One fine day, Mamarazzi said let's try baking . Make some Chocolates Chips Cookies.
Since we still "lesen lembu"(Learner's Licence), Mamarazzi told me to use Nona's Pre-mix
Very easy to make .....according to instruction at the back of the box lah. Just an egg and butter.
Mamarazzi said we better just make a small batch. Just to test water. Measure the premix.
Then the butter
Add in the egg and "kacau"(stir). Errrr...why so thick ah? Hmmm.....instruction never said must add water but then it will be too thick la...Mamarazzi helped me to add a bit of water la.
Stirred a bit...I "curi makan".....kena mamarazzi scold...but the mixture so nice to eat leh....
Ah...still have leftover la.....
Just enough leftover for one tray of cookies.
Now just have to wait....20 minutes.
First time making cookies...not bad. But I was wondering ...where are the "dots....aren't chocolate chips cookies supposed to have "dots"?
Mamarazzi said didn't buy the "dots". Next time will buy some from the bakery supplies shop.
Tomorrow is my school party...hmmm..... should I bake some for my friends? Errr...not dots but can put colourful sprinkles on top ka when baking? Will it burn? Any tips?
Pandainya little kucing !
ReplyDeletelearning :p
DeleteI love his expressions.....sexy chef but looks like little Einstein???
ReplyDeleteEinstein? errr........no potential of that :p
DeleteI bet the sprinkles would burn, but you can put a little frosting on them then the sprinkles
ReplyDeletefrosting. Hmm...I never thought of that. Thanks Terry will try
DeleteAhhh, one of my favorite thing to read when I read blogs.. Baking, cooking... When I saw the first word, "Baking", I didnt bother reading the rest of the words after the word "Baking", and just clicked on the post..
ReplyDeletewah like that every post i put title as Baking la just to attract you to come LOL
DeleteWah, first picture I see is so sexy wor.. J boy wearing that sexy apron, without any top on. OMG..
ReplyDeleteYou know, since I am a hamsap person like what TM and SK said (and yes, I memang is hamsap), I talk hamsap, think hamsap, type hamsap, read hamsap, imagine hamsap, everything hamsap..
So when I saw the first pic ahh, I straightaway thought of naked woman not wearing anything except an apron, cooking in the kitchen, and then, the hubs (or bf), came from behind and surprised her, and... Ooops, 18sx liao..
But J boy is wearing pants, not completely naked.. hahaha..
Hello Hamsap Blogger - Spot On! The photographer also wore less clothes as you imagined! LOL
DeleteNo eyes see no eyes see.....
DeleteYes, to bake with kids, and also for "test water", using a premix is better.. Less hassle and more senang.. Rite.. Just add egg and butter.. But the butter must measure, mafan also.. I very lazy to take out the weighing scale and measure the ingredients one...
ReplyDeleteAikks, J boy just recovered from fever, then now eat choc cookies pulak, will be "yit hei" mou?
By the way, where you buy the chef hat?
lesen lembu must at least test water lo.
Deletethe whole set of hat and the apron bought from BookXcess last year.
Ehee..hee...so cute! The half naked chef :) No need to put water leh, cookie dough is like that. Maybe your flour proportion too much compared to butter and eggs. Can put sprinkles, I don't think it will burn because cookies are in there for only 15-20 minutes. But if burn don't blame me, ok? Your cookies look good, not bad for first try!
ReplyDeleteOh no need water ah.. :p see...L Lesen kakaka....Thanks will try out the suggestion
DeleteThese chips must be very tasty!! Got added liew one... J's saliva!! hahahaa.... Good try, J... can sprinkle dot dots one... wont burn, right?
ReplyDeletekar liu ah...mau tak? LOL
DeleteOoooo...clever boy! Masterchef in the making. Next time I go Kl, you make for me, ok? No dots also never mind. Sure I will like one...
ReplyDeleteOkie. Set !
DeleteYour chef hat so nice. After this, you can try cooking kampua mee liao... Anytime nicer than choc chip cookies. Hehehehehe!!!!!
ReplyDeleteada gaya leh? LOL... kampua ah...have o find the thing to tosh it high high
DeleteCan i have a piece? lol...
ReplyDeleteYes, pop over la
DeleteWahhh.... i wanna bake choc chips cookie also leh... Looks tempting for me to taste some... Yummeh!
ReplyDeletehahaha....no you have to to keep fit. Must run more race

ReplyDeleteerrr...no gua......no not so handsome wor....
Deletethe premix you bought from BookXcess that comes with the mixture and tools etc?? or just off the supermarket shelf?? looks simple and easy to do lah, a good thing for the kids to get involved and of course the bonding.. nice!! i like this post, obviously Small Kucing baking is more interesting than mamarazzi baking, hahahaha~~ :D

Deletehehehe, that one is chocolate cookies only lah, not chocolate chips cookies since tarak itu "dot dot" mah.. got party at school tomorrow ah?? bake the cookies again lah, but must remind mamarazzi to go and get the "dot dot" from the bakery shop.. hmmm, actually using the colorful "dot dot" to bake is even nicer right??
ReplyDeleteyea lor class party tomorrow....duno laku or not my cookies
DeleteI like the chef hat too.
ReplyDeletetq tq :)
Deletesorry, of course Uncle SK cannot answer mamarazzi's questions.. will the "dot dot" melt?? that's actually a question that Uncle SK was so curious to find out the answer.. because the other day he bought M&M cookies and the M&M in the cookies still pretty intact, he thought why the M&M won't melt when the cookies were baked??
ReplyDeleteyeah wor...duno will melt or not...maybe try and see lor

DeleteWah Small Kucing so pandai can bake chocolate cookies without dots now.
ReplyDeletejust testing water only
DeleteMany local chefs and bakers will never buy pre-mix boxes because they believe it will jatuh standard. Craps!! The ingredients used will be the same, just that pre-mix are nicely packed to save our time and hassle to buy so many ingredients when we used so little. End up we have to store the extras in the bottles until grow bugs and kutus! LOL
