Play-A-Sound Kids Books at BookXcess

Vroom! vroom! Go BookXcess to pick up Mamarazzi's online orders.

BookXcess very naughty wor. Tuesday evening load up so many lovely Play-a-Sound books in their Facebook. At RM9-90 only some more!

But before that, have to stop and makan first.

Makan at the shop next to Hot Value Mart. While waiting for the food to arrive, Mamarazzi pop over to Hot value Mart and spotted a Good Buy.

Ta! Da! Winnie The Pooh's Thinking Spot Books Box Set at RM11-90. Left only one box. Mamarazzi wanted to grab more also tarak already.

There are 5 books in this box. Book 8 to 12.

She saw there are a few odd books of the same in Hot Value Mart selling at RM2-90 each. Maybe the box was damaged and the store decided to sell the books individually.

After makan, we head off to BookXcess' Customer Service Counter and collected these.

Nah...Mamarazzi did not went crazy and "borong" so many copies of the same books. Not all are mine. Some are for friends who tumpang us to buy.

For herself, Mamarazzi bought these

She spotted this book at the front door of BookXcess.

At first she was reluctant to buy as she still have one more Neil Gaiman book yet to read. But when she flipped through it she discovered a magic word that made he buy this book.

And that word was...JODI PICOULT...Yes, one of the short stories in the book is written by Jodi Picoult. Mamarazzi is a fan of her books.

Then we went to the counter to pay. The Kor Kor punch in the purchase and told Mamarazzi short of RM6, she can get 10% discount. He offered to hold the purchse for Mamarazzi while she search for more books. Haiz...what else...kiasu mode started.

Browse around and found these two coloring books. Nope, not for me coz she bought for me already last week.

Mamarazzi bought SpongeBob and Mickey Mouse Colouring & Stickers books for me last week. RM3-90 each.
In the middle of the book are two pages of colourful stickers.

Wow...so many books. Which one to start first?

I love the most is Dora The Explorer book. It's small. Fit my hand just nice and it have only 4 cardboard pages. Not too long. Suits me coz if the story is too long, I get bored.

Restaurant Sri Paandi , Petaling Jaya

One fine afternoon, we had lunch here.

Hmm..not bad. They giving 4 types of vegetable and two types of Keropok instead of what usually found in others Banana Leaf Restaurant.

The fried chicken was quite good.

Got the "yogurt" and the soup.

Best is eat with hands.

Food wise was good but had a bit of communication problem. Asked for Coconut water, one staff "wokay wokay" but it never arrived. After some time, asked again. A more knowledgeable staff then told us they do not serve coconut water.

Asked for bitter gourd also never arrived. Seems that some of the staffs might be new and can't understand much Bahasa or English.

Nyonya Color @ MidValley

Many have visited Nyonya Colors at MidValley and have recommended to Mamarazzi

That day we were at MidValley and didn't know what to makan so decided to drop by the place to have a go.

I had the Nasi Lemak Set. Aiks! The rice green color geh? Taste...hmm...normal. I didn't eat the chicken as it's spicy.

Mamarazzi had Asam Laksa. The noodle was good. The soup was so-so. The fish was "fishy".  Okay, fish supposed to taste fishy but this one got a funny taste.

Well, this just shows that what suits a person may not suits another. Guess it's up to individual taste.

A Wet Thai Food Cafe @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

That night we were looking for "Hot Soup" in Puchong as advertised in some blogs but it was no open. Hence, pusing punya pusing Mamarazzi just simply shoot one restaurant to have our dinner. And it happens to be this Thai restaurant.

First and foremost..coconut for me. Eat Thai food must drink coconut drink to cool down.

The waiter very fast placed 3 cups of chilled plain water for us. Hmmm....very special as the water have a the fragrant of Pandan leaves.

Wow..they have pork ribs. Don't be frighten by the photo. It's actually very nice. Just that Mamarazzi photography skill not that good.

In fact, it's pretty tasty. Well marinate an fried perfectly

Come Thai Restaurant must order Tom Yam lah. Mmmmm.....it sure made Papa sweats a lot.

What you mean, Mamarazzi? No way am I going to have a sip of that soup although you say it taste better than the Tom Yam Shrimp at Coconut Grove in Teluk Gong. I'll stick to this delicious Pork Rib.

Siakap Fish. Forgot what style of cooking already. Think it's steam. The sauce/soup really super duper tasty. I think the restaurant got accustomed to customer asking for additional soup as they automatic provide us with an additional bowl of soup.

It's very special the way the put the fish into this "plate". It's not heated with candles like normal restaurant. Saw there were some sort of charcoal burning at the bottom of the "plate".

Papa had plain white rice while Mamarazzi and me shared a big plate of crab meat fried rice. Mamarazzi was truly surprised to find big chunk of crabs meat in the fried rice. She had expected that they would just chuck in some crab meat rolls or something artificial.

Yes! Thumbs up to this fried rice.

Last but not least, Kerabu Mango. Also super yummy. Mamarazzi can't finish this alone so she tapau-ed it home for the next day meal. It was still tasty.

