Choong Kee Kampar Claypot Chicken Rice, Damansara Jaya

Another basi(stale) post. Went to Damansara Jaya one of the days as Papa had something to do there. Hmm.... Lunch hour liao. Don't know where to eat. Saw this Claypot Chicken Rice Shop. Mamarazzi said since long time haven't have Claypot Chicken Rice so try out la this shop.
From the menu....hmm...what to choose ah.... By the way...this is before the GST ...now price may not be the same anymore.

In the end we choose the one with salted  fish and Chinese sausages la. Taste wise, for Mamarazzi okay la. Taste average but they were quite generous with the salted fish.

Love Claypot rice that have salted fish. add to the flavour.

Ordered the peanuts soup too. Must have been boiled very long as the peanuts was soft. Just nice. Kinda hard to get.

Here is the address of the shop : -

Healthy Smoothies with NuStevia Simple Syrup.

Lately Papa have been gila babi crazy about pork and other meat. Must have been eating too much meat and started to have these headaches.

Coincidentally, Mamarazzi saw a member of the gardening group posted about making smoothies out of herbs in the garden for good health. She was apprehensive at first coz mixing so many types of herbs...drink liao won't lausai meh?(Lausai : diarrhoea ). The member said no lausai so far.

Mamarazzi don't have much. Just some Aloe Vera, Daun kadok(betel leaf), mint leaves, java ginseng, pegaga(Pennywort), Ulam raja (Cosmos caudatus), basil and indian Borage.

Wokay.....just hentam . Throw in some ice and start to blend. First time, Papa drink this...he said it have a too "green" taste which he not fond off.

Second time making this, Mamarazzi added NuStevia Simple Syrup. Taste much nicer. Make it easier to drink.

At least it's much cheaper and healthier than buying fruit juice to drink.

As me to drink? Errrr.....me so young no need gua? No hyper tension, diabetes and etc wor......

Maharani Chicken Rice Restaurant (Revisited) in Klang

Sorry ya. I have been doing the missing in action act a lot this year. This time what reason ah? Ahem....tuition punya pasal lo. Kena Cikgu complain...same old same old thing la. Gotta re-do bring home and re-do all the work from Jan to current work lo last weekend. Plus kena grounded some leh. Do till midnight also cannot finish.

Mamarazzi also "pening"(dizzy) when she say the Maths that we were doing. What??? Standard 1 Maths. This was work done in JANUARY. What happened to writing number 1,2,3 in the boxes or learning 1+1 +2.

Wah lau eh...January work already so "deep". Not even one month of schooling...*Faint again*

After being "tied" to my study table from Saturday to Sunday...at 7pm Sunday evening, I finally completed all the correction and re-wrote all the works that have ugly writing

Can "makan besar' liao.I was "zombiefied" and so was Mamarazzi. Wokay...just makan Chicken rice la in Klang.

Ordered whole loads of food.

There was this Taugeh(Bean sprouts). A bit too much pepper.

But their steam chicken was delicious. Tender and juicy.

For me, I wanted this braised eggs.

Mamarazzi wanted Kerabu Kaki Ayam . It's the skin of chicken feet cooked , then chilled and mixed with Thai Chili Sauce. Very appetising.

This round she persuaded me to have some.

Before that, I "rinse" it in the soup. I don't like spicy chili leh. Hmm...taste nice. Crunchy.

What is wrong with Papa and Mamarazzi ah? Gila Chicken feet pulak that day. Papa ordered Braised Chicken feet with peanuts.

That's my television starved look. Chinese News is on the Tv also hentam la. As log as it's TV. Been "starving" liao. My Tv day is Saturday but being grounded....cannot watch....

Now multitasking lor....after eating Braised Cane with pork..eat pulak Braised Chicken Feet while stealing to watch TV.

No worries....I still know how to spit out the bones.

Hopefully this weekend no need to do any more correction la or else......

Restoran Hoo Bee , Bandar Bukit Tinggi

People says there are loads of things to eat at Bandar Bukit Tinggi (the one in Klang ya)...so one night after visiting a friend..we went food hunting there.

Indeed, every corner you turn there is a restaurant.  Okay lah...since we don't know which one is good so we tembak this one la.

I wanted to have Wantan Mee.

Not bad wor...hmm.... the noodles not like the usual wantan mee. seems to be a bit thicker and bouncier.

Papa also kaypoh ..he saw mine ...he also want but his was the dry version of it.

Not enough...ordered a Char Keoy Teow. Okay la...have a lot of Taugeh.

But Mamarazzi said hers was the best. Pan Mee with loads of Sayur Manis/Cekur Manis. She loves Pan Mee with this vegetable instead of Sawi.

It was good that the lady boss put the crunchy Ikan Bilis separately for her coz she don't like soggy type. Said the Cili manyak syok oh....

Porridge and Noodles at Jeff Lee Kitchen and Panjang Hokkien Mee. Sungai Buloh

Not long after Chinese New Year, Mamarazzi was coughing her lungs out. Didn't feel like wanna eat anything.

Thought of just simple porridge will do la. But evening where to find porridge leh? Think think think...aha...Jeff Kitchen.... Off we went.

Hey...not bad wor..Ordered their mixed pork porridge. Quite a lot of meat in the bottom of the claypot. If not mistaken it was RM6 per person.

I wanted to have Hokkien Mee but they say that day they don't have Hokkien Mee . Instead Papa ordered this minced pork noodles for me la.

Loaded with minced meat lots of lards.

Hmmm....still..... I want my hokkien mee leh.......

Didn't eat much of this.

When we were turning out of the village, Mamarazzi spotted this sign opposite the Chinese School . Hey! Got Hokkien Mee leh....

No Name/Name unknown Bak Kut Teh, Kepong

Mamarazzi nearly forgotten about this place. Was reminded about it when she saw in Facebook this morning that one hypermarket made a typo mistaken in they ads. They wanted to say "Fork & spoon" on sale and encourage people to buy before GST sets in but they wrote "Pork & Spoon".

These few days saw in media that everyone are rushing to hypermarket / supermarket/ shops and what-not to stock up before the GST. GST or not...life goes on. Scream also felt so useless.

Anyway, back to the pork....

While we were in KT, her fiends friends Pete and Cikgu Lau posted how much they enjoyed Bak-kut-teh ....

Aiyo...got friends like these no need enemy liao. *LOL* Anyway, once, we set foot back in town....again dunno what o eat....on the way home got pass by Kepong ma...Kepong also famous for Bak-kut-teh punya....so stop there to have Bak-kut-teh loh. But too bad the one that Mamarazzi like, Kaka Bak Kut Teh was not open that night. Stop by the roadside and had bak-kut-teh.

Errr...dunno what's the name of this stall. No name noted there

Ordered some vegetables

And also Yau Char Gwai to dip into the BKT soup

The BKT did not suit Mamarazzi taste coz it doesn't have much of herbal taste. Quite mild and the soup was quite clear as per the photo.

This certainly will suit those who doesn't like strong herbal taste.

But the bonus point was that they have this delicious braised Chicken Feet. Done just nice. . Slurps....

Sorry ya///can't give you direction to this stall coz tarak know the name but it's along the main road la.
