BookXcess World Book Day, A Prize And A Gift

We went to BookXcess yesterday to check out their World Book Day Offer(to kaypoh lah).

A friend who knew that we were going to BookXcess texted Mamarazzi in the morning and told her that I have won a prize from BookXcess for Mamarazzi. Wow! Good news indeed. Kill two birds with one stone.

At the same time, Mamarazzi also collected the gifts that a friend left for her at BookXcess. Alamak! real "paiseh". Mamarazzi went to the Customer Service to "mintak" the gift and the guy straight give to her without asking for identification. When Mamarazzi asked "Huh? you don't need my ID?". The guy said no need coz saw the face in Facebook liao. Guess, Mamarazzi is getting notorious lor

As for BookXcess World Book Day Promotion..It's was great. Tarak tipu one. Really RM1, RM2 and RM3 books can be found there.


These are the books that Mamarazzi borong-ed. RM3 each and some of it are hardcover books.



Last month Mamarazzi bought Paulo Coelho's The Winner Stands Alone and she is halfway readingit. Found that it's very good. Thus she can't help but to grab two more of his books. These two are the ones that made him shoot to fame, right? Should be nice.

comes with 3 pieces of Wantan. Also taste very nice.

Papa ordered 10 pieces of Sui Kow. Taste good.

But rather a bit too salty. Maybe they forgot and put salt in it twice?

Not forgetting, Mamarazzi also "tapau-ed" Roast Pork and Roast Chicken Rice for dinner. Mamarazzi steamed the rice again in the Wok. Surprisingly, the gravy smell of chicken feet with mushroom dish. Taste also yummy but a bit too salty.

Apart from chicken rice and wantan mee they also have chicken feet with mushroom dish and a few others.

Had dinner here just now. First time eating here.

A lot of choices though a bit pricey.

So many choices leh, Mamarazzi. How ah?

Okie Lemon Juice for Papa and Ice Lemon Tea for Mamarazzi. Huh? The Ice Lemon Tea is bancuh from powder one ah? But Mamarazzi hate those wor.

Oh...good...the Jie Jie said they can make fresh one! Make tea and add Lemon. Wow, really good service ah. The only minus point is that they doesn't seems to cater for kids. Tarak Kids Menu and they didn't give me plastic plate and cutlery.

Yummy... Garlic Bread. These are soft ones. Very tasty.

Chicken Mushroom Soup with a lot of mushroom and thin slices of chicken. Yum yum...dip dip garlic bread....


Cold Seafood Salad -a seafood platter of succulent oyster, shelled prawns, arctic clams and smoked salmon, served on a bed of salad with special cocktail sauce & lemon. Papa ngap-ed the Oyster. I had some Salmon (yummy) and some of the prawns. Mamarazzi loved the Arctic Clams.

Eee...the Main Course. Mali mali hom!

Mamarazzi's Australian Grain Fed Sirloin Steak With Black Pepper sauce. The Sauce they put separately. Good hor? Can put according to own taste. And they even give mustard just in case you are a mustard lover and it's very hot one leh.

The Steak taste delicious and portion very big.Mamarazzi had a hard time sumbat-ing all into her tum tum.

Papa's T-bone steak...yum yum...juicy and tender.

As for poor me...I had jagung lor. I fast fast curi-ed from Mamarazzi's plate just in case she ngap-ed that too.

I guess tonight I was kinda a semi-vegetarian la. Eat corn(sedap), carrot, salmon, prawns and only a bite or two of the steak.

Overall, the food kira as sedap here.Much better than some Western Restaurants. Portion big enough and service is good. Just too bad they aren't well prepare for children.

Morning we had Crabs...

Evening we went to Restaurant King Crab pulak.

And who should I meet if not these pretty "delivery man" who came to deliver a lovely Cake. Didn't know the story? Never mind. Check out the post here.

Appetizer. "Acar". Taste? Not that nice as it's a bit too soft.

A taufu dish. Taste not bad.

Butter prawn. Yummy. The prawns were very fresh. Mamarazzi and me loves the crunchy toppings.

Forgot the name of this dish but the taste not that nice.

This is a sexy dish. Called Sexy Prawns with XO Sauce. Am not bluffing you geh.It's written in the Menu. Auntie Cyn said maybe the prawns are sexy coz all are naked. No more kulit.

Thai Style Fish.Hmm...taste quite good.

The Taiko. Spicy and Sour Crabs. Taste? Fresh and sweet.

Alamak! forgot the name again...something that got baked..salted..pepper..something something crab.

I like this one coz it's not spicy and I can eat the "Khong".

Aiks...Uncle Patrick and Auntie Florence seems to be enjoying themselves very much.

Three Kind Souls Came Bearing Crabs..Opps Gifts

You! Don't go anywhere. I've got a story to tell. A story of three kind souls.

Yesterday was a special Sunday. It's special coz three kind souls woke up 7 early 8 early in the morning to go pasar. Getting the perfect ingredients to cook up a storm. They are Uncle Patrick, Auntie Florence and Auntie Siew. They stay quite far away and they came bearing delicious gifts.

Mamarazzi didn't have to lift a finger. Mamarazzijust have to sit and wait to be served.

Uncle Patrick's special steamed crabs. Delicious!

Also others yummy stuffs. I ate so many "telur puyuh" till I lost count.

Don't know where Auntie Florence and Auntie Siew got this young and sweet Sawi from but this was one of the first dish that we finished.

Hmm...what's that? Auntie Florence cooked her secret recipe soup.

Special Assam Fish soup. The yellow brinjal can only be found in Sarawak. This is the secret ingredient.

Auntie Florence's friend brought some for her from Sarawak last week. She purposely kept it for yesterday occasion. She could have kept it all for herself but she shared her favourite food with us. But then what can I say...Auntie Florence is gifted with a kind and generous nature. Sometimes too kind till Mamarazzi likes to take advantage of her kindness. I guess she got her good nature from her parents.

I noticed that Auntie Siew was not her usual self yesterday. It must have been the terrible migraine that she have been having for the past few days. I hope she will recover soon.




Alamak! got out of the topic pulak. But then Mamarazzi really wanna thank this three generous and kind soul lor.


Back to the topic...The soup was really delicious. We ate and ate and ate but then also cannot finish punya.

We end-up too full till cannot move. The cake cutting have to be postphone...
