Simple Claypot Pork Ribs Rice

haiz....Mamarazzi have tried to steam pork ribs few times but each time dunno what happen la...the meat not melt in the mouth. Kept sticking to the bones. No matter how long she steam leh.

Fed up and lazy....marinated the ribs with some oyster sauce and dark sauce....cook claypot rice enough la...no clay pot, use rice cooker kau tim.

Dug up some Chinese sausages...pan fry bthem and some garlic...add the sliced mushroom. Then add the pork ribs.

Mamarazzi lazy to fry the rice too....Just throw everything into the rice cooker and cook la.

She really dislike cutting shallots . No matter what people say...put in the water or something,..she sure end up crying. But the without fried shallot the rice won't be that aromatic leh.

Nah...presentation not nice....

But i sure like the rice.

I can have two bowls of these  and I did...kiasu some more wanna take three bowls but cannot  finish.

  15. We don't eat pork ribs often, but we will grill steaks on occasion. We marinate them overnight before grilling them. The marinating helps make the steam much more tender. I love your rice --and yes, I'd fix it with onions (shallots)... We have a milder onion here (Vidalia onions) which help with cutting them up to put in a recipe... Not as much crying when using Vidalias.

    Hugs,
    Betsy
