Recently Disney Junior Launches a new website "Pirate and Princess: Power of Doing Good"(URL: www.disneyjuniorpowerofdoinggood.com)
This campaign hope to introduce kids aged 2-7 to the idea and values of caring for
nature, animals, and helping others. It encourage
preschoolers to participate in acts of service to community in a fun way.
Yes, it's online Parents will have to help the child to login and choose with them which activity they wanted to do . Then print out the activities sheets. Have fun and later upload the photos online.
As you know, nagging kids to clean up nor "talking" to them about the power of doing good will not stick on their mind for long. But through the power of stories
and characters, hopefully it will inspire kids to imagine a better world. And through the simple acts of caring for their surroundings and their
community, hopefully kids will realise that they have the potential to make a positive change in the world
they live in.
The Power of Doing Good campaign on Disney Junior gives kids and family to do just that through their activities online and offline.
Popular Disney Junior characters
Jake (from Jake and the Never Land Pirates) and Sofia (from Sofia
the First) will take the kids on a journey of personal empowerment
through the ‘Power of doing good’ campaign.
How can you participate? Here are the steps: -
2) Activities are themed around four key areas -
Community, Animals, Nature and Storytelling.
Online badges and certificates are simple rewards to encourage kids to complete all activity sheets and learn the ethos of doing good.
3)In addition, there will be opportunities for kids and families to create “power promises” online- a simple promise to do something good for the world they live in.
Sounds good? I am all in for it. Last Sunday was in JayaOne for the Sun Day Out Indoor Cycling. Saw someone threw candy wrapper on the floor and I pick it up . Threw it in to the rubbish bin. Santa saw me doing that and he gave some candies for that,
Yes, lets join together to do good!
