The Best Nasi Lemak in Sri Petaling

Last Saturday Papa and Mamarazzi had something to do in Sri Petaling. It has been a long time since they went there in the morning.

Wah....now morning pasar have moved to the former empty lot opposite The Store.

Drove by to "jenguk" see if Mamarazzi's favourite Nasi Lemak stall still around or not. Was very happy to see that it's still around. More than 10 years in business liao. Situated opposite of Restaurant Lucky.  Near Jalan Radin tengah.

What makes this stall special? Not only the rice and sambal tasted just right for Mamarazzi but it's also "buffet" style. The Lady Boss will give customer a packet of nasi lemak in a container, just like what the man on the left side of the photo is holding, and customer can scoop anything they wanted into the packet.

Peanuts, bilis(Anchovies), hard boiled eggs, cucumber and whatever condiments that goes with Nasi Lemak...you can scoop as much as you can.

They also have several great dishes that goes well with the Nasi Lemak....beef rendang, chicken rendang, sambak chicken, fried chicken, sotong, sambal petai, kerang and a few more. But.....must arrive early or else all would have been snapped up.

Mamarazzi arrived around 10.30am. By then...nothing much was left. Managed to get last scoop of Sambal petai to go with her nasi lemak. And that was a very very large scoop. *muhahaha*...sayang mah....scoop all la. Not much left what ....

Papa's one is with added rice. Got the last piece of Chicken wings . Though full of sambal but it was not that spicy. Just nice for Papa.

Who can guess how much for these two packets of Nasi Lemak?

Oh ya....a so a big Thank You To Uncle Arthur for the early Christmas pressie. Poslaju arrive Thursday morning but we were not home. Hnmmm....must be they know Uncle Arthur barang hence the send over in the morning. Normally Poslaju will come our place in the evening leh.

Went and collected on Friday. Hehehe.........one item missing.... don't panic Uncle Arthur....I snapped it up before Mamarazzi managed to snap photo.

Thank you very much Uncle Arthur. Wah...your Birthday terbalik you send gifts pulak. Happy Belated Birthday!

  2. Thanks for the birthday greeting! Glad the poslaju was really laju - I sent in the afternoon the previous day and it got there in the morning, less than 24 hours. So good! They must be so scared I would go to their Facebook page and scold and scold, curse and swear at their ancestors...and send a string of emails to their HQ.

Nasi lemak looks so good. Next time we go places like this, can? Cheaper, I'm sure...and a lot lot lot nicer!

  8. LIKE!!! "buffet" style and can take as much condiments and dishes as we like, good in the way we can customize the nasi according to our own taste, no need tell makcik want this don't want that more this less that, and then make the situation kelam kabut, agree??
