Uncle Ng Restaurant, Kuala Trengganu

Hmmm...Mamarazzi don't know why many people when think of Trengganu ..will think that over there mostly have Malay food.

There are quite a large Chinese community there too. Recently, many Chinese family restaurant had sprouted around the town.

When we were there, my Kaw Kaw's family lead us to this Uncle Ng's Restaurant.  This restaurant have been around for more than 5 years but this is the first time we have been here.

Had Chicken cooked with spring Onions. I din;t like the chicken but I sure love the gravy. Yea...nothing to do with the Chicken but rather am lazy to chew.

Crab meat Tofu. Where is the crab meat? Well, Papa found it in shredded form in the gravy

Steamed Egg... I love steamed Eggs...Yum......

Soya Sauce Fish. The fished was fried then if not mistaken drizzled with soya sauce....errrr...not very sure ah...you know Mamarazzi la...all "agak-agak" (guess) one....

Angle Gourd/Loofah gourd. Was surprised that it came with so much seafood. Think they put in two Loofah Gourd coz some of it was hard and some were soft(young). Can't blame them coz it was Raya Haji. Market was not open.

Overall, food here was okay la. Normal. Lucky they don't have weird dishes that some restaurant cook up.

Here is the address, I think. Not very sure coz it was night time and Mamarazzi didn't notice the exact road name. Google it and found this address fro m Kangpungboycitygal blog.

50E, Jalan Tok Lam

    1. It's easy. Just add same amount of water as the egg . Add salt to taste. Beat the egg. Then put into steamer and steam till the egg is cooked. Should be around 10mins.

  9. oh soy sauce fish?? was it the "yao jaam" fish?? yes, it's deep fried till crispy on the outside (still juicy inside) and then drizzle with some soy sauce (i think also add in some sugar and sesame oil to enhance the flavor).. if you go to Sin Kee at Brickfields, must order their "yao jaam waan yu", squeeze some lime juice on top, and very very nice!!
