No Name/Name unknown Bak Kut Teh, Kepong

Mamarazzi nearly forgotten about this place. Was reminded about it when she saw in Facebook this morning that one hypermarket made a typo mistaken in they ads. They wanted to say "Fork & spoon" on sale and encourage people to buy before GST sets in but they wrote "Pork & Spoon".

These few days saw in media that everyone are rushing to hypermarket / supermarket/ shops and what-not to stock up before the GST. GST or not...life goes on. Scream also felt so useless.

Anyway, back to the pork....

While we were in KT, her fiends friends Pete and Cikgu Lau posted how much they enjoyed Bak-kut-teh ....

Aiyo...got friends like these no need enemy liao. *LOL* Anyway, once, we set foot back in town....again dunno what o eat....on the way home got pass by Kepong ma...Kepong also famous for Bak-kut-teh punya....so stop there to have Bak-kut-teh loh. But too bad the one that Mamarazzi like, Kaka Bak Kut Teh was not open that night. Stop by the roadside and had bak-kut-teh.

Errr...dunno what's the name of this stall. No name noted there

Ordered some vegetables

And also Yau Char Gwai to dip into the BKT soup

The BKT did not suit Mamarazzi taste coz it doesn't have much of herbal taste. Quite mild and the soup was quite clear as per the photo.

This certainly will suit those who doesn't like strong herbal taste.

But the bonus point was that they have this delicious braised Chicken Feet. Done just nice. . Slurps....

Sorry ya///can't give you direction to this stall coz tarak know the name but it's along the main road la.

  13. ... Yummy!!! ... People here in North America turn their nose way up, when it comes to chicken feet ... I was raised on eating feet of chicken, duck and pig, as well ox tail, because, that's all we could afford back then ... Love, cat.

  18. No name? No shop sign? Ok...no name then. I saw somewhere, a shop with a big sign saying "No Name". So silly - that's the name then... The name of the shop is "No Name"!

  19. If I am at Kepong, I will only go to Kaka, others, sorry...

But I think this one would suit Penang people's taste. The bak kut teh here no taste one, and yet the Penangites said "Wow, the soup is so flavorful! Better than Klang one!", so I think for Penang people, mild or no taste bak kut teh is best.. *Sigh.. scratch head*
