The Children's Life of Christ-The Man Who Came Through The Roof by Enid Byton

As in Enid Blyton's book, there lives a man in the city of Capernaum. He was paralysed. He often thought maybe this is God's punishment to him because of his sins. He wished that his sins could be forgiven.

One day of of his friend brought him news about Jesus a great healer and they decided to bring him to meet Jesus. Jesus was inside a  house, talking to the people there. There was a huge crowd surrounding the house and the friends can't bring the man into the house.

But they when they saw the  man eyes, they resolved to help him no matter what. One thought of a great ideal. They climb up the roof and lower the man down to Jesus from the roof.

People in the house were surprised to see a mattress was being lower into the house from the roof.

Jesus saw the man's face and knows what he yearns the most. He told the man that his sins were forgiven.

The crowds were horrified at what Jesus said. Jesus saw what the crowds were thinking. They were thinking how is it possible that Jesus have the power to forgive sins. Only God can do that.

Then Jesus asked the crowds which one is easier to say to the man? "Your sins are forgiven" or "Rise up and walk". And then he show everyone he have the power to forgive sins and he commanded the man to rise up and take his bed and go home. The man did just that to everyone amazement.

Which reminds me of a rhyme in a book from Tommy Nelson " Miracle happens, they do they do. Miracles happens for you and me"

Have a nice and peaceful Sunday!

Visited By "Ah Longs"

Last weekend, a few "Ah Longs" and "Ex-Ah Long" paid Mamarazzi a visit.

Scared scared...fast fast bring them out to our usual makan place and feed them. Hungry "Ah Longs" are very dangerous. Better stuff them up with food.

We had Stir Fried Kai Lan with Roast Pork. Not bad.

 Nyonya Steamed Fish

 Lala Soup

 And Crabs with Salted Eggs.

The Waiter forgot to bring Hammer for the Crabs. I quickly asked him to bring. Wah..the man was shockedto see me asking for Hammer.

Cheh! he didn't know I am expert in eating Crabs meh?

I got friendly with that man and he gave me a Lolipop and an "Elephant".
Eee...What is this??...black black colour geh....

 Mmmmmm........

Delicious! I like it so much that I finished off Mamarazzi bowl of sweet dessert too.

At the end of the lunch there was a fight.

It was a fight for the Bill. The "Ah Longs" won of course.

No worries la..they are the good "Ah Longs". They won't chase hutang using unsavory methods punya. They are Mamarazzi's ex-colleagues. Got licence punya.

The person who made the effort to organised the "Ah Longs" visit is the same person who baked this beautiful cake.

Mamarazzi have been drooling at her cooking and cakes for quite some time. Now, finally get to have a taste.

It's a Honey Dew something something cake. Taste very delicious. Just nice. Not too sweet.

You wanna know who baked this? Then click here

Thank you very much PMT, SYK, LWK3 and yang tak dapat hadir LT7 & YSY5.

That afternoon, Papa also brought home a tasty Durian Cake by Auntie Cynthia. Smell very nice. Sorry ya the photo did not turn out nice. Thank you very much ya, Auntie Cynthia for the cake.

Durian Popsicle

Last week Mamarazzi went and bought some more durians. This round different a trader selling. Some of the durian he gave were kinda over ripe. By the time we arrived home, some of it had "melted".

It's yucky to eat "watery" durian. But "sayang" to throw away as it's D24. Mahal leh.

How ah? Mamarazzi doesn't know and does not have the equipment to make durian ice cream. Then I have her and ideal. Popsicle!

She had no idea how to make Popsicle too but simply "tembak" la. Took the seeds out. Scoop the pulp into the blender. Add some water and a bit of sugar.

The "blended" durian all poured into thin and long plastic bag. Pop them into the freezer.

Bought those plastic bag from the nearby Mini Market for RM2/packet.

Jeng~jeng~jeng! Durian Popsicles!

Taste?Boleh tahan la. Have very strong durian smell.

You want one? RM2 satu batang! Wei...not expensive leh. Made of D24 type of durian leh.

Note: Hmm...people say eating durian is heaty...what about durian Popsicle ah?
