Oh my!!! what a wonderful Kid's Corner !!! Thank you a million to all volunteers who made this place so cozy!
A bit lacking on the books department for kids but am sure there are many of you out there who is willing to contribute some kids books here, right? Yes?
Mamarazzi was very happy to see me "reading". Usually am very lazy to read. Mamarazzi ask me to read, I will tell her to read for me. It makes her wonder whether I can or cannot read all by myself.
The "adult" section. As you can see they currently have only 3 shelves. See those yellow boxes on the left? It's all filled with books. BEP needs more shelves
A generous person had contributed this comforatble chair for visitors to sit in and read
Mamarazzi really salute various volunteers who donated stuffs to be sold there.
The proceeds will go to upkeeping of the cabin. Come on la...they still have to pay electricity, water and etc leh.
Amendment : for cleaning, supplies etc. Not utilises..opsie...
Mamarazzi really salute these generous soul. There was a little girl who also donated some of her stuffs for the sale.
Mamarazzi got this glow in the dark stars and planets for me at RM1. I wanted the Beach Boy Radio. Auntie Fay who is one of the volunteer and pinioeer of BEP was going to sell it for RM2, but
This coming Sunday there will be another Book Exchange session. So anyone free this Sunday? Why not drop by the Book Exchange to pick up a good reads or two.
If you can't make it this Sunday, don't worry. The book exchange will be held on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month at the BEP Cabin, Jalan USJ 12/2E. GPS 3.041068 : 101.574987 / N 03°02'28.0 E 101°34'30.7

If your mama sets up a stall at the Amcorp flea market to sell her books, sure jadi kaya raya!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteyes yes yes, i so agree with Uncle Arthur!! mamarazzi sure become a rich woman if she is to sell all her books~~ :D
DeleteBEP is for exchange book la. Not for selling books.
DeleteAnyway, rugi besar lo if I sell my books. Second hand books have minimal value in terms of money.
AIyoh! Books are priceless in the eyes of a bookworm! How to sell! Tsk tsk
DeletePandai lina :)
Deletethis is indeed a very nice place, especially for book lovers to spend a day reading the books.. errr, i bet the books there are not meant only for exchange but also for free reading right?? :)
ReplyDeletethe kids corner is indeed a gem, nice!! and we can see why when even small kucing feels like reading there, hahaha!! and the oppa gangnam style on his tee seems to be enjoying to book too~~ LOL :D
Deletethere are sure a lot of kind-hearted and generous people around who donated things for the BEP.. mamarazzi also very kind to buy the stuffs, i wonder if mamarazzi also donated anything?? besides books, also can exchange those stuffs or not?? :p
DeleteYea for free reading but cant read much there coz every forth night only open for 2-3hours. All man by volunteers .
DeleteIts meant to be drop off a book or two then pick up a book or two. Also booklovers can have a chat on books which they like.
Mamarazzi donate by "buying" lor...all it's to keep the community going.
Really very nicely set up, just like a mini library.
ReplyDeleteYup...and what good about this is unlike library, BEP doesn't set a time limit for you to return the book. If you wish, you can keep the book too
DeleteLooks like a library...

DeleteCosy and comfortable new place. Certainly book heaven for those who love to read.
ReplyDeleteYup...with shelves, its easier to hunt for books
Deletehey Mama... I have an idea.. why don't you liven up the place with your mini library? I am sure you can be a major "bookholder" there.. since you like books so much, you can read and at the same time operate from there.. (good idea or not?)
ReplyDeleteNope....I love my books too much . Only lend out to those whom I know who would take good care of them .
DeleteSaw one or two in previous occasion who when select book just take and when doesn't want, simply throw the books into the box
Meow,
DeleteI share your sentiment.
Sometimes it annoy me that I lend someone my precious book and they didn't take care of my books properly. I even hate those who fold a page to mark where they stop reading. :(
Worse, the borrowers sometimes never bother to return my books. :(
Yea some buat harta. Hence I inly lend to those whom I kniw will return them to me , like Claire. Lend her books before and she always return them in good condition :)
DeleteI never know there is place like this :)
ReplyDeleteDo drop by if you have the time :)
DeleteThe kids' corner looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis Sunday I am free but too far for me already la!
DeletePaiseh paiseh :p
Start one at your hometown la. Good for everyone
DeleteGreat job by the volunteers!
ReplyDeleteMamarazzi no need to worry about the small kucing lah. Boys memang like that. Girls senang to be bookworm. Boys susah sikit. xD
Yup..salute them for their commitment towards this programme
DeleteAdei...this budak if ask him to play will be number one ...ifread..he will prefer picture books or those can press here and there punya

Deletewhat about people putting way too many link in the comment pulak? ;)
DeleteSaw recent g circular that they penalise the site which hv too many "links to". That's why some foreign website is writing to bloggers not to link to their site unnecessarily.
DeleteI think it was something about G penguin penalty.
DeleteAdei manyak susah to blog la. Too many out going links in own blog also kena...orang link to us also kena....
Feel so unfair right?
