Big Breakfast at Baba Low Melaka Before Big Bad Wolf Books Sale Hunting

Seven early , eight early in the morning Mamarazzi kicked woke us up . Wanna go out makan then go Big Bad Wolf Books hunting wor.

Thanks to Mr G, we found a nice makan place. Very surprised wor coz when we arrived there only two table were occupied. This place supposed to be very famous leh. Holiday season...should be crowded , right? Must be coz we came early la.. True enough..after we finished eating ...more and more customers arrived.

They have Nyonya Laksa, Mee Siam, Nasi Lemak, Popiah and Pai Tee.

Boss! Please give me one of each please!

Nasi lemak. Look small in the photo but actually a big bowl leh. Love the way they added kangkung .

The rice was very very very fragrant. Full of santan aroma.

Mamarazzi had their Nyonya Laksa . Also very aromatic. They put a lot of the herbs kinda vege into it. Sedap.

She couldn't finish the big bowl of Nyonya Laksa and papa had to help.  A testimony of how good it was.

Pai Tee. Papa likes it. Mamarazzi too. Think they used  knife to cut the sengkuang/jicama/yam bean coz it's not thin. Very nice coz this makes the sengkuang taste nicer. Have the crunchy taste.

Popiah was RM3 but it was sure a very very big piece of popiah leh. They every add in coriander leaves in it. Yumss....Mamarazzi must remember to add this when she make popiah next time coz it makes a whole load of difference.

Finished Nasi Lemak and laksa but still itchy wanna have Mee siam. Taste okay la...probably coz already full liao.

As usual, Mamarazzi had Kopi O. Wah lau eh....where else can get Kopi O for just RM1.10 ah?

Papa really "terrer" leh. Early early ordered Cendol . Taste very good. Think they used gula melaka for the syrup.

Apart from that they also sell a three other types of kuih when we were there. And also homemade kaya. Can really see its homemade from the rough texture. Haven't open to eat with bread yet but sure aromatic.

One very satisfying breakfast. So many items for RM38.70 . Reasonable price.

Address : 486, Jalan Tengkera, Melaka
Tel : 06-2831762

After the BIG breakfast...still too early for BBW leh. Wokay la...detour to Jonker Street buy Pineapple tarts lo. But that one another story la. Too long already leh this post. Let you drool at the delicious food from Baba Low first la.

Oh ya...Big Bad Wolf Books Sale is in Trengganu now . Started from 6 May 2015 and will be there till 11 May 2015. The BIGGEST book sale in town is now at UniSZA's Gong Badak campus. Apart from Cash and cards, they also accept  BB1M vouchers.

  23. How come cannot finish the assam laksa is a testimony of how good it was? Sounds like opposite meaning only.

There is a Baba Low's eatery at Bangsar. Wonder whether it is an outlet of this one in Melaka.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. no double meaning there. eat till verh full already so no point forcing it in eventhough its delicious.

Papa who dont like muchof spicy food managed to polish off the balance including the soup its already a good testimony to that.

Well..at least the food there suit our taste la,
