Italiannies at Empire Shopping Complex

 Wink wink...another late post. You know what I did last Christmas? Yup...went and had lunch at Italiannies.

Comes with two types of bread. Mamarazzi like the darker type. Not sure of the name. We finished one plate and asked for more as our food was rather slow to arrive.

 Tasted great with the dip provided.

 Caesar Salad with 3 bread sticks. Just wish they wont poke it in like that. Looks ugly.

 Mamarazzi's glass of Mango juice. Very thick and have a great aroma.

 Fettuccine Amatriciana. Some of the fettuccine was undercooked. Otherwise, it was okay.

 I want that one.

 No more Turkey so Mamarazzi had Chicken instead. It took a long time for it to arrived. Papa nearly finished his meal.

When it arrived the Chicken was very dry and not appetising looking at all. The things one the plate was cool too. Feels like it was left on the kitchen counter for too long.

Papa returned it. Happy to say that the staff did not give us an sour face when Papa told her about the cooled food and the dried chicken.

The staff promptly returned with a freshly made Chicken. Very SEXY too. Don't you agree? Just compare the two picture. Which one would you preferred? Of course the sexy chicken, right?

Taste quite good.

Overall, the food and service on that particular day were average. Probably due to Christmas and they might be under staff. Will certainly give them a try again.

Restaurant Hoppy, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Yahoo! Today am going to "PONTENG" school. Going food hunting with the Best Food Guide ever. But before that, Mamarazzi had better clear off some backlog. Well, this is one of the backlog.

While hunting for my shoes last December, we some how end up in Puchong.

Noticed this special looking restaurant and decided to try out the food here.

 

Papa and Mamarazzi love to have dinner with a pot of tea while I preferred Soya Bean.

We ordered from their Set Menu. RM29-90.= which includes...

Roast Duck. Taste good but Mamarazzi still bias toward the one in Petaling street.

Portion of Roast Chicken. Meat were tender and juicy.

A plate of Yau Mak. Was a bit oily for Mamarazzi.

 

Angle Gourd with Tauhu. This dish was very delicious.

Also the set comes with soup. Hmmm...okay la the soup.

 

Papa ordered additional dish. Sea cucumber with mushroom and broccoli. It was RM36 or RM38. Not sure. Taste okay but the portion of Sea cucumber was a bit small.

I had a hearty dinner here. The Set Menu is certainly worth the price.

Restaurant Lan Je (Steam Fish) at Kota Damansara

Saw Choi Yen's blog about Lan Je Steam Fish the other day.

Her photography really had Mamarazzi drooling. Hence that evening Papa drove us to the nearest Restaurant Lan Je which happens to be at Kota Damansara to try out their famous Steam Fish.

I brought along my Solar Power Robot but too bad no sun.

While waiting, I "dismantled" the robot and tried to build other thing but failed.

Huh? Why table number 9 being served first? Table number 1, number 3 and ours number 8 who came earlier not served yet. Hmmm...table number 9 must be VIPs.

Finally...Stir-fried kangkung. Mamarazzi love it coz the Kangkung was very young and fried just nice. Not over cooked.

Our Steamed Tilapia Fish. Mamarazzi ordered without Cili Padi ones coz I can't take spicy. Quite big for a person to eat. Just nice to share.

Taste? Okay la ..happy that the fish doesn't have mud smell.

Taufu. Not bad. Overall, it's not a bad place to have lunch/dinner.

The only thing that marred the dinner for Mamarazzi was that they had all the fans on full blast that evening. The food on the table turned cold pretty fast. Mamarazzi hates to have cold food.

As she was going to ask the staff to turn down the fan speed, coz she was feeling cold... Two guys at table number 10 asked the staff to turn down the fan but the staff told them that he can't do anything about it as there are not speed control for the fans.

In another case, Mamarazzi feels like must record down these conversations between myself and her the other day.

One evening Mamarazzi was watching "Triple X " the movie in Astro .

Me : Don't wanna watch this show lah. Bad bad. Shooting one.
Mamarazzi : Then watch what show?
Me : Watch Disney Junior only lah.
Mamarazzi : .........

One fine morning, Mamarazzi trying to wake me up for school...

Mamarazzi : Good Morning!!!
Me : Love you...
Mamarazzi : Awww *melt*
Me : Love you means oi oi(sleep) some more...zzzzz......
Mamarazzi : * kena tricked lagi aku. Banyak cantik punya anak*

Our nightly ritual is "Goodnight, I love you" hence Love you means oi oi.

