Cheong Kim Chuan Bak-Kut-Teh Spices

Bought this packet of BKT spices from Penang

The spices after took out from the packet

This round Mamarazzi BKT enough ingredient.

Got Tau Pok, Mushrooms and meat.

Taste? Hmm...duno why Papa said the thing smell like Curry when Mamarazzi was cooking it. Maybe neighbour cooking curry kot?

Again, Mamarazzi put too much water. Taste okay la.

It's better than some other brands that Mamarazzi tried before. This Cheong Kim Chuan and Tean Ean brand are one of those which Mamarazzi likes. But between the two, she liked Tean Ean brand best.

Cham....again..Mamarazzi put ubat tidur in the soup ah?

The greens that goes with the BKT. Unfortunately this plate of greens went into the tong sampah.

Restaurant Char Siew Zhai Wantan Mee at Paramount Garden

Gosh...can't believe it. This is another late post. After going for BookXcess 4th Anniversary Celebration sale, we went to makan here.

Mamarazzi recall reading some awesome post in regards to this shop.

We ordered some Wantan Mee(noodle)

Fuiyoh! Kungfu Master! Papa saw the "Master Chef" tossing the noodle up up up and away....Lucky it's not like the cartoon where the noodle gets stuck on the roof.

He caught the noodle neatly in the big "senduk". He tossed the noodle a few more times.

Kesian him...if there were 100 customers that ordered wantan mee continuously, surely his arms would be very tired.

No eyes see. How to finish? Ordered "Small" plate of Wantan Mee and they gave so much.  Can share-share with Mamarazzi la.

Mmmm....the noodle very springy and nice. Not bad.

Didn't ordered their Char Siew. Ordered a small plate of Roast Pork instead. Got like 9 pieces of meat.

Oppss....forgotten to tell them we want more lean meat. Nevertheless, the skin was real crunchy.

Tum tum full full...time for a cat nap.

Address of this restaurant No 5, Jalan 20/13,Paramount Garden, 46300 Petaling Jaya

The Children's Life of Christ-The Widow's Gift/ I have CIKUMUFFIN-ED

In the story of The Children's Life of Christ "The Widow's Gift", Enid Blyton begin the tale where Jesus was at the Temple preaching. He knows his time is not long here as not only his friends and followers were there to listen to his talks but also his enemies.

They are the Pharisees, Scribes and Priest. They are there waiting to see if Jesus would make a mistake for them to throw him into prison. Jesus knew this. He warn the people about them and told them not to be like the Pharisees, Scribes and Priest who were selfish, insincere and uncharitable. This made the group that Jesus mentioned very angry.

Then Jesus went and sit at another court. Money boxes were there for people to put their money in as a donation. The minimum amount was a mite.  Jesus observed and he saw an old woman  whom he saw to be very poor. She was a widow. Hence does not have a husband to work for her. He thought surely this woman would not have any spare to donate.

As he watched, the woman quietly slipped two mites into the box. Jesus called his disciples attention to this and told then a rich man may put a lot of money into the donation box, but in the Lords eyes, this old widow's gift is greater than any other for she gave all she had.

Very heart warming story right? Well, it's just like Mommy Ling. Thanks to her sharing the good news about CIKUMUFFIN, I got a very special gift.

You know lah. Mamarazzi very kiasu one. Though not really fond of muffin but freebies wor...of course must grab when have the chance.

Very lucky as she was one of the 1st 20 commenter who had "Cikumuffin-ed".

 Jeng! Jeng!

Lemon Muffins!

Not only muffins but it also came with a lovely wrapped container.  What is it?

Well, it's a box of Chocolate Chips Cookies!

Very professionally wrapped. Classy looking right?

Mamarazzi really sayang to unwrap the cookies. She very clumsy one. Untied already, dont know how to tie back.

AHem...a thousand apology for Mamarazzi no skill photographing.

The cookies smelled and looked REAL good through the naked eyes. But sadly Mamarazzi was unable to capture the beauty of it.

Can't help myself. Took a bite. Very crunchy. Can taste that it was freshly baked.

Next comes the muffin.

Naughty Mamarazzi asked me to eat first as she don't really like Muffin much.

But then she look see look see...very moist wor...smell lemony fresh wor.

She took a bite.

Well, let just say that the rest of the 3 muffin she walloped all...not all at the same time la...one by one.

Well, what can I say. Thank you very much Mommy Ling for introducing CIKUMUFFIN in your blog and thank you to CIKUMUFFIN for these delicious treats.

Do check out CIKUMUFFIN BLOG and CIKUMUFFIN in Facebook at www.facebook.com/cikumuffin.

Restaurant Sunny Seafood, Subang 2

Slurp..slurp...

Hungry liao....food....

Eh...why cubit me?

Oww...

Oww...pain pain you know?

Cubit softly and gently only, you know?

We had fried oink oink intestine. Very crunchy and yummy. Taste great with the cili sauce from the fish.

The "yong" Mah Yau fish. It's the first time I had this. They scoop out the meat then minced it and put it back into the skin without the bone.

Nice nice....yummy. Great with the special cili sauce.

You know what? Mamarazzi saw a TV show and they have something like this.

They used chicken skin and fish paste. On top of the fish paste, they added flatten Salted Egg Yolks and  almond slices. I bet if Sunny add eggs yolks in the "yong" fish, it would taste superb.

Mixed vegetable. Yummy

We also ordered a Water Crestnut Vegetable soup. Mmmm....boiled long enough. Taste great!.

Restaurant Ipoh Hakka Yong Tau Foo, Desa Aman Puri

Last month we went for Hytex Warehouse Sale in Kepong. After the sale, tum tum hungry lor. Hence we stop by this Hakka Yong Tau Foo at Desa Aman Puri.

Sorry, I didn't have the address but you can get the map from Uncle Pete's blog. Check it out here.

Hmm..very windy.

Ordered some YTF.

And some fish balls for me.

Three plates of Chee Cheong Fun. Papa and Mamarazzi had CCF. Mamarazzi said she still prefered the CCF at the Seri Petaling YTF stall.

I had a fish ball

Mamarazzi saw that they have Kerabu Kaki Ayam and she ordered a plate of it. Didn't finish. What a waste of food.

Overall, the YTF taste not bad la. Good enough to fill hungry tum tum.

But I still preferred the YTF that Mamarazzi made the other day. She experiemented by adding some oink oink meat, water crestnut and spring onion to the fish paste.

Didn't blog about that coz the photos did not turn out well.

Steamed Beer Chicken(Non-Halal)

The other day, we had half a can of beer leftover. Mamarazzi kiasu. Beer is expensive leh. It's a waste to throw it away just like that.

Hence she dug up some Chicken Wings and drumstick and marinated them overnight with the beer.

The next day, she sliced some mushrooms and added a bit of Goji. Put everything to steam in the Rice Cooker with the rice.

Opps...sorry. Forgot to snap photo before eating.

 Yum yum...

Taste not bad. Taste lighter than the DOM Steam Chicken.
