Calanthe Art Cafe, Malacca (2nd Visit)

After the walk in Jonker street we went for lunch. Tried to find the famous Donald and Lily Curry Laksa but couldn't find . Hence after a few rounds, it was decided that we have our lunch at Calanthe Art Cafe.

The first time we visited this Cafe was in May 2012. It left a good impression to Mamarazzi.

I still remember this place. The first thing I did was...play with the pebbles!

Not really keen to eat leh. I wanna play pebbles leh. Here I kept asking Mamarazzi is the Jie Jie going to join us. Last time we came here with some friends.

Mamarazzi and Papa had the famous Calanthe Laksa. Papa opt for yellow noodles while Mamarazzi had Bihun(Rice vermicelli) .

Too bad her bihun was not soft enough. Felt a bit under cooked.Didn't bother to have it sent back to the kitchen

I had Seafood Keoy Teow soup. Mamarazzi "stolen" all my mushroom. I had the Keoy Teow only.

I had Banana Smoothies. This round it was not bitter like previous visit.

Mamarazzi had Coca-Cola while Papa had Ice Blended Coffee without whip Cream....but it came with Whipped cream anyway. Papa sent it back to the kitchen to have the cream removed.

  1. First dish looks yummy! Hey, on your build a list, just add your subscribe by email gadget first at the top of your sidebar, and put a little footnote on your posts telling everyone to sign up. It's a good start, and then you can transport that list to something fancier later;) I can see you have it here by the comments, but it gets missed.

  2. OK, I just clicked on that "subscribe" at the bottom of your comment box, and it's for follow up comments, so it's different from the subscribe by email to your blog posts. Make sense?

  7. Doesn't Small Kucing like to eat whipped cream? If he does, then he could have eaten the whipped cream and it doesn't have to be sent back to the kitchen.
