New "Condominium " and Mooncakes

Two months no news. Hmmm....Mamarazzi getting super lazy.

Many moons ago, I was not feeling well . Ponteng school for a day. ( hope teacher didn't see this post). 

What did I do at home ? Of course not resting-lah. Am the type that cannot sit still. Guess teachers very happy that I didn't go to school gua.

Anyway, I helped Mamarazzi assembled two racks.

Way taller than me. Gotta climb up the stairs.

Taller than me , right? Ah...it's good to sweat out the fever. Felt way better after building this.

Bet Mamarazzi's plant felt much better too in their new "condominium".

As for Mamarazzi....she is busy baking these cute mooncakes now. Mooncakes festival coming soon. 

I Cooked "Big Tension" Fried Chicken Ala Korean Style

Steam Chicken, Baked Chicken, Roasted Chicken, Fried Chicken ...all bored already. What else to cook ar? Then Mamarazzi saw this Kdrama . They were eating fried chicken.  Recall pulak the famous KyoChon Chicken . That was so yummy. 

Asked Mr Google how to make. Found the recipe but don't have enough ingredients. Oh well, you know Mamarazzi. She would simply hentam whatever ingredients la. 

First time cooking this. Not bad la. I sapu clean the whole plate of chicken. So yummy.  

Posted in Facebook and my Uncle said  nice 大紧张 (big Tension) chicken. Was puzzled what is Big Tension Chicken. Then he said "Dakgangjeong" sound like Big Tension in Cantonese, *LOL* funny fella

Oh well, I like it so much that I requested Mamarazzi to make some more 大紧张 chicken next day. She asked me to cook it myself. She helped me to chop the chicken to small pieces and marinate it.

In the evening, I did the frying. Eeee.... scary process . Hmmm....need to ask Santa to send me suit of armor for Christmas. Oil splatter here and there leh. 

Making the sauce was easier . Not oil splatter but need to control the fire  or else the sauce gets burnt,

Jeng! Jeng! my 大紧张 Chicken. Hahaha.... a good name for it. Very tension leh all the frying.. If you run out of idea on what to cook, why not try this 大紧张 Chicken. Yum.

Big Bad Wolf Big Bad Box Sale 2017 @MIECC

It's BBW Books buffet time again! This is different from the normal book sales. Here we buy EMPTY BOX(ES) instead  of books. Then we just fill the box up with books at the sale and bring them home. No need to pay for the  books.

When Mamarazzi told me that, I thought she was joking. I kept asking her if she is sure we can walk out of the hall without paying for the  books.

On the first day of the sale she went alone and brought home 1 big box and 1 small box(family package RM160).

Managed to fit 31 books in the small box; which ain't a small feat. The small box have pretty odd measurement.

It was easier to pack the big box. Tada! 63 books in box.

Average around RM2 per book. Assuming each book priced at normal BBW price of RM8/book..we got a whopping RM752 worth of books! Minus the cost of RM160, petrol , toll and parking.. It's still a saving of RM500+.

Bear in mind, the books are leftover from last December sale, Jakarta sale and Bangkok sale. Surprisingly, most of the books were in very good condition; unlike previous years.

Thinking of crates and crates of those gorgeous books, Mamarazzi can't help herself and went for a second round last Thursday. I was pretty excited. Though she said we'll go in the evening where people are having dinner and breaking fast, I got ready at 10a.m!

Finally there. Happily shopping for books. Bumped into Uncle C who came all the way from Johor for this.

Unboxing ceremony! Can guess how many books we managed to squeeze in?

Tada!a total of 51 books. Less than the1st day but still pretty good. Less than RM2 per book.

No space wasted . *LOL*.  Yay! I can open "shop" liao! Come come Small Kucing Books Stall.

New Found Uses for Method All-Purposes Natural Surface Cleaner

 This year Mamarazzi having more headache with my school uniform related issues. We are using more ink in class as we have to write those Chinese writing (Calligraphy? ) in class. Also  Cikgu asked us to bring our own Whiteboard marker .

