Braised Pork Bihun ~ The Lazy Way.

Mamarazzi was feeling lazy again.....dig dig in the fridge...found some vegetable turning yellow....hmm....fry bihun for dinner la...

Fast fast chopped some onions......Hmm.....freezer no more chicken or pork...no meat how ah...

Dug in the cabinet...found a can of pork slices with Perserved Vegetable...She recalled someone blogged about Braised Pork Bihun...


Hmm...maybe will work la...

Soak a packet of Bihun.

Opened the can of meat...There was around 3-4 slices of meat in it with a lot of preserved vegetables. 

But surprisingly taste good wor.....no need to add anymore salt when frying the bihun coz it's salty enough already.

Yums.....

Mamarazzi said she will be "lazy" more often lor.

Magic Sticker From BBWS

 

Mamarazzi bought a lot of stickers from BBWS. So cheap leh...RM5 for 10 stickers then it dropped lower RM10 for 30 stickers. 

She said borong a lot can give to my friends for their birthday la. Cheapskate but then in kiddie only mah...Give stickers kids will be happy enough liao la

 

Mamarazzi said she bought Magic Sticker for me. 

First have to cut out the picture that I want. I want the bus

I wanna make a card. Mamarazzi said put on a piece of paper first. 

Then use the "pencil" provided and scratch it and the "bus" will be transferred onto the paper.

Alamak....need to press hard leh...aku kasi penumbuk can ah? Kabish!

Okay.....nice.....hmm...can cut and make my card lo....Fun leh to see the "bus" moved from one paper to another.

Mamarazzi said when she was young, they had something like this too

Basil Thai Nudle Bar @ Bangsar Village

Nope...This is not a post about Basil over-running the garden. 

Was in Bangsar to collect medicine for Ah Kong and Ah Mah from the hospital. Came just after my Saturday class leh.

Me hungry leh...Have not had breakfast. Adoi...parking around Bangsar area very headache leh.......Mamarazzi also pening liao....so said go Bangsar Village la.At least got parking mah.

Where and what to eat? Come in from the parking saw this restaurant...okay tembak la.

Papa was not hungry so he had their Iced Water crestnut with Coconutmilk and jack fruit - RM8.90

Mamarazzi saw the price was not hungry. Chinese Tea enough la RM3.50.

Me ...I want their Phad  Thai Flat Noodle. RM16.90.

Looks good. 

Alamak...eksyen too much...

Noodle splatter onto my nose.

Piak! Nose eat first......Noodle taste not bad leh. I told them NO CILI and the listened. Yup...no chili. Me likey!

Lemon Rice at Curry Leaf Restaurant , Damansara Utama

 

Went met up with Mamarazzi's friend, Green Tiger . They just came back from Legoland. Fuiyoh...she borong some nice things for me leh. There's even a Lego Lunchbox. 

 After meet up, we went elsewhere. That night lazy to cook lo. So round and round cari makan la

Lembik liao......hungry...no more energy. But Mamarazzi said she not that hungry yet leh. Round round...Papa felt like having something spicy.

Wokay ...go eat Banana Leaf Rice la at the Curry Leaf Restaurant.

Saw the Chicken looks good. Papa ordered a plate of that. 

While waiting for our food, I sibuk wanna "selfie" pulak. Asked Mamarazzi to snap photos. 

Quite a lot of people eating there. Drinks took some time to arrive but they sure thirst quenching leh.

The thing about this shop is most food are spicy. How ah....Mamarazzi said order Lemon Rice la. Last time we had Lemon Rice once in Chat Masala in brickfields and it tasted good.

Alamak ....so much rice leh..really cannot finish leh even if shared with Mamarazzi.

Papa pulak tarak help coz he enjoying his banana Leaf Rice. 

For me...the Lemon Rice taste ok la. But I like the "keropok" more. 

New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice, Bandar Puteri Puchong

Last month we were in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Meeting up a friend then decided to have a late lunch together.

In the beginning, wanna have Chilli Pan Mee in Bandar Puteri Puchong but entah why the Pan Mee shop same row as Public Bank have gone missing. What happen? Why eateries around this area kept mushrooming and disappearing after some time?

Round a bit saw a new shop.....Chicken Rice Shop. Okay okay...change of plan...eat chicken rice la.

Ordered their Roast Pork....mm...crunchy skin.... nice. 

Of all the dishes...this Taugeh gets the most attention. Fat and round. Sweet and crunchy. 

Some meat balls. Not bad. 

Ordered steamed Chicken. Meat was tender. Love the ginger toppings. 

 

 Boing!!!! Mamarazzi ordered Lime juice for me pulak....she forgotten that I had a big ulcer coz I "pokai" just before we came out of the house. Bleed a lot but I never cry leh....just sat on the sofa making mewing sound. 

Wah...that lime juice stung my lips leh..... 

See my "butterfly"..Errr....don't worry la....now recovered already....

Can be 白马王子 again *perasan mode* 

 

Oh ya....back to the Chicken Rice shop. It seems that it is a new shop. Mamarazzi didn't really notice the address but when she google, she found that there is one Ipoh Chicken Rice Shop listed near Citibank Bandar Puteri Puchongbut it had closed down.

She suspected that shop have moved to this premises. Now it's at corner lot shop locate at the junction between Jalan Puteri 2/2 and Jalan Puteri 2/7. You know Ho Ho steamboat? Same row....at the very end.

My Butterfly ~

Surprised? If people say Butterfly  bet many will associate it with Butterfly flying from flower to flower.

What's all these pots and pans with glutinous rice and what not.....

Mak oi.....salted egg yolk, mushrooms , scallop....buah berangan and beans...... ?

Why title Butterfly but Bak Chang post pulak...Mamarazzi gone crazy? 

Nah...Not gone crazy la...It's actually about Mamarazzi's new pot... *NOT PAID POST*. 

Earlier this month Papa bought a new Butterfly brand Pressure cooker for Mamarazzi. So far she had used it for making steamed herbal Chicken. Mmm....nice...all the goodness of chicken in there...

Then her hands also very itchy wanna try out to make Bak Chang using this. Heard people said it cuts the cooking time by more than half. 

Usual boiling time for Bak Chang are 2.5 hours to 3 hours depending on size of the Bak Chang. 

This round Mamarazzi boiled for 1 hour and the Bak Chang were just nice. Tried 45 mins, ingredients was cooked but not melt in the mouth type. Guess, Mamarazzi will stick to the 1 hour boiling time la.

So far she is loving her new Butterfly Pressure Cooker very much and as for me.....am loving eating the Bak Chang lo.

At first Mamarazzi thought that was all....but when I came back from school I found this Agent  OSO card in the mailbox.

Mamarazzi said not Agent OSO la and asked Uncle TM. He said it's Kumamon. It's a mascot by the government of Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.

 

 Gosh...postcard all the way from Japan and I am one of the lucky recipients. 

 Got this funny chop at the side of the postcard. Heard from Auntie Lina that they have this unique thingy where you can get "chop" from the train station . Kinda like a memento for tourist... chop chop at the train station to show that you have been there.

It would be nice if we can have it here too...chop chop Twin tower...chop chop batu caves KTM...chop chop Port Klang... don't you agree that it would be nice?

 Thank you to Lina for sending Berry Bright again. The first batch which she sent in December had gone missing.

This batch nearly gone missing too as when we received it, the envelope has been opened by person unknow. Fuiyoh....looks like everyone wants a piece of Berry Bright ya...

 And thank you to Rose for this lovely keychain. She had also sent us some sweets. Those sweet have been long gone but this lovely keychain remains. Thank you for your thinking of us even when you are on holiday, Rose.
