Horse Riding at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur

It was a spurn of the moment thingy. Mamarazzi was chatting with Auntie Little Bird then some how this horse riding thingy came up.

Then Mamarazzi had an idea. Let's go horse riding at Titiwangsa and maybe picnic later. Kebetulan Auntie Chee Yee came online. Roped her in. Yeehar!!!.

We arrived Taman Tasik Titiwangsa around 8.30am. Wow..many people there doing morning exercise. Finally found a parking lot.

No parking near the stables. Had to walk quite a bit to the stables but since it's still early it was not that hot.

Looks like I am on the correct path. Saw some carriages being washed and clean.

Horses just "woke up" . Some are being bath and groomed.

Wah Lau Eh...so early so many "paparazzi" already?

 Hmm....where are you going?

Ooo...getting ready to "start work" ah?

Papa bought some tickets for us.

Bye bye...off we go. First round, the horse must have had V-Power Hay coz it went very fast. Didn't get to enjoy much of the ride before it ended.

The second round was better. The horse was on a slower pace. The Indian Uncle offer me to sit next to him and hold the rein but I was rather scared. I want to sit with Mamarazzi.

I saw Auntie Little Bird drove a carriage. Fuiyo!....must run far far away. Scary man! If she was a male in the old days, surely she was a Cowboy. Ganas!

I rather roam around instead of carriage riding la.

Then Auntie Little Bird brought us to feed the horses.

She brought along some carrots. The people there know her. Hence they don't mind us feeding the horses.

Patches oh Patches(real name Meranti)...are you full full already? Can I have a ride on you back?

Errrrr...rather scare scare lah....Mamarazzi, you'll be riding with me, right? Ehhhh....where you going? ....

Me riding alone ah? Rather scary at first.

This is the 1st round.

By the second round, I was no longer afraid. I can even send a "Senyum Kambing" to Papa who is holding the camera. This is fun.

Mamarazzi's Humpty Dumpty Dumplings

Mamarazzi read STP's post on dumpling and can't help drooling over that post. It's just so hard to find nice dumplings out there and it's very expensive too.

That's why Mamarazzi dragged Papa and me up one fine morning to go pasar to hunt for the ingredients for the dumplings.

Haiyo! This Mamarazzi really teruk. She bought everything EXCEPT the most important thing of all..Can you guess what it was? The Dumpling SKIN. *pengsan*

Got some minced meat and chunks of prawns

Chopped mushroom, shredded carrot, water crest nuts and  "smelly leaves"(Corianders)

Some shredded black fungus. Put everything together. Add a bit of salt and cornflour. Mix well.

 And wrap it all up.

Throw into boiling water for awhile. Take out and put into boiled soup and it's ready to eat.

Papa said the dumpling taste okay but the soup not nice as its from those cubes. Looks like back to the drawing board.

Hmmm...how much do you think Mamarazzi can charge for these dumplings if Mamarazzi successfully make the soup and if she were to open stall?

The Children's Life of Christ-The Tale of The Sower by Enid Byton

Have you wondered how plants grow? Some come from seeds, that was what I learnt from Enid Blyton's book.

Mamarazzi told me that there was a nice parables which Jesus told to the folks. According to him there was once a Sower who went forth to sow seed. He scattered them by hand. Some here and some there.

Some of the seed fell on stony ground but these seed could not grow because they have no earth to put their root in.

Some fell among the weeds. These seeds grew but soon got choke out by the weeds.

Some fell into fertile ground and they sent out root and grew. They grew tall and strong and bear corns which made the Sower very happy.

The disciples does not understand at first till Jesus explained. God's words goes out all over the world just like the seeds being scattered here and there.

Some people heard God's words but take no notice or they people listened and heed for awhile but when difficulties comes they soon forgot. Just like seeds that fell onto stony ground.

There are some people whose heart is full of evil where good cant grow. Just like those seeds that grew on the field full of weeds.

And finally there are those people who listened to God's words. Just like those seeds that fell onto fertile grounds.

