Stars Filled Weekend - Klang Valley DUGROSTAR Finale and DUGROSTAR Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid

Last Saturday,  we went to Sunway Pyramid where Klang Valley DUGROSTAR Finale was held to witness the crowning of the stars. 40 were crowned stars for their talented performance.

Fuiyoh...their energy and the enthusiasm really capture my heart leh. I bet the judges had a tough time deciding the top 3 winners.

And nope, I was not one of them. I chicken out. I didn't register to for the talent show. Instead, I got a Media Pass. Mamarazzi was thinking give this a miss but after taking painkillers for her swollen toe, die die go la. After all , a promise is a promise mah.

Hence, I become the "photographer" of the day while Mamarazzi sat down and tried to snap some nice photos among the seas of heads.

So....please forgive me for the not so good quality of the photos ya.

 

Saw  Vincy Kong performed. Gosh! she is only 5 years old and she had such confidence singing "Rasa Sayang Hey".

I whispered to Mamarazzi that she is a winner for sure. 

There were group performance too. Mamarazzi was tickled pink by this group....see the pair on the left. They were very good. Kept smiling the whole performance. Boy's leg shaking was great!

 

Think the Judges love it too.

The Judges for the day were Nur Diyana Hashim: Radio DJ and Instructor at BluBricks(left), Ruth Liew, Director of Malaysian Child Resource Institute and Child Developmentalist(middle) and Elza Irdalynna, Actor, Producer, and Speech/Drama Instructor at Blubricks(right).

After the performance there was a long break. While waiting, the Stars get to play the games at the roadshow.

Ahem ahem....I also join in and play la.

 with some help from the big kor kor there.

 Love the Boom! Boom! Boom ! BANG!

 

Errr....what have I jumped into?  Abit young for me....get me out of here FASTTTTT....

There was face painting too but I refused to get my face painted. Scared later Monday Cikgu scold leh.

There were some performance in between and also a clown there entertaining the kids.

Then it was time for winners announcement. True enough my prediction.

Congratulations to all  WINNERS :-

• 3rd Place: Cindy Lim, 5 years old, played the piano
• 2nd Place: VINCY KONG YUN SIM, 5 years old, singing (the one with the Malaysian dress)
• 1st Place: Ashley Yong Hui Jing, 4 years old, dancing

There was another session on Sunday for 7-10 years old but we didn't go for that coz after the cycling and BookXcess, Mamarazzi was hobbling along liao. Went home and bathe the toey with dettol liao.

Anyway, the one held at Sunway Pyramid is only 1 out of the 7finales. Sabah, Malacca, Johor Bahru and Penang will have their respective finale this coming weekend and next weekend. Here is the venue and dates :-
