Cherating, Smooth Journey and Anay

First of all, Mamarazzi wanna thank Anay for the sweet GOLD

and the priceless Tea . Really sayang to drink.

And also Kor Kor Jon's mommy for her gift, cookies, karipap, sata, cake and angpaus.

Yup...drop by Kor Kor Jon's place on the way back to KL. It's also the day I discovered something called "pop pop" .

Throw to the floor, and it will make popping sound. I had fun playing that with Isaac. Unknown to me, Kor Kor Jon's mommy gave a packet to Mamarazzi for me.

When I found out about it, I pester Mamarazzi to play with me. Mamarazzi said if finish then no more liao. I answered back very confidently "then get some more from Kor Kor jon's mommy lor!"  *mamarazzi pengsan*

Along the way we stopped by our usual Lemang stall at Kijal . Wow..."upgrade" already leh...painted and decorated.

Mamarazzi bought some. She choose the smallest size ones coz they are the most fragrant ones. RM10 for four.

This round, Mamarazzi clever liao...she gave the lady plastic container to put the lemang. No need bulky Styrofoam boxes.

Weird Mamarazzi....that night I caught her having lemang with ikan bilis.

That evening we stopped by this restaurant for dinner.  It's located opposite Legend Hotel Cherating.

Hmmm wondering if will kena slaughter or not....

 Me...the drinks taster.

Ordered steamed fish...said "Tak Mau Cili"(Don't want chili).

They must have heard "TamBAH cili" (add more chili)....*faints*. Well...what to do..."nasi dah jadi bubur"...or in this case "Ikan sudah masak."

Surprisingly though the mixed Vegetable was pale but it tasted good. Love the gravy.

Ordered Fried sotong(Squid). A bit pricey but understandable la coz Chinese New Year....demand more than supply.
 Sup Perut. Not bad.

Telur Masak Kicap(Egg cooked with soya sauce)

Total bill comes up to RM52 inclusive of drinks...hmm...not bad la...

That evening, I think we broke our record...reach KL in around 3.5hours. Smooth journey all the way. if not for the rain, would have reached KL much earlier.

  1. So normally will it be cheaper than RM52 for all those dishes you ordered? If yes, then it is very affordable.

So did Small Kucing use up all the pop pops?

  4. Food looks good. Malay cooking Chinese-style? Doesn't look like Malay cuisine, most. Lemang eat with sugar or condensed milk or kaya...if no rendang.

  8. RM52 is quite reasonable. During CNY every Chinese restaurants is expensive where food is concerned. Some restaurant even put up signs all over that there will be a 10% increase in price during CNY (presume until Chap Goh Meh). Mango & her old school classmates went for dinner the other night and ordered a bowl of tong-yuen soup with nuts inside for dessert after the waitress recommended to them after food and betul kena tong kaw kaw at a whopping RM80 per bowl for 11pax.

coz Xmas tak sempat collect so collect now lor plus Bday pressie also leh

no la...coz styrofoam very bulky. put two batang of lemang one styrofoam...with the container, mamarazzi can put in 8 lemangs

nope...bought the jeruk from the pasar. not from this stall. Pasar ones looks "fresher". This round didnt buy for Mak rempit as the place become too tourisy..have to wait for less crowd baru go buy

hahaha....Mamarazzi kena before the "minced" cili padi...duno which one is cili padi which one is kacang panjang

      SK is special , Anay

  17. It's like that. When people already said no chilli, don't know whether they pay attention or not. In between, want to ask why Small Kucing will kena slaughter one???

    ReplyDelete

    1. ya lor...they didnt take note.

"kena slaughter" means something like "kena cheated". Some shop will see if it's tourist then they will charge high price. But this shop was ok la
