Shin Kee Beef Noodle vs Lai Foong Beef Noodle, Kuala Lumpur

First of all Happy Malaysia Day to all Malaysian. Anyone going to Dataran Merdeka for Malaysia Day celebration today?

Well, we did went down town the other day. Saw they were preparing the stages at Dataran Merdeka.

Drop by Petaling Street area. Papa wanted to have Beef Noodle.

There are two famous Beef Noodle shops.

One is Restaurant Shin Kee Beef Noodle and the other is Lai Foong Beef Noodle

 We went to Shin Kee

Nasib baik not many people at this hour.

 The prices.

Koey Teow Soup for Papa and bihun mee mor Mamarazzi

Where is my bowl of noodles? Tak aci...have to share with Mamarazzi.

After eating that Beef Noodle, Papa was still hungry. We went to the opposite and had Lai Foong Beef Noodle

 Two bowls?

I don't want noodle liao. But I want the delicious Egg Tart there. I think it's Tong Kee Egg Tarts

 Papa's bowl of Beef Noodle.

So...which shop taste better? Well, each have it's own merits. Papa likes the Keoy Teow from Shin Kee coz it's smoother but preferred the meat at Lai Foong coz it's chunkier. Each person have their own taste in food.

For me...I prefer the egg tarts to the noodles. Yummy eggs tarts.

Here are the address of the two shops :

Shin Kee Beef Noodle Specialist
7A, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock
Kuala lumpur

Lai Foong Beef Noodle
138, Jalan Tun HS Lee
Kuala Lumpur

  1. The soup looks so pale like it's so diluted. And RM6!!! RM8!!! *terus pengsan! I think I'd like the egg tarts too.

  5. The soup inside the noodles looks good but I don't eat beef. Lovely egg tarts, I call this place PS Boutique for all the imitation brands found here.
