This is another "basi"(Stale) post. Why did we went to Kota Damansara that evening ah? Mamarazzi forgotten liao. Was it for a meeting? Was it to collect something? Hmm.....anyway...by the time we settle everything, it was dinner time liao. I told Papa and Mamarazzi that I wanna eat noodle....wokay la long time never had the Hokkien Mee there. The usual shop that we went to also "hilang" liao. Hentam eat at Restaurant Damansara Hokkien Mee la coz their Hokkien Mee is well known to be delicious.
For RM0.50....it's sure a lot of lard leh.
But when the noodle arrived....uiks...how come have lard geh...looks like we misunderstood. What they meant was if we want additional lard then have to order separately.
Portion for two person. Price per person RM8.50 and if order for two...it's RM16 only. RM1 discount lo
Papa likes Loh Mee. He ordered portion for one person.
The other day we were having Herbal Chicken which Mamarazzi cooled. Saw both of them finishing the chicken soon and I eagerly dig also....I told them I want the :"best" part of the Chicken. Then Mamarazzi "kiap" one part and gave me. Told me it's the best part of the chicken...and it's called Tongkeng Ayam. Bluff me....taste yucky...till today I have yet to ask Cikgu want is Tongkeng Ayam
Okay...here is a "trivial" just for fun. It was a question from my Science and Technology exam paper. The question is please list down the correct sequence on how to turn on you PC. A-monitor, B-CPU C-Main Switch.
Tongkeng ayam is the backside is it? You must remove the yellow thing or else it will taste yucky.
ReplyDeleteTarak remove :p
DeleteYou are making me crave some fried rice. :) I do really like fried rice but I haven't had it in quite a while. I think it is time.
ReplyDeleteHahaha....ya but cannot have it too often
DeleteIf you didn't tell us when you guys visited the place, we also wouldn't know it's basi lah! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust a percausion leh. Mana tau suddenly this anay or SK wanna go eat there...when arrived, the shop hilang liao...moved or what...habis will kena they jibe upside down leh...must tell basi post just in case....
Deletehehe, next time Mamarazzi must jot down why going to certain places lah, else later when come to writing the "basi" post cannot remember pulak.. anyway, maybe it's something not important so Mamarazzi also don't bother to remember kot?? padahal the makan part is more interesting hor??
ReplyDeleteaiyer......Mamarazzi paling lazy one leh...jot down by the time wnna write post then sure hilang liao.
Deleteunless it's invited reviews la .
this Damansara Hokkien Mee really famous leh, Uncle SK also been there before, and they also have an outlet in Old Klang Road leh, if that is the same shop lah.. wah, the Hokkien Mee really "kao kao" with lard woh, so were those the original ones or those extras that Mamarazzi ordered separately ah?? geng leh, haha, but for pork lard lovers sure no problem lah~~ :p
ReplyDeleteOKR also have ah>
Deleteordered separately lor...didnt know they have give lard mah...coz menu say add lard. thought they wont give lard unless add. Some restaurants do that ma
eih, the Loh Mee looks nice leh, seems very flavorful woh.. usually Uncle SK will order Hokkien Beehoon and Loh Mee because like that not so much of mee mah, can balance up a bit with the beehoon hehehehe!! so and actually the Loh Mee gravy put into the Hokkien Beehoon also very nice de, have Small Kucing tried that before??
ReplyDeletehkkien beehoon ah...hmmm..... We like the yellow noodles more leh. Hah? put into Hokkien Bihoon....aiyo...never tried before leh
DeleteOMG!!! All that lard!!! So 50 sen for the Hokkien mee, 50 sen for the lor mee...RM1 lah?
ReplyDeleteOf course, main switch lah - no electricity, how to turn on everything else. Don't tell me the answer is wrong - I will go and gaduh with your teacher! Ummmm....what's tongkeng ayam? Buntut eh?
wei...no la...RM8.50 la. 50sen is for the lard
Deleteyes main switch is 1st ...then followed by which one? CPU ke or Monitor? and what is the rational of turning them first
Oooh. More lards, it tastes better. Yum yum.
ReplyDeletemore crunchy and yummy
Deletehehehe, Tongkeng Ayam ah?? Uncle SK thinks he knows what it is lor, so Small Kucing found that nice or not?? smooth or not?? hahaha.. go and ask the teacher what Tongkeng Ayam means lah.. at the same time, ask the teacher to explain the sequence of switching on the PC also leh.. cos from the photo, the teacher already marked the paper with the correct sequence in red woh.. (1) turn on the power - this one for sure lah, then only (2) turn on the monitor and lastly only (3) turn on the PC..
ReplyDeletetoo stinky leh.....sobs sobs.....
Deletei love the add extra lard option. fifty cents and you get so much sinful addition to your dish.. yummm :P

ReplyDeleteRM 2 too much la.... LOL
DeleteThey won't be able to earn extra from me on lard, as i don't quite like lard, so will not add lard, hehe...

ReplyDeleteHa ha Small Kucing kena tipu by mama! Last time my uncle told me that eating tongkeng ayam will get smooth face. But I ask him why his face so much pimples..haha...When I cut chicken, I always throw away that part!
ReplyDeleteThe food looks delicious. I love noodles.
ReplyDeleteAdoi! CPU and monitor have different power plugs one lah. This question is defective! Will confuse the young minds! (Since our ministers like to say we are easily confused by everything, like using a certain word in a certain language Bible)...
ReplyDeleteThe lard - sinful but so good for the crunch. And hokkien with lard, heaven,
ReplyDeleteWalau eh!! The lard is my yummiest food for the Hokkien Mee.
ReplyDeleteAt first, wifey cautioned me not to eat too much but after she read somewhere that they are very good to repair the cartilage and joints, she encouraged me to eat plenty pula! Muahahaha
The shop in Uptown near the Balai charges like RM1.00....
Haha 'extra lard' means tambah la... like 'extra cheese' on a pizza. :)
ReplyDeleteOn switch, on CPU then on monitor la... although CPU and monitor steps are interchangeable.
Evil evil!! I'm on diet now after seeing my tremendously increased weight, this Hokkien mee is totally can't touch at all! Especially those lards!!!
