Enjoying my school holidays at the moment. Mamarazzi haven't found the time to upload the photos yet. But found an old folder of post yet to post up and here is one of them
Last round we went to Ipoh, Auntie Claire brought us to this newly opened restaurant called " Golden Rice Bucket Restaurant"
Let see what is inside this Golden Rice Bucket.
Tada!!!!!
Steaming warm rice with something inside. Not sure what. herbs? Salted fish? But it tasted real nice
The boss kept asking us to eat it with their special sambal . I didn't want. Papa and Mamarazzi did . They said fulamak....syok max leh. It enhanced the taste of the rice . Wonder what is their secret recipe for the sambal.
Apart from that we also ordered their Claypot Ginger Duck. It was pretty good.
Alamak...what's this ah....Something pork. . forgotten the "glamourous" name for it. We ordered small portion just to share and taste hence it looked very little.
This is their signature Taufu. Mamarazzi had this before. Not bad la.
But for Mamarazzi, this kailan stir fried in wine stole the limelight from all the above dishes.
They put quite a lot of wine into the dish. Plus the ginger. Fuiyo......she loves it.
For me, I could eat a whole bucket of the Golden Rice without any dishes all by myself. It was that delicious.
See! all 4 buckets of rice finito. So clean that the Boss won't need to wash the buckets liao. Next time wanna come to this place again to try out their other dishes.
Here is the address if you are keen to try out the food here :-
3, Jalan Centrepoint 2, Pinji Centrepoint, 31650 Ipoh, Perak.
Ah, if you like this...then small kucing might like the signature steamed rice in KL's Steam Room kua?
