The next day, decided to go buy durian from the Pakcik that is selling durian near my school but unfortunately, some more came in a 4WD and borong all the durian from him. Sobs...sobs...really no luck.
On the way home, saw a durian truck full of durian . Finally...yippeee... jump out of the car and told the guys to fill up our empty container.
Beh tahan...while Papa buying coconut water, I walloped some first. Yum yum...not branded durian pun never mind la. Can lepas gian.
Yesterday pass by the Pakcik selling durian near my school. Went and bought those RM10 per longgok durian from him. By right it should be only 4 durians but instead of that he gave us 6 durian and these are not from the longgok pile. He gave use the nice ones. So kind of him.
He opened the "buntut" of the durians for us so that it will be easy for us to peel. Forgotten to bring container.
Mamarazzi said wanna train me to "kopek" durian. No need to use screw driver or rock. Just a thick shape knife (her department) , and a piece of cloth. Get the "buntut" open a bit...which the Pakcik had done so for us. Then use your strenght and pull.
There you go. Easy peasy. Can eat liao. Or else you can do what we did. Put the durian into container and masuk fridge. Let it cold then eat. YUMM.
How to open the two sides of the durian? Just press down at the side. Mamarazzi even joked said good motoring skill for me wor. Can teach me how to balance the durian and avoid getting poke by the sharp thorns. The sharper, the thorns, the freshers the durian is.
Have you seen the above video about a group of men eating durians in Facebook these two days? It seems that the video had gone viral. Many thinks it's funny how the men open durian and their reaction after eating that.
Mamarazzi don't have much sense of humour. If don't like then don't eat. Just say "no thanks". Don't have make the exaggerated puking motion again and again. You don't wanna eat, other people wanna eat. Moreover puking on table which is not hygiene at all.
For those who have not seen thee video, you can view at https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153521174069553&id=259672394552 or https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rjUc6eaqEMg.
my dear shared me a video to watch, the guy using his hand to open the durian, bare hand and his fist become bleeding after opening durian but he get foc durian to eat.
ReplyDeletewah....ganas leh....but not worth hurting the hand like that
DeleteWhat a clever boy! You can now open durians at such a young age! Tell mamarazzi to open durians for you and papa to eat since she anti-durians!
ReplyDeletewhere got anti durian oh
DeleteCan lepas gian!!! What a funny word!
ReplyDeletewhy funny leh? Malay word leh
DeleteJust take a stainless steel butter knife, poke the durian at the bottom and push in...the fruit will open like a flower. Must be a ripe one , of course. So easy to open.
ReplyDeletenanti the knife also bengkok. LOL...better let the seller do it. That way can also check the quality of the durian. If not ripe or have worms they will change it for us on the spot instead of wasting energy bring home the feel disappointed pulak
DeleteNever open durian in my life before.. Now most sellers open for you, and you just provide your container.. But if those RM10 for 6 those type, dunno, maybe no open for us kot..
ReplyDeleteyou so lucky ah...got hubby open durian for you
DeleteMy kids dont take durian. Small kucing can eat!
ReplyDeleteaiysay...maybe when they get older they will eat

DeleteWell if there is puking on the table I don't want to watch it! I would like to try the fruit though!
ReplyDeleteYes there is puking on the table.
DeleteI have never eaten a durian, but all the westerners I know HATE the taste and smell of it. Now I'm really curious to try it too.
ReplyDeletedo try it. maybe you will like it
Deleteoh I just writing a post about durian too
ReplyDeleteI like durian....but when I'm kid, i don't like it
so my taste bud change when aging hahaha
so hmm those who like durian will like it tightly
those who dislike it, will get rid of it from far away
yes I agree with your point of view, if don't like just don't take it
no points of puking out later...wasting
some may develope a taste for durian when they are older
Deletewah.. the durians so laku until Mamarazzi cannot even find one!! maybe the SS2 Prince Durian too good business already, so he borong all durians nationwide in order to cope with his staggering sales, hahaha!! luckily still can find one stall, and so good lah the service.. kopek for you and then masuk into a container.. so more easy and convenient leh~~ :)
ReplyDeletemaybe hor...never thought of that. LOL
Deleteoh this can be opened by hand without using knife or anything? I always thought this fruit has a hard shell and opening it requires lot of efforts... your kiddo seems to enjoy this treat hehe.. you can clearly see it on his face
ReplyDeleteno lah...the vendor already helped by opening bit at the bottom. hence it's easier to open by hand
Deletefuyoh, so pandai lah Small Kucing.. while other kucings are just eating their friskies, this Small Kucing already trained to kopek durians and then savor them before Paparazzi and Mamarazzi could reach them.. eih, want to become future Prince Durian of Malaysia?? then have to makan more and gym more already.. and Mamarazzi must prepare to become his manager.. :p
ReplyDeleteMuhahaha....ya wor...berangan angan jadi Durian Prince
Deleteerrr, can i say "No, thank you" even if Mamarazzi and Small Kucing are not offering me any durians?? actually Uncle SK still okay lah, won't like hate durians that badly, just that he doesn't eat and doesn't like the smell.. unlike some people, see durians like see ghost like that, Uncle SK is okay if got people eating durians around but don't lah make until the whole place is a mess and too "stinky" lah.. :)
ReplyDeleteNo thank you tak apa as long as dont make puking face at the table ya
