Again round and round the "garden" ...don't know what to eat. Stomach not that hungry and yet not full tank yet.
Then Mamarazzi say hentam and point...that restaurant lah since it has quite a number of customers. Food must be good.
First thing spotted at the restaurant was this signboard " The Original Mee Pok". Hmm......Uncle Arthur...apa macam?
Papa ordered their signature noodle....a.k.a... Mee Pork. Ahem ahem....got lard wor. Taste? Okay la. Not that salty. Maybe coz no MSG as Mamarazzi read .
As for Mamarazzi, she had Ice Lemon Tea. She like it coz they put real lemon slices in it.
I took a sip....no way.....Me don't like. I like sweet drinks.
Don't know what Mamarazzi had. Something that look like wantan mee or kampua. As for the taste...she said sure won't make your hair fall. Good for those who want a healthier mode of cooking noodle.
I had their Golden Homeland Noodle. Yippeee.....the eggy was just nice...still wobbly. Mamarazzi wondered how they make the egg like this without breaking the yolk.
Wanted to order sweet drinks but last minute I decided to order Iced Chinese Tea pulak. Mamarazzi say must be wanna bodek for something la.
Papa saw their tempting dumpling. Can't help it and ordered some. He says not bad wor. Mamarazzi didn;t eat coz she didn't like this type of dumpling. She preferred the thinner skin type.
Overall noodles price there was okay la. Normal restaurant price around RM6 to RM8. Drink price was a bit high.
Here is the address if you happens to be looking for some noodles that have been prepared without MSG No 24, Jalan SS2 2/24, 47300 PJ, Selangor.
This is the best looking food I have seen here yet!! Wish I could try just one bite! Here, it is all the rage to put an egg on top of things, like hamburgers or pasta.
ReplyDeleteyup...over here we put eggs in nearly everything
Deletewah ... kucing just finished running marathon ? Sure hungry la..
ReplyDeleteno la...this one not the day of the run
DeleteI've never eaten mee pok before but I see it in the supermarket, at the dried noodles (kosong) section.. But didnt buy la.. Only buy yee mee and bihum coz Kz only eats these both.. Oohhh those gyoza aka dumpling looks good, love it, I can eat 20! Buurrrpppp!
ReplyDeletecan try mee pok la...like wantan mee
DeleteMee pok looks very good. I used to order that in Singapore in 1974 since they did not have kampua. Buang gian, more similar...also very nice. Wanton mee is a bit more different.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...then must tell KH this
DeleteGood ah, nowadays even noodles shop try to jump on the healthy eating bandwagon.
ReplyDeleteSo, what is it that you wanted to bodek? :P
people are more health concious nowadays
Deletehaha, mini mini mini more!!! like that also can ke?? dunno what to eat then just throw the ball to Small Kucing, haha!! at least his "gold finger" pointed some decent place which is not using MSG, hehe!! nice job that was!! :)
ReplyDeletewhat to do....pakai tembak lo
Deletethe noodles look good woh, look quite authentic also, Uncle SK especislly like the Mee Pok, no wonder they are famous for that..
ReplyDeletehave you eaten here before?
Deleteeih, that egg is the "onsen egg" lah, no need to wonder but search online sure got people teach you how to cook it.. the basic Uncle SK knows is, half-cook the egg then quickly put into water (room temperature will do, he thinks) to stop the cooking process, then the egg will be runny yet firm enough not to pecah..
ReplyDeletehahaha.....ask mamarazzi to make sure kaput la
Deleteyalah Uncle SK agrees!! nowadays the drinks are so pricey leh, some even more expensive than food itself.. I think thanks to the trend that many customer would just like to order drink and then sit at the place for long.. in HK some eateries practice charging your double for drinks if you only drink and not eat..
ReplyDeletehaiz......bad bad trend. Like that bring own water la
DeleteGood morning.
