Banana Leaf Rice at Ravi's, Petaling Jaya

Yay..the staff there gave me this free Lolipop when I kept smiling and played with them. I wanna eat Lolipop.

What you mean give you? It's mine. The staff gave me one. ....

Oooo...cannot eat Lolipop before eat rice is it? Hmmm...rice oh rie...faster come la...

Rice haven't come. I drink and eat coconut first lah.

Now can eat Lolipop yet or not? Not yet? Coconut not counted as ate ah?

Finally! Very generous serving of rice and vegetables. Wow...they gave so much fried bitter gourd. Mamarazzi loves this.

But then hor...tell you 1st ah...their curry really meletup spicy! Those who love spicy curry would love this shop.

After eating, Papa and Mamarazzi's heads were like kena rain. My nose also sweaty liao.

Can see my sweaty nose or not? Naughty Mamarazzi fed me some rice which have a bit of curry.

As for the fried fish and chicken..taste were so-so. The Chicken drumstick looks rather kesian. Must have been a very young chicken.

Now can I eat my Lolipop?

I like this place. Very spacious and also clean. Only parking is rather difficult and confusing. We couldn't find vacant bay in front of the shop. Had to go for the indoor parking. After parked, it was hard to find the way out of the car park to go to the restaurant. If I remembered correctly, parking after 7p.m. is rm3 per entry. Rather steep price.

Sambal Petai - Mamarazzi's Super Lazy Recipe

Let me tell you this. There is no other person in this world that is as super lazy as Mamarazzi.

Nearly a month ago, Mamarazzi bought 6 pods/stalks of Petai(Parkia speciosa) from the pasar. She stuffed the whole thing into the fridge and totally forgotten about it till the other day.

Alamak! The pods/stalks had turned brown. She took a gamble and started to peel the Petai. Hmm...lucky the seed inside is still edible.

She was lazy to go to the pasar to get some fresh prawn or sotong. Guess what she did? She went to the Nasi Lemak stall nearby and buy RM2 of sambal sotong from them.

Got a packet of Sambal Tumis from 99 Speedmart nearby.
Throw everything into the Wok and delicious Sambal Petai is ready! I bet when "someone" sees this post, that "someone" is going to make a lot of noise. Don't worry. There is still quite a lot of leftover in the fridge. Mamarazzi dare not eat a lot coz it's very heaty.

The Final Summit by Andy Andrew

David Ponder is a 74-years old man who have gone through a lot in his life. He had built an empire  and had lost it. But that time his wife Ellen was with him. Together they rebuilt what they had lost. Now, Ellen is gone. He is alone again and faced with the challenge. He is chosen to give the answer to " What does humanity need to do, individually and collectively, to restore itself to the path towards successful civilization?"

Nevertheless he is to have help from fellow Time Traveller like Joan of Arc, Winston Churchill, Einstein and a few others. He have five chances to answer correctly or else.....

This book really kept me on my toes. It is really interesting to pick the brain of these great leaders and learn from them. It explore what makes these leader leads so successfully. Their principles and ideas.

Overall it's an enjoyable book to read. Need a calm mind to fully digest the information in the book.

The Children's Life of Christ-Jesus Begins His Work / Two Gentlemen Came Knocking

The latest bedtimes story from Enid Blyton's The Children's Life Of Christ Book which Mamarazzi read to me was Jesus Begins His Work.

Well, Jesus was nearly 30 years of age when he went to the country side preaching to people about the words of God. Calling them to do good and to listen to the words of God. People liked him and trusted him as he have a face which goodness shone from it.

More and more people came and listen to him preaching as his words and stories are simple and easy to understand.

The Jesus started to use the great power within him to heal the sick. It's a wonderful gift indeed for he can heal them with a touch or a word.

Therefore, where ever Jesus went, there are sure to be a crowd. Some wants to listen to his words, some wants to see he perform miracles and some need his help. The ill and sick went in hope that he can help to cure them. With the help of their friend and family, they hope to meet Jesus and to be cured.

Well, three days ago, two gentlemen came calling. They went house to house knocking on the doors.

One of them came knocking at our door. Mamarazzi opened the door and peeped. The gentlemen flashed a photocopy of letter with Police Letterhead and said to be authorization letter from the Police authorizing him to collect donation for 30 disable people. With him there was a file with photographs of some disabled people. Mamarazzi quickly said "No, thank you" and shut the door.

They then went to a neighbour's house. Mamarazzi quickly took the camera and zoom zoom zoomed...zoomed too much hence the photograph blurred. She dare not use flash as it might alert them on her action.

The neighbour is a Malay man and listened to their pitch. Mamarazzi over heard "Lima Belas Ringgit" and the Malay man came out and gave them money.

After collecting the money from the Malay man, the red head gentleman came calling again. Maybe being informed by his colleague of his failure to collect donation from this house.

This round Mamarazzi lagi ganas. Open the door with a knife in hand...she tengah cutting vegetable mah...The fella terkejut and said he is not a Salesman. Again she said "No! Thank You" and shut the door.

Jesus advised give money to charity. But would you have given money to these two gentlemen?

Chicken Wings and Durians

Right opposite of the durian stall in yesterday's post, is this Chicken Wings stall. Wah...very hard to get this price nowadays leh...RM1-50 per wing.

Oh ya..Tongkeng Ayam is Chicken bum bum.

 First batch of Chicken Wings.

Mamarazzi "tapau-ed" two. But came home after all the makan felt too full already. Reheated these in the oven the next day. Not that tasty anymore. Probably due to being in the fridge. Should have ate it there and then.

Mamarazzi polished off the durians that Uncle Patrick bought. We went to Pasar Malam to "replenish" stock.

Asked the man to select two bitter tasting durians. This round I become the "Supervisor".

You better give Mamarazzi nice and edible durians! If not I take the durian skin and throw at you!

Hmm....result not bad. One full tub of durians. One biji have the "minuscule" seed while the other biji the seed were big.

Yumm yumm...my midnight feast. Want some? Eerrrrr by the way...Auntie Cleff...where is my durians....
