Hmm...Just had durian the other day wor...eat again ah?
This round going for Durian Buffet. The Boss suggested that we have the "upgraded" buffet. For RM15/person, we get to eat those premium durians like durian udang, D24 and etc.
Waa....indeed the durians given were very good ones. Initially Papa and Mamarazzi were apprehensive. Mamarazzi read in some blogs saying the durians given at certain buffets were inferior.
I am happy to "report" that the durians that we had that day were good.
Mamarazzi requested for bitter tasting durian. And there was one have very bitter taste. Wow...she was very happy. Just too bad she can't finish it all coz she was too full by then.
Argh.....cannot move already. Too full to move. I tarak count how many durians they walloped.
This round they clever already. Ordered Young Coconut Water to go with the durians.
While eating, we saw someone invented something ingenious.
Have you ever heard of the story about if you wash your hand with water in the durian husk, it would get rid of the smell from your fingers? Guess what someone did?
He tied the durian husk together again and poke the pipe into the husk. We just need to on the water and we can wash our hands with the "filtered" water from the durian husk. Genius?
haiyoh, durian is already something horrible to me, somemore ada buffet lagi ah?? pening lah mamarazzi~~
ReplyDeleteoh really? I dislike the durian smell on my fingers after eating durians.
ReplyDeleteWe have durian buffet here too. I remember we were charged at S$10 per person last year.
ReplyDeletewaahhh....that's smart lah!!! *still drooling at those durians*

ReplyDeleteI loves durians very much!11
ReplyDeletelike the idea of the durian husk water filter!! yes, I always cuci tangan with durian husk after makan... and drink salt water from it too..
ReplyDeleteDurian buffets are common these days and fits those who can really eat but not for me as I am a small eater.
ReplyDeleteI only have durian like once a year and maybe one seed or two.
Yummy!~ Durian everywhere!
ReplyDeletehavent had time to eat durian :P
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea with the durian husk filter. Also the husk is good for adding salt and water to drink from the husk which is more effective for the reduction of heat compared drinking salt water from a glass or mug. Bananaz Beleaf It Or Not..~;).
ReplyDeleteYa, I saw the durian pipe water also :)
ReplyDeleteNever had durian buffet before. I don't think I can go durian buffet because I am so crazy over durian, I might start eating and cannot stop lah. RM15.00 for good grade durian is a steal!!
ReplyDeleteWah, good lah, all the best grade durians....yum yum!
ReplyDeleteHi SK, nice pics. We have friends here, children locally assembled will not touch durians.
ReplyDeleteThey ikut Mat Salleh already.
We get ours frozen from Thailand. Very good, thick flesh, no seeds. And I defrost them eat like ice cream....
Have fun.
