Only dug up a brinjal from the fridge. Hentam la......steamed the brinjal with minced meat and goji. Added a bit of salt for taste.
Mamarazzi said sedap wor....
I don't know leh coz Papa and me ate Pizza. Yup...Mamarazzi gone mad. Cook rice and the brinjal dish to eat and also made Pizza for us coz I wanted to have pizza
Some days later, she finally bought Luffa Gourd. Made as per the recipe.....errr.....maybe not exactly follow the recipe la...but it sure taste good. Sweet.

ReplyDeleteThanks Mun :)
DeleteThe steamed luffa looks delicious! 'cheng cheng tam tam', I like!
ReplyDeleteand sweet too from the goji
DeleteThis look very interesting but I'm still not sure what a luffa gourd is. I'm sure my better half would know though, I'll ask her.
ReplyDeleteI like brinjals too, it's my favorite vegetable coz it doesn't taste like vegetables at all - very creamy.
ask her...she sure know..hahaha
DeleteThis mamarazzi apa pun boleh hentam la! She can fry any vegies with other recipes no problem! She can make pizza with roti canai I am sure! bwahahaha
ReplyDeleteEh how u know ah...papa did duggest use the roti canai dough for puzza wor
DeleteLuffa gourd is so common but Huai Bin doesn't know? Tsk tsk! Maybe he eats only Michelin chef's cooking where no luffa is used...
ReplyDeleteMaybe he knows it by other names coz this gourd also known as angle gourd, sing gua and etc
DeleteLooking at the 2 photos I think the luffa gourd tasted better with the sambal on top as the bitterness will bring out the taste better. Brinjal looked so messy lah. Wakakaka
ReplyDeleteSambal????? Belum try wor.
DeleteOf course messy la..not professional leh. Masuk perut come out will be more messy leh :p
Never cook the luffa gourd before:P
ReplyDeleteBTW, did you put any sauce before steaming the brinja/gourd?
nope...tarak sauce...just taruk pinch of salt
DeleteYou are always showing me foods that I have never tried.... probably won't ever get to try most of them.
ReplyDeletecan still try cooking this over there
