Tong Kee Brothers Confectionery Swiss Rolls

We went down town last week. Arrived at Pudu saw a Tong Kee Brothers Confectionery Shop.

(recycled Photo)
Knowing my love for Tong Kee Egg Tarts, Papa stopped the car. Mamarazzi and I got out and bought some egg tarts.

While she was there, she noticed that they have Swiss Rolls that looked very similar to those of JJ Cakes & Swiss Rolls.

She bought a roll for RM8. If not mistaken, it's called Wholemeal Swiss Rolls.

Came home and had an "Opening Ceremony".

Well, it did not disappoints Mamarazzi. Taste good and in "middle" layer they put in some nuts. Just a tad sweet for Mamarazzi. Otherwise it would be perfect. But I ate, I don't feel it's that sweet wor. Different taste buds gua.

Saw they have others flavour like Green tea and Bamboo Charcoal too. Hope in the future they will come up with fruits and vegetables Swiss Rolls as well, just like those from JJ.

  8. I remember last time, they don't sell breads and cakes. I had once bought the swiss roll from this shop at Seri Petaling, really taste great but a bit pricey compare to Berry's Cake House.

  12. Tong Kee's egg tart is one of my favourite. And,I miss their white carrot cake very much. They once sold it in mid valley branch, then don't know why they stop that. However, as for swiss roll, I never try that yet.