We would definitely go back to this restaurant again. Meal not that pricey. Total bill comes to around RM80. Worth it especially with the delicious fish.

Here is the address just in case you would like to have a try No.1, Grd Floor Jalan Puteri 2/5, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong. Tel: 603 - 8060 5630. Located opposite of BB Ho Steamboat

Goat Milk Hunting, Sg Buloh

Papa bought me two bottles of Goat Milk from Vita Care Pharmacy the other day as mentioned by Mamarazzi here.

Since I was not adverse to taking Goat Milk, Mamarazzi decide to get the instruction on how to go to the Farm from Mommy Ling.

Vrooom! Vroom! we went hunting. Mommy Ling's instructions were pretty clear but Mamarazzi's eyes too big. Over shot the destination and had to turn back. Lucky Papa's eyes were sharper.

Pretty soon we arrived at the Farm. Big big banner and signboard announce that they have fresh goat meat and milk for sale. Not only Goat Milk...they even have Horse Milk!!! Didn't buy that

Apa lagi, Mamarazzi "borong" again. RM5 per bottle which size around 200ml but the man gave Mamarazzi RM1 discount for each bottle since she borong a lot.

Gosh! Big bird seems to be following me everywhere. In this "ulu" place they also have Big Bird(Ostrich). Heard they have ostrich and horse riding activities but Mamarazzi did not double confirm with the man.

Cobra and what is that? Iguana? I wonder what they are for. Is it for milk? Cobra & Iguana milk??? Iguana got milk ka?

Hello, "Deer". You are cute but you are also pretty smelly. Time to take bath.

Relatives to Big Bird . Smaller size.

Wah...these horsey really big and tall. Must be able to run very fast. I wonder when would they have horse riding activities. Maybe weekends ah?

Got a brochures from them but it was not mentioned. The brochure did mention that they do offer catering service for function, providing fresh goat/cow meat, animal hotel and etc.

For further information, you may contact them at 03-6156 9383/ email : sungaibulohfarm@gmail.com. Their address is Sg Buloh Farm, Lot 115-F, Kg Melayu Sg Buloh, 47000 Sg Buloh, Selangor. GPS: 30' 13' 08"N 101' 34' 33E.

Beh tahan. Drink one bottle first.

Yawn! why is it after drinking Goat Milk my tum tum felt so full....sleepy....

The result of Mamarazzi's "kiasu-ness". The man said if the milk is put into freezer, they can stand for 6months whereas if kept in fridge, it would have to be consumed within 48 hours

The Children's Life of Christ- The Wonderful Story Teller

Mamarazzi read till Chapter 18 of The Children's Life of Christ  by Enid Blyton. By this time, Jesus live a full life. He is busy with preaching and healing people. And when he is tired, he goes away to pray by himself

By this time, there are some people who dislike him because people are listening to what Jesus had said. They tried to disrupt his preaching and find faults with what he had said. But Jesus ignore them . He kept thinking of new and effective ways to get his message across. Ways that is easily understood by the people.

With this, Jesus start to made up stories to teach people and these wonderful tales are what we call Parables. Each tales have meaning and these tales are easily understood by people and they love it very much

One day, Jesus was walking down the street of Capernaum and went to the lake there. People saw him and they followed.
Jesus saw that it's hard to tell story at the shore and he called out to Peter to bring his boat to the shore. Jesus got onto the boat and tell stories from there. Yes, how the people loves his stories.

I also prefer story that is easy to understand instead of long winded speech.

Like this Pirate Ship Adventure book

It's 3D book. Ya got lotsa word but with the 3D picture I can use my imagination

I can "travel" without even leaving the house.

Mamarazzi got this book at a great discount from BookXcess. This book was offer on the World Book Day promotion at 50% discount. On top of that Mamarazzi also got extra 10% for purchases above RM150. End up this book is less than RM10. Not bad.

Finnegan’s Pub @ Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur

We went for Set Lunch(RM13++) at Finnegan's Pub, MidValley. There were 4 sets to choose from. Should have been 5 but that day they did not have Set 4.

Very worthwhile as they have free flow of soft drinks, soup, salad and finger food.

 Aiyo...no eyes see...kiasu mode "ON".

Not bad. But towards the end, soup was rather peppery.

Got salad and some fried stuffs

 Colesaw and fried stuffs.

 Anak bapak...feed Papa.

 Guinness??

Guiness Stout or Coke? Cheh....it's coke.
 The Salad.

Chicken Chop consist of quarter chicken. Having this alone might not be enough for Mamarazzi but add with the Soup, Salad and the fried food, it's ample enough.

Lamb Chop. Portion rather big. Papa said tasted okay.

Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick's two plates of Pork Piccatta. Ahem....portion is adequate for small eater. Big eater like Mamarazzi would need at least two portion.

Service very good. There were only one waitress manning the whole outlet at that time and there were 4 or 5 table occupied. Despite that, she managed to serve us quite fast and with a smile. Thumbs up to her.
