Before school holiday, we received news that Auntie Claire is coming to town. You know her lah....when we went Ipoh, she bring us around the town and makan non-stop. Not only makan...it's makan and tapao too.
Well, "revenge time". Muhahaha.....die die also have to go "kidnap" her.
One thing we know is that she also loves to eat Roast Duck ...same as us. During our recent trip to Petaling Street, we got to know that the famous Sze Ngan Chye Roast Duck have opened a restaurant in Kepong.
Guess this is the perfect time to pay this shop a visit. Quite easy to find this place but parking was a bit problematic. Seems that we were lucky that day...or maybe someone up there knows that Auntie Claire is coming to town and "reserved" a parking space for us right in front of the restaurant kot?
Yikes...really big size wor. This really scared Auntie Claire and Mamarazzi coz they order normal Wantan Mee ...if the size is so big how to finish ah?
Dig around...ohhhh....looked small sized coz they top the noodle to make it look like a small hill.
The noodles was fine as compared to the noodles that we had in some other Wantan Mee stall but taste very nice. Springy.
Taste.....hmm.....Roast Pork and Roast Duck was delicious...at least for us la. Roast Chicken was a bit pale when compared to the former.
Mmm.....yummy! it was still warm....adui..nice......
Total bill comes up to RM66.70. Not bad la. Who can guess whose hands are faster?

OMG I love love love all the food in your post today! Very "ngam" me, "ngam sai ngor sik".. I alone can wallop everything, belif or not? First, it's the choy keok.. Mum calls it choy keok and I tell you, everytime she cooks this, I will wallop 3 plates of rice, with just the soup.. No need vege, meat.. Haha..I also like your noodles with minced meat, I can eat two plates la.. Oh dear, look at that siew yok & char siew, can die now ahh looking at it, can see, cannot eat, very suffering leh.. HELP !!!!

ReplyDeleteYes, Kepong does have very nice food. My two fav there are the cheese crab dish and the dry version in claypot of Bak Kut Teh. Yum!
Not very familiar with Kepong. But yes, saw many good reviews on kepong food

DeleteI eat duck sometimes but not much. I love the one with very crispy goose duck skin. Wow! Nice! Maybe I have no luck as many times the duck meat I had was hard and smelly.
ReplyDeleteI am attracted to this spinach noodles! I cannot remember where I saw them now, in Japan or China but it doesn't matter. I must try this one here at Sze Ngam Chye to taste it someday.

Uncle SK thought shophouse restaurant mah, sure like more expensive but then looking at the bill, RM6 for a plate of noodles not that bad woh, because some kopitiam in town already selling this price..