Papa's Birthday Dinner at Restoran Nong & Jimmy, Thai BBQ, Taman Cahaya, Ampang KL

For Papa's birthday, he wish to eat Thai Food. Specifically, the Baked Crabs at Restoran Nong & Jimmy. We have been there before last year.

Hence that evening we headed there with a few friends.

The place was packed with people despite being a week day. Nevertheless, we didn't wait long for a table. Some people were leaving and the staffs cleared the table pretty fast. 

 Papa's favourite BBQ cockles. 

 Fried Bread Stick (Youtiao)- RM6. 

 Taste great with the Pandan Kaya (Coconut jam)

 Me first!...ouch! hot!

 

Hehehe...better use fork.

 

 Surprisingly young Kangkung vege. Stir-fried with Sambal Belacan.

Goes real well with the fried rice.

This fried rice may look plain but sure have "kick". Maybe coz they added onion or some secret ingredient. Under the rice, there were quite a lot of medium size prawns.  Delicious!

 Halfway makan, I wanna "manja-manja" with Papa pulak. Fishing for kisses.

Grilled Stingray. Once again, a thousand apology for Mamarazzi's lousy photography. Unlike last year, this round the Stingray tasted perfect. No funny smell.

Here comes the "VVIP". BAKED CRABS. Cost RM60 but worth every sens. Was meaty and fresh.

BIrthday and Mardi Gras at TGIF Subang Parade

The next days was Papa's Birthday. We decided to have dinner at TGIF.

Surprise, surprise....it was Mardi Gras too. Wow ! 50% off on all beverages. Not bad. Papa insisted to order something for Mamarazzi.

Huh??? what is this? Papa said I cannot drink. It's Ultimate Mudslide which consist of Kahlua, vodka, Baileys Irish Cream and ice cream. Say got alcohol wor.

 I wanna try.

Hmm...got alcohol meh? Taste like milk to me wor. Hmmm...must be purposely don;t want me to drink coz got Ice-Cream kot?

Here comes my  Spaghetti Marinara. Super yummy.

Mamarazzi's Sirloin Steak. Portion was quite big that night. Mamarazzi had a hard time finishing it. Lucky Papa is there to help.

 Papa's Beef Ribs. The ribs are actually not that dark. Just that Mamarazzi's lousy photography makes it so.

 Papa also ordered some Shrimps. Also pretty yummy.

 I want some ribs too.

 Mmmm...pretty tender. De-Li-cious!!!

Aiks! Papa's birthday become mine pulak...shy shy la...I hide under Mamarazzi's "Ketiak" la. The Staffs sang and sang and sang...eee....shy shy.....

But makan time, not shy pulak. Hehehe...just before going back, I "sempat" take a balloon home leh.

Oh what a wonderful evening!

TAWAS - Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor

Hello! I am back. Sorry for the absence as Mamarazzi was out of commission.  Caught very bad bacteria infection from me. It's her turn to shiver pulak. Now she is feeling much better with a course of strong antibiotics, hence here I am again.

Bringing the first good news...Jeng! Jeng! ...I received this letter! 

It says my application for Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor(TAWAS) have been approved. Mamarazzi first heard about this TAWAS from Alice Phua's Blog.

Candidly, Mamarazzi had forgotten about this totally as when the Fund was open for registration again, there was some confusion at the YAWAS. Some staffs there said I am not eligible as at the time of application, I had exceeded 1 year old. All application must be before the kid reach their first birthday.

Papa and Mamarazzi insisted to leave our Forms there as in their website, they stated that the Fund have been re-open for registration. Later on Papa and Mamarazzi checked online and saw that our application was rejected. Well, we thought that was the end of story. That is till I received this letter on Friday.

What is TAWAS? Seems that Selangor Government is giving each child who is eligible, RM100 in Savings and when the child reach 18 years old, the child will receive RM1,500. Errr....not very sure how to explain this. For further information, please visit their website http://tawas.org.my/.

Mamarazzi is not clear on the the terms and condition. From their website, it seems that not only kids born in Selangor are eligible but kids from Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Wilayah Pesekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Pahang are also eligible to apply for this. 

The second good new is....Mamarazzi saw this announcement at their website "Pendaftaran bagi tahun 2008,2009 dan 2010 telah dibuka semula. Tempoh pendaftaran adalah TERHAD."

It means that they have re-open the Fund for registration again. Those who are born 2008, 2009 and 2010 can apply now. Anyway, no harm trying your luck if your kids are born in those years.

Muhahaha...RM1,500....okay okay...by the time I am 18, this amount maybe have been peanuts but no harm being happy about receiving money, right. Just treat it as a Birthday pressie from the Selangor Government to me lor.
