. Yup...went to makan BIG Breakfast downstairs.

 Quite a variety of choices to choose from but Mamarazzi dare not walk around snapping photos of food there. Later bikin malu pulak.

Papa ordered Big Breakfast from the Menu.

Aiyo...Me ah...full full liao lor. Cannot masuk anymore.

So Mamarazzi took some cornflakes, ko-ko crunch, honey stars and etc for me to munch.

Turned on my Jedi mode coz don't wanna see Papa coz kena scolding from Papa. I accidentally knock over my glass of fresh orange juice...

Yup...did I say fresh orange juice? Yes I did and they really used fresh orange to juice it. Not pour from those prepacked containers. They have freshly juice Tomato juice, honeydew and watermelon juice too.

Mamarazzi got a glass of milk for me to drink but it turned out to be Soya Milk.Someone put it at the wrong label. Oppsie.


Mmm....nice nice breakfast...

Incomplete-d?

 

Adei...kiddie Year 5 a lot of homework every day leh. 

Not bad la the homework...if the teacher gives proper instruction. 

 

But if incomplete instruction really gets me stumped leh..what am I supposed to fill in the brackets? I asked Mamarazzi, she also doesn't know .

 

hence got "incompleted" homework lor....hmmmm...is there such word as "INCOMPLETED"? well...there must be gua else Cikgu wouldn't write it down in my exercise book. I know la...Mamarazzi always have grammar and typo error in this blog but surely Cikgu cannot be wrong gua?

SIgh....what missing numbers leh? Can call police to report the numbers missing ka? Or maybe like someone suggested that the Cikgu is kaki number...buy RM2 (Small) RM9 (Big)?

 

The other day after I finished my homework, I want Mamarazzi to check them for me.

I asked Mamarazzi whether I can "THROW" the book to her. She said "NO! not supposed to throw books".

Funny...but why my Maths Cikgu throw books to us  when she wanna return the books to us geh? Ish...these adults really funny.. one say cannot throw books but another throwing books...bikin tak serupa cakap.

Dinner at Restaurant Kim Heong, Seri Petaling

Another basi post. Went to have a big makan at Restaurant Kim Heong Sri Petaling coz Papa said the chairs there are comfortable.

Everyone's favourite, "Four Heavenly Kings". Unfortunately no Petai....

Deep Fried Pork Ribs. Rather Yummy

Green vegetable Taufu. Delicious. According to the man there, this is their "Chiew pai" dish.

So many dishes liao and it's still coming.

Yum Basket...Hmmmm duno why the guy too scissors and cut the basket . Taste good.

Salted Eggs prawns. Mamarazzi is still wondering how they make the "pink " flower. Is it radish with red food dye? It was beautiful

The complimentary dessert.....errr...this round the honey not given in the mini "teapot" but in ketchup container....LOL.

Overall was a satisfying meal and thank you very much to Uncle Patrick and Auntie Florence for the treat.

Restaurant Sup Lembu Tangkak(Tangkak Beef Noodle) , Taman Maluri Cheras

 I want 100Plus....why don;t have 100Plus(Mamarazzi bluffed me say don't have 100Plus)

Instead, she ordered Ribena for me. We were waiting for Kor Kor Jon's Mommy to go to the BBWBS Preview together.

Since the meeting place is in Cheras, we went to try out the Tangkak Beef Noodle there. Previously we had it in Malacca before and we loved it very much.

 Papa had Mee Laksa Beef Noodle. Finished this bowl and he ordered one more bowl which was dried version.

 Me...of course la Keoy Teow Beef noodle..without the beef . I didn't eat much coz was too excited. Waiting for my Shell Lego car toy.

Kor Kor Jon;s Mommy had helped me buy the whole set from her house. The petrol station at their place allowed customer buying whole set of the Lego Cars and Figurines with a single receipt.

 Mamarazzi's bowl of bihun beef noodle. She did not eat much too. Either from the excitement of BBWBS Preview or maybe she just don't like the bihun. It did not taste like the ones she had in Malacca. This bihun had a strong smell and the soup was not "umph" enough.

Well, I guess different people different taste. Just look at Papa. He had two bowls leh.

Yay! My SHell Lego cars are here. Papa said can hang onto my ears liao. Now I can play with my lego Cars while Mamarazzi goes shopping!

Dragon Gate Dim Sum Kota Damansara.

School holiday nothing much to do, Mamarazzi let me "play" with her computer. Then I click click here and click click there found these photos. 

Where is this place, I asked. Why I never saw before geh?

Hmm.....rupa-rupa, Papa and Mamarazzi curi-curi go eat Dim Sum at Dragon Gate Restaurant, Kota Damansara without me. They went when I was in class.

 

 See they ate so many things. 

 Got fish balls and got "wan tan".

 See the Pau "smile" so big.

 and the Har Kow so round and big.

 Some more got this "oink oink" leh. Sure Uncle Arthur like this.

 And Auntie Claire might love these Yam and sweet potatoes balls

I know this one sure to be ordered by Papa coz he like Carrot cake.

 But alamak....why the HK CCF got flooded one geh.

Despite all the lovely photos, Mamarazzi and Papa said they still like the old place they went to in Sg Buloh New Village. Am sure the dim sum here taste great but guess, old habits is hard to change.  Once they set their mind, it's hard to change.

Even their famous Superior Soup Dumpling did not attract Mamarazzi. Haiz...these two ah....don't know how to appreciate good stuffs lah. Next time bring me there la. Then I will tell you it's good or not.