 My "new" sport uniform . To make it worse, I was afraid to tell Mamarazzi. I have hidden the uniform for a week before being discovered by Mamarazzi. She made me scrub and scrub till my skin come out and yet the ink spot remains.

She said if the stain cannot come out, I will still have to wear this T-shirt to school . Let teacher scold me.

Mamarazzi also tried soaking over night and scrubbed. Still the same. Used alcohol and dunno what still remains.

Then Papa suggested why not try Method. Papa lies Method. Everything he also spray with Method.

 Oh well... nothing to loose. Sprayed some Method All Purpose Natural Surface Cleaner and scrubbed. Hey! what do you know. The stains getting lighter,

 After a lot of scrubbing. Stain is much lighter. Mamarazzi said if discovered the stain much earlier, maybe the result can be better.  Well, at least the stains are not that obvious now. Can still wear this T-shirt to school.

Mamarazzi was quite pleased and itchy hand . Posted the pic in Method Malaysia Facebook. Guess what? They were pleased too . They contacted Mamarazzi and offered her their new product.

 Yup... a few days later a parcel came for me.

 Oh ya.... just heard from my ex-teacher that a kid got HMFD . So better wash hand more often.

Birthday Treat and Closing Down of Tora Aman

 Last month was Mamarazzi's birthday.  We went out for big makan at Big Baba in Taman Desa. Paiseh paiseh.... made a big dent in Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick pocket. Food was good  but the price was ahem ahem....Well, think of it this way...if go all the way to Malacca  Melaka(oppss...big boss say now have to use Melaka instead of Malacca) , the toll and petrol will be more or less that price already leh.

Thank you very much to Uncle Patrick and Auntie Florence for the lovely treat. Some more Mamarazzi got the drink that she was missing....3 Layer Tea!. The best still at Muhibbah Food Court. That one drink like better than coffee. Can stay awake whole night reading.

 Speaking of reading..... I think older generation like Mamarazzi going to miss reading Doraemon and Detective Conan comics lor. Personally, am not really fond of them but Mamarazzi kept trying to get me to read them in Chinese and Bahasa malaysia. 

Mamarazzi saw in Facebook that the Malaysian publisher of the comic is closing down and they are holding a clearance sale. Only RM2 a book .

Mamarazzi was keen on going ...that is till she read in Facebook that the opening days and operating hours of the sale is quite a "challenge". Sometimes open. Sometimes not open and the sale had commenced before the announced date.

Then on 17th April they announced no more stock. Haiz.... such disappointment.

But later on, they announced that the factory will still be open. Looks like they still have some leftover stock.


Oh well, after the big makan, we had nothing much to do. Need to waste  few hours before my tuition. Hence, we dropped by the factory to check it out.

Yup... nothing much left for Bahasa Malaysia comic (yay), but also no more English Comic(sobs). Super boohoo for me is that they have load of CHINESE comic left. YIKES!

She managed to get some Bahasa comic for me and a few colored Chinese comic for me. Mamarazzi said these will be collector's item in a few years. Must take care of them nicely. 

Hmm.... like that ah.... I can put them in cold storage in the library la. If I don't touch them, they won't get dirty or spoilt , right? (wink wink)

Anyway, if you are looking for Chinese Doraemon comic, you can search Tora Aman Facebook. It seems that they are still accepting online order via Whatsapps. Saw there are many Personal Shopper service listed there too. 

Guess what is blooming in the garden now. Lovely ain't she?

Bukit Jelutong Plant Exchange #5

 

 The night before the Bukit Jelutong Plant Exchange, Papa got us two tickets to watch the Starwars One Man show.  I laughed a lot at the first part but the rest were lost to me . You need to know the movies well to understand the scenes that were being play out.

Came home quite late and Mamarazzi quickly kick my butt ask me to go to bed.

 The next morning, "7 early 8 early" (Chinese saying which means super early in the morning) , Mamarazzi loaded the car with boxes and boxes of plants that stinks. 

