Another late post. Haiz...if people ask us to do food review sure "cham" liao. Wait till neck long as a giraffe the post yet to be up. Luckily this is not a food review.
Two months ago we were at Kuchai Lama area. A friend saw this restaurant sometime ago. Hence we decided to dropped by to "makan" as it was near dinner time.
Wah....so many lovely photos....every dish looks very appetising.
I think that was the time which Papa started his "crazy lala" phase. Ordered this "sheong Thong Lala"(Clam in Superior Soup). Love the soup as it was very sweet. Would have been perfect if they put more wine.
Next was the Taufu(Beancurd) with Angle Gourd. The taufu was very yummy. The Angle Gourd have a bit of bitter taste.
Mamarazzi said maybe before planting the angle gourd , the land used to be planted with Bitter gourd. Hence the angle gourd have bitter taste.
Steamed Chicken. Surprisingly it was steamed with herbs. The "soup" was great.
The dipping for the steam chicken - minced ginger and spring onions.
Price wise, have been reasonable. Normal restaurant price. Hmmm ...think it was around RM100 with rice and drinks... The chicken was around RM30.
Here is the address of the restaurant 33, Jalan Kuchai Maju 7, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, Kuchai Lama, 58200, Kuala Lumpur
