Mamarazzi nearly forgotten about this place. Was reminded about it when she saw in Facebook this morning that one hypermarket made a typo mistaken in they ads. They wanted to say "Fork & spoon" on sale and encourage people to buy before GST sets in but they wrote "Pork & Spoon".
These few days saw in media that everyone are rushing to hypermarket / supermarket/ shops and what-not to stock up before the GST. GST or not...life goes on. Scream also felt so useless.
Anyway, back to the pork....
While we were in KT, her
Aiyo...got friends like these no need enemy liao. *LOL* Anyway, once, we set foot back in town....again dunno what o eat....on the way home got pass by Kepong ma...Kepong also famous for Bak-kut-teh punya....so stop there to have Bak-kut-teh loh. But too bad the one that Mamarazzi like, Kaka Bak Kut Teh was not open that night. Stop by the roadside and had bak-kut-teh.
Errr...dunno what's the name of this stall. No name noted there
Ordered some vegetables
And also Yau Char Gwai to dip into the BKT soup
The BKT did not suit Mamarazzi taste coz it doesn't have much of herbal taste. Quite mild and the soup was quite clear as per the photo.
This certainly will suit those who doesn't like strong herbal taste.
But the bonus point was that they have this delicious braised Chicken Feet. Done just nice. . Slurps....
Sorry ya///can't give you direction to this stall coz tarak know the name but it's along the main road la.

ReplyDeleteKepong memang famous for BKT mah.,....rows and rows of BKT shop there
DeleteAiyoyo...you never heard of Kaka BKT? How cannnnnn
adui, Mamarazzi must be very disappointed leh.. her favorite bot opened, and the one she went also tarak ngam her taste pulak.. Uncle SK prefers the soup and taupok more than the pork, if soup no umph then also not shyiok leh~~
ReplyDeleteya lo....sad...but at least still have BKT shop open la. CNY leh...many are off
Deleteluckily still have the chicken feet that ngam Mamarazzi's taste leh.. wah, dark and tender enough until the skin also detached from the bones leh, sure braised or stewed for a long time and all the flavors masuk deep in leh..

ReplyDeleteeasy to cok but Mamarazzi likes to have it with the intestine and stomach. Kinda hard to clean those
DeleteAh I see I see.
Delete... Yummy!!! ... People here in North America turn their nose way up, when it comes to chicken feet ... I was raised on eating feet of chicken, duck and pig, as well ox tail, because, that's all we could afford back then ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteI heard so too. Many don't take chicken feet
DeleteThe food looks good! We do not have any stalls here, you are lucky!
ReplyDeleteThat we are...certainly lucky as we can find a food stall open at any time of the day
Deleteeveryone is talking about gst now.. the famous topic!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA.
BKT. long time din eat already nah...>.<
Memang famous topic as it affect our lives
DeleteWow! BKT, hmmm, I think its time for another trip to eat BKT!
ReplyDeletehahaha....BKT is certainly very tempting right? :)
DeleteI actually don't mind the strong taste for am a big fan of bkt. And the chicken feet too. Today was really crazy. Wanted to buy some things at the pharmacy and the counter wasn't moving at all. Give up and came back home.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days we gotta go food hunting together
DeleteYes...everywhere also people rushing to buy and stock up
No name? No shop sign? Ok...no name then. I saw somewhere, a shop with a big sign saying "No Name". So silly - that's the name then... The name of the shop is "No Name"!
ReplyDeleteNo shop signboard.
DeleteIf I am at Kepong, I will only go to Kaka, others, sorry...
ReplyDeleteBut I think this one would suit Penang people's taste. The bak kut teh here no taste one, and yet the Penangites said "Wow, the soup is so flavorful! Better than Klang one!", so I think for Penang people, mild or no taste bak kut teh is best.. *Sigh.. scratch head*
Those vegetables look so fresh. That is what I would have chosen.
ReplyDelete'pork and spoon' made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI always get hungry here looking at yummy pictures
ReplyDeleteAfter observe for a few good minutes, I think I know which stall is this. :P
