Family Trip to Sekinchan(Part 2...gua)


 
 Sorry sorry....dunno what happened to Mamarazzi... yesterday supposed to post up about Sekinchan but dunno why turn out to be Fatty Crab pulak.... Old liao....nyanyuk liao.

Well...after going to the temple, we went to the rice factory....it's just a corner away from the temple. I wanted to go for the tour again but Mamarazzi said I have been in the tour twice already. No need to go la. Just walk around the sales gallery....didn't buy any rice coz still have stock. Bought Ice-Cream and a Sweet Corn


 Meanwhile, Mamarazzi walk to the stall opposite the road. Wah ...lucky wor.....this round finally managed to see "mango king"/ Gosh! The mangoes were thicker than her arms and nearly as long. She wanted to snap photo to show how long and big the mangoes are but she dare not hold it. Worried that they may fell as itr was quite heavy.


 The lady boss very clever leh. She said much easier to put on the scale. Wah lau eh....2kg dei....The big size ones are being sold at RM8 per kg while the smaller size from the same species are sold at RM10 for 3kg.

The boy who helped her select the mangoes said it's home grown. No pesticide. Hmmm.....looks like the boy was speaking the truth....discovered it when we came home.

Taste of the mangoes was quite sweet. Since we bought mangoes already from here, we didn't venture all the way in...to the proper Mango King Stall.


 Instead, Papa said bring Ah Mah to Ah Mah's house... my Ah Mah was puzzle what is that and why we kept saying Ah Mah's house.

Hey,.... something new....right outside Ah Mah's house, there were a couple making and selling Kuih Kapit(Love letters) . Very good team work... The man pour the batter.... the woman "jaga" the fire and using only one hand she expertly folded the "love letter" . The helper then arranged them into the container. RM28 per containers of 100pieces. Worth it or not? Well, considering all the work that needed to be done...think it definitely worth it la.


 Ventured into Ah Mah's house and Mamarazzi noticed these. The candies that she used to eat when she was a kid.

Do you remember these? The sour plums..the white rabbit candie...the eggy....the bubble gums...and etc.

Mamarazzi bought the Bubble gums for me said can blow bubble ones but then when I tried...tak jadi pulak....sobs sobs... By the way...I love the Sarsi Lolipop

Papa pulak was fascinated by the lenglui candy floss. This lenglui very pandai make candy floss into varuios shapes leh...got flowers....got duckie and etc...but the price also reflective of her skill la oh..RM6 for a simple design while the duckie was RM10. Cool.

All these really makes me hungry leh... Lucky got the sweet corn that Mamarazzi bought earlier...Next stop....of course la cari makan(again).

    Mmmmm.....the corn looks delicious! Here in Quebec we have sometimes the two coloured corn (yellow and white), and it is plump, juicy, sweet and delicious! :)

      The corn was okay...would be nicer if they added salt and butter. Oh we have those 2 colors corn too.

    I am very fascinated by the huge mango. Sure takes more than one sitting to finish one mango (for one person lah).

    why need to apologize leh?? it's up to Mamarazzi to post whatever she likes mah, travelogue also can take a break and have some posts of other topics in between mah.. if Mamarazzi didn't mention, all aunties and uncles probably didn't notice that also leh, hehe~~

    ooopss, Uncle SK's CB mouth very accurate, he already mentioned Mamarazzi sure go to the rice factory, just that this time Mamarazzi didn't borong any rice only.. but she found the Mango King this time, how lucky!! fuyoh, those are indeed very big mangoes leh, really an eye-opener!! 2kg per mango, amazing dei!! but how come the bigger one is cheaper per kg compared to the smaller ones ah??

      Look properly ...bigger ones not cheaper leh...Big RM8 per kg wor...small ones 3 kg for RM10 wor.... so 1 kg only rm3plus...

    haha, Ah Mah goes to Ah Mah's house!! so did Small Kucing ask Ah Mah whether she enjoys Ah Mah house or not?? looks like Mamarazzi enjoyed herself more leh, see those childhood snacks, almost cannot find over here in KL leh.. Uncle SK likes the sour plum, the eggy candy and the preserved olives leh, last time always like to buy, and then secretly hide away from mom, hahaha!! :D

    naughty Paparazzi go and kacau the candy floss jeh jeh.. haha, so just watch her making the candy floss without buying?? good for taking photos lah, but then if want to just eat probably will only get the normal ones without shape lor, those are like RM3?? Small Kucing got jagung to eat, wonder if that Jeh Jeh knows how to make a jagung shape candy floss or not?? :p

    I would want to buy the mangoes, not the giant ones but the smaller ones. I am too old to be eating those candies..hehehee.

    That mango is incredibly huge and long. Now I'm missing to eat mangoes. Long time no eat.
    It's not easy kuih kapit actually. Every year CNY I will help my mom to made and sometimes after an hour, also didn't manage to fully fill up a container.

    White rabbit sweets was my favourite sweet when I was a kid!

    Oh, the mango certainly is HUGE!

    I would love to eat a big mango. Hmm...come to think of it I think I saw it in my dear's fridge. Haha. Just like how the first picture looks very familiar. ;)

    Hmm...interesting, I remember the rabbit candy, and the "traffic light chewing gum" (banned by my mom when I was in primary school, but we have the same brand). I thought the "bird egg" (third photo, top right) is extinct already! I still remember how it tastes like.

      LOL....the ones Mamarazzi bought are smaller size ones. Uiks ...got instruction ka :p

      There was once the rabbit candy was banned. Yeah the chewing gum were sold in school canteen last time but now all banned liao. Wah...your memory is better than Mamarazzi's leh...she had forgotten how the bird eggs taste like
