Penang Road Famous Teo Chew Chendul , Paradigm Mall (revisited)

Ever since I had Cendol marathon with Papa in Melaka, I become crazy about Cendul. The ither day I went to Paradigm Mall with Mamarazzi, she asked me what I wanted to eat and immediately  I told her Cendol.

But she said it's  not "food"...but in the end she did ordered me a bowl of cendul lah.

For herself, she ordered this bowl of Penang Curry Laksa instead of their famous Asam Laksa .

Feels kinda weird as it looked so white. I thought not spicy la so I asked for some to eat lor....

Alamak!!!! Beee boo bee boo....Spicy lah....

But as usual..where thereis a wil thee is a way....I ate it with my cendul...nice....not spicy liao.

Mamarazzi laughed at me . She said lucky tarak lausai (diarrhoea ) after eating curry laksa this way.

Conclusion.....the curry laksa can eat la..... wanna try eating it my way?

  2. When I was in Form 5, I always walked past this stall at Penang Road on my way home. The days were always hot and their chendol was yummy. I tried their franchise outlets in KL and found that eating inside air-cond had some difference. Maybe I should carry the bowl outside the mall and eat under the sun.

  3. I would dare say that the water in Penang always tasted delicious like Spritzler's mineral water that made their food taste a bit different. When the famous ABC stall went to Adelaide every year to promote the Penang Week, they carted the plain water all the way there to make ice cubes!!!

  4. Your bowl of cendul looks so nice and yummy, lots of cendul and red beans. I still prefer the assam laksa and red curry laksa. Like you said, I find it a bit weird eating white curry laksa.
(Kathy, the white fairy lily is waiting for you to pick up any time you are in Ipoh).
