She was wondering how tocook these mushroom. Hmmm...what's the name of these mushroom ya? No idea leh.
She seems to recall someone posted about these mushroom and said it taste like chicken meat.
Not sure how to cook these so she simply "tembak"(Shoot).
Seems to recall that it have to be shredded and it would look like chicken meat.
Wokay lor....chop chop chop a piece of ginger. Fried it with some oil.
Throw in two pieces of chopped chicken wings. Then throw in the shredded mushrooms. Add some dark soya sauce, some salt and some oyster sauce.
Jeng jeng....not bad la......
Taste quite good leh ...In fact I ate two plates of rice. Nice nice to sleep with a full tummy.
Does it taste like Chicken Meat...hmm...not really la....
Errrr....anyone know what is the name of these mushroom?

Deleteyeah, saw this type of mushroom in supermarket, and it's becoming more common now.. can't remember the prize in supermarket (of course also the name printed on the tag), but i think RM5 for 3 packets if kind of cheap..

Deleteif not mistaken, when having korean BBQ, they will slice the mushroom and then grill them!! also very nice like that eaten with the grilled meat and lettuce.. but then leceh lah if going to do like that at home right??

DeleteYup, it's Eryngii or King Osyter Mushroom. Just cooked some last night.
ReplyDeleteRM5 for 3 packets is extremely cheap. These mushroom is quite expensive in supermarket with larger size and different packaging. Also got baby Eryngii which is extremely tender and juicy.
Hmm....these maybe baby ones kot coz it's palm size. I like the taste, Must experiment more with it
