Aiyo...last school holiday punya cerita haven't blog yet, today pulak last day of school liao. Going to be a long holiday this one.
Last school holiday, I had some classes in school . One day, Papa and Mamarazzi came and pick me up after school and said going to a waterfall play water
Up we went a long and winding road. Along the roadside saw got some Orang Asli selling various plants.
Spotted this weird looking plant. They say it's "Golden Chicken" wor. Cannot eat punya chicken la. The "fur/feather" is good to stop heavy bleeding according to them.
Plenty of wild honey and ferns being sold along the road too.
After what seems like ages, we finally arrived at the waterfall. See! Kena Papa and Mamarazzi "kidnap"...not even have time to change out of school baju yet leh.
My "frozen" look. Gosh! The water was sure freezing cold.
Yikes....Birdie frozen liao la....
Kurang asam....play not even half an hour and it started to rain. Spoilt sport betul. But but there were many vendors near the waterfall sending steamed Sweet Potatoes and Steams Ubi Kayu....errr....what do you call ubi kayu in English ah? Wood potatoes? *LOL*. Taste great when eaten with bits of grated coconut.
Next stop....our Hotel and off we went hunting.... Wanted to go to Strawberry farm but then it was near closing time .
Managed to "see" strawberries la but no time to go strawberry pickings.
Next stop...of course lah "Chow Time".
WHAT an adorable post!!!!! I just love that little boy of yours!!! Good JOB!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda LOL..
DeleteSuch fun! I love the falls! :)
ReplyDeleteUbi kayu. Yam??
ReplyDeleteI passed this waterfall on way to CH last year. Lovely sight but did not have chance to stop and see see.
Ooohhh. Chicken's feather?? How to stop bleeding?? Just take some and put on the bleeding area?? First time I see such stuff.
Tapioca lah!!! I love eating it steamed, just eat like that, good enough, very nice. I love this place! Must take me there next time, ok? I would not go swimming though, nanti tsunami. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteUmmmm...got Lata Mangeskhar singing at the top of the falls? Mi sha...tum...nay hee.....!!! LOL!!!
DeleteWonder where will your Papa and Mama bring you to this school holiday?
ReplyDeleteFuiyoh, go Cameron kai kai.. Nice la.. Today Kz got class party, last day of school already.. But to me, just a normal day la, coz daycare still open as usual everyday.. Wah, the plant looks like meat floss, haha, wana eat !!!
ReplyDeletehaha, maybe Mamarazzi can keep this post until the school holidays starts later, then without telling us this is a "basi" post, we will all assume Small Kucing flee to Cameron Highlands on the last day of school even before the holidays start!! :p
ReplyDeletehehe, Paparazzi very smart la, knew Small Kucing hasn't taken shower or bath yet so straight away brought him to the waterfall to take an "al fresco" natural outdoor bath, very resource saving mah like that.. at least can soak there for half an hour before it started to rain, better than none la.. :)
ReplyDeleteooh memang nice to see stalls selling hot food along the road leading to the waterfall.. after playing in the water, sure very cold age tired and hence hungry lah.. those food really comes in the right time.. ubi kayu is cassava kot??
ReplyDeletestrawberry farm before closing?? actually see see look look take photos good enough lah, not necessarily need to go pick the strawberries lah.. next time when Small Kucing grows up, can earn money to bring Mamarazzi and Paparazzi to angmoh place to pick even bigger and cheaper and sweeter and juicier strawberries leh~~ :)
ReplyDeleteI love waterfalls
ReplyDeleteVery long time I haven't been to Cameron Highlands. I am very curious about the "Golden Chicken". Never seen it before.
ReplyDeletewood potato? potato wood? tapioca? cassava?
ReplyDeleteNext time must allocate more time.
ReplyDeleteGo again this coming school holiday lah! :)

ReplyDeleteYour papa and mama are really impromptu people, whisk you off to CH and a water fall without letting you know in advance. A nice surprise for you then!
ReplyDeleteI long time no go Cameron Highland. I must take April and May there one of these days. Many new things to explore at Cameron Highland already.
ReplyDeleteI was just mentioning to my hubby that long time haven't been to Cameron Highlands. Do you stop at this waterfall for a rest only. Those golden chickens looks like real ones from afar!
ReplyDeleteU handsome young fellow U ... smiles, little kitten ... Love cat.
ReplyDeleteSmiling smiling ☺.
DeleteSo late today, Cat. Its more than midnight over here but your side maybe the morning is just starting.
Have a great weekend, Cat
Nice outing. These types of family outings such a trilling and for happiness.
ReplyDeletefunny frozen birdie xoxo
ReplyDeleteguess it will pretty much fun if not raining
Love Cameron Highlands! Cold water, hot food what is there to dislike haha. Did you get that golden chicken?
ReplyDeleteUntil now, I haven't been to Cameron Highlands and it looks so fun. Really want to buy kaki to go Cameron now.
ReplyDeleteWow! This post brings me down memory lane. I went to the falls so long ago and have good memories.
ReplyDeleteThat Golden Chicken was also around when I saw it at 7 years old and heard the same stop-bleed theory. I wanna laugh cos we need to grow and water this plant just to stop-bleed(??) The cotton industry will close shops.
Still can have water play at CH, salute!