It was raining. We arrived before 7 o'clock. started to set up the plants on the tables provided by the Bukit Jelutong Green Rangers.

 Hungry dei..... Mamarazzi was busy so she gave me 10 bucks to go eat noodles at the  mamak Restaurant nearby.

 Tummy full liao. Time to set up my business. 

Many people come for the BJPE. Errr...but not many came my stall leh. Mamarazzi said I didn't go and market my products . That's why nobody came.

 End up , Mamarazzi took over the registration and Papa took over the stall. Me? I "took over " the book exchange reading Archies.

Yup, this is the inaugural Bukit Jelutong BOOK EXCHANGE. People can come and pick up a book and donate books. Hope there will be more people who will donate books next round. Not many know about this yet. Can be said that  I was one of their first "reader".

 AIyo,,,tiring leh.... konk-out on the way home. 

We went there with boxes of plant and came home with boxes of plants too. 

 Interesting to note. one contributed made quite a number of these mini garden in a cup for the visitors. So cute !

 Honey Lime business was not good. We had barter system pulak with our neighbour stall which happens to be the famous SuChan Cakes!

 Mamarazzi said one for me , one for her. But before she can finish hers, i "helped" her finished it. It was DELICIOUS! It was Durian-misu cake made of real D24 durian. There! can you see the thick layer of durian flesh under the cream?

This round, contributors were very generous. They brought loads of plants. Hence there were plenty to go around. Mamarazzi even managed to get a box of plant for Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick.

Oh what fun it was. We are now looking forward to the next one. Heard it will be in another 3-4 months time. Thank you to BJ Green Ranger for arranging this fun event.

I Will Be A "Businessman" at BJPE#5

Am very excited . Tomorrow is the day! I have ever love to go for Bukit Jelutong Plant Exchange coz I can play meet a lot of people there. At the previous exchange I kacau/disturb was very curious to see people selling stuffs there. Love the Lemonade booth. The lady belanja me drink lemonade. 

This round I am even more excited coz I was Mamarazzi was offered a chance to operate a stall there. Mamarazzi said I will be in charge of the stall to earn money for my school trip . 

Mamarazzi is donating 10 bottles of Homemade Honey Lime for me to sell. Limited edition you know. She don't make much each time. First come first served. 

I will also be selling dried Misai Kucing leaves. It's good  for diabetes.  Mamarazzi was drying them for Papa but donated some for me to sell. 

She managed to dry some Bunga Telang(Blue Pea flowers) .  Wah lau eh... these not only can be used as colouring for Nyonya Kuih but also can make into Minion drinks leh. Google search mentioned about it being a powerful antioxidant and stronger the Vitamin E. Errr.... don't really understand what it is all about but means good gua... Cute to see the drink changes color from blue to purple when add Lemon juice into it. 

 Yesterday Mamarazzi busy labelling the plants to be donated out. 

 This round pretty easy to label as most of it are in baskets. Arranged nicely. Tomorrow will just need to put into the car and bring there.

For me pulak...I was pretty excited last night. refused to sleep. Want to make signboard and price list for my "products" . Tonight come home must ask Papa to print out for me. 

 So.... those who are around Bukit Jelutong area do drop by BJPE ya. Pick up some free  plants and maybe buy some of my stuffs.

Rules of plants exchange

1. Plants MUST be labeled so that the new owner knows what it is. PLS register with Wee Kean/Sue when u arrive to collect yr contributor's card. 

2. Recycle. Pls bring yr own bag to carry yr plants home.

3. Contributors will be given the priority to select over those who did not contribute

4. First come, first served. We will call by batches. Pls don't take more than 1 plant of the same variety. Give others a chance too.

5. For each round of selection, you may select based on the following (you may go many rounds, it’s up to you)

1-5plants brought – you may select 2 per round

5-10 plants brought – you may select 4 per round

Above 10 plant brought – you may select 6 per round

6. People who didnt bring plants are welcome to adopt too. The plants will be open to all once the contributors selected the 2nd round.