Now the people understood what Jesus was saying.

What type of seeds are you? Mamarazzi sometimes felt that she is like seeds that fell onto stony ground. Let's hope some wind or animal would come and roll her onto fertile ground soon.

Oh ya...thank you for all your concern on my wound. It's healing properly. See...Mamarazzi let me "colour" the wound all by myself.

Have a terrific Sunday everyone!

Mamarazzi's Paku Pakis Cold Dish

Still remember Mamarazzi post on the Paku Vege at LYJ?

That dish was really delicious hence Mamarazzi tried to duplicate that. She went and bought a big bundle of Paku Pakis Vegetable from the market for RM1. Plucked and washed the young fern.

Supposed to use Lime but Mamarazzi likes the smell of Lemon better. Cut a bit of Lemon and squeezed the juice . Sliced the onions.

The shop used dried shrimps but Mamarazzi substituted this with tiny bilis.

Then she throw the young fern into boiling water for awhile . Took it out put into a bowl of iced water and stuff it into freezer for a few minutes.

When it's cold enough, Mamarazzi just mixed everything together with a bit of sugar.

 Smells good.

Taste...still a bit off. Maybe the vege was a bit over cooked. Should definitely put lime instead of Lemon. But it's still edible.

Play-A-Sound Kids Books at BookXcess

Vroom! vroom! Go BookXcess to pick up Mamarazzi's online orders.

BookXcess very naughty wor. Tuesday evening load up so many lovely Play-a-Sound books in their Facebook. At RM9-90 only some more!

But before that, have to stop and makan first.

Makan at the shop next to Hot Value Mart. While waiting for the food to arrive, Mamarazzi pop over to Hot value Mart and spotted a Good Buy.

Ta! Da! Winnie The Pooh's Thinking Spot Books Box Set at RM11-90. Left only one box. Mamarazzi wanted to grab more also tarak already.

There are 5 books in this box. Book 8 to 12.

She saw there are a few odd books of the same in Hot Value Mart selling at RM2-90 each. Maybe the box was damaged and the store decided to sell the books individually.

After makan, we head off to BookXcess' Customer Service Counter and collected these.

Nah...Mamarazzi did not went crazy and "borong" so many copies of the same books. Not all are mine. Some are for friends who tumpang us to buy.

For herself, Mamarazzi bought these

She spotted this book at the front door of BookXcess.

At first she was reluctant to buy as she still have one more Neil Gaiman book yet to read. But when she flipped through it she discovered a magic word that made he buy this book.

And that word was...JODI PICOULT...Yes, one of the short stories in the book is written by Jodi Picoult. Mamarazzi is a fan of her books.

Then we went to the counter to pay. The Kor Kor punch in the purchase and told Mamarazzi short of RM6, she can get 10% discount. He offered to hold the purchse for Mamarazzi while she search for more books. Haiz...what else...kiasu mode started.

Browse around and found these two coloring books. Nope, not for me coz she bought for me already last week.

Mamarazzi bought SpongeBob and Mickey Mouse Colouring & Stickers books for me last week. RM3-90 each.
In the middle of the book are two pages of colourful stickers.

Wow...so many books. Which one to start first?

I love the most is Dora The Explorer book. It's small. Fit my hand just nice and it have only 4 cardboard pages. Not too long. Suits me coz if the story is too long, I get bored.

Restaurant Sri Paandi , Petaling Jaya

One fine afternoon, we had lunch here.

Hmm..not bad. They giving 4 types of vegetable and two types of Keropok instead of what usually found in others Banana Leaf Restaurant.

The fried chicken was quite good.

Got the "yogurt" and the soup.

Best is eat with hands.

Food wise was good but had a bit of communication problem. Asked for Coconut water, one staff "wokay wokay" but it never arrived. After some time, asked again. A more knowledgeable staff then told us they do not serve coconut water.

Asked for bitter gourd also never arrived. Seems that some of the staffs might be new and can't understand much Bahasa or English.
