Samseng Eats Durian

These few weeks, there are so many post about Durians. I also wanna post about my makan durian with Uncle Patrick and Auntie Florence lah.

We went to tapau mixed rice from Restaurant Maxis in Subang Perdana. Auntie Florence saw got durian stall. She missed eating durian.

Thought of buying some durians but didn't bring plastic containers. The durians stall here normally do not have styrofoam box.

Mamarazzi ask the Taukeh of the Mixed Rice Stall in Restaurant Maxis to sell 3 styrofoam containers to us. He said no need to say sell. He can give free of charge and he did.

The Durian stall owner recognised Mamarazzi. They used to have open stall near the Tuesday Pasar Malam at Kota Damansara. The old place was "chup" by other people this year. Hence they shifted to Subang Perdana.

Gave this biji of durian Free for us to eat there.

Ngap...ngap ..ngap...samseng style of eating durian. Cekik pinggang some more.

Oi! apa pandang-pandang! Never saw people eat durian like this ka?

Okay lo then I eat like this can or not?

Uncle Patrick end up buying 3 biji of durian. They give one more biji of durian for RM1 to round up to RM50.

The Styrofoam containers not enough to put in 3 durians. We end up bringing home two unopened durians.

We love bitter tasting durians. Taste memang bitter but when we arrived home, we discovered got two strips not that ripe. Even the extra durian ganti which he throw in for RM1 also not much taste. Looks like someone will kena scolding from Mamarazzi lor...

Second attempt on Winter Melon Soup

Remember Mamarazzi bought a Winter Melon from the Pasar Malam the week before? She planned to make Lohan Guo Leong Sui. Same way as making Sea Coconut Leong Sui except replace the Sea Coconut with shredded Winter Melon.

She just need a little bit of Winter Melon for the Leong Sui. The extra she attempt to make Winter Melon Soup again

Her first attempt here was not that successful

She boiled a bit of meat.

This round she chopped up the Winter Melon into chunks. Add some meat, scallops, red dates and "Gei Zhi". Boiled overnight using slow cooker.

The next morning the soup turns out good. Smell so nice and taste good.

The Kitten and The Bone

Ngap ngap ngap....Papa came back from Indon and "tapau-ed" home their Sup Tulang. Sorry ya, Mamarazzi forgot to snap photo of the soup before it all end up in our tummy. The gravy was rather thick and full of spices.

The bone-bone pulak really nice to chew.

Not only that. Papa also bought this home for me. Can you guess what it is?

Yes, it's a helmet. I can become "Mat Rempit" already!

Pull down the "screen"(what you call it?) first.

Now I am ready to go gai-gai with the new bag that Auntie Agnes bought me. Thank you Auntie Agnes.

Secret Recipe, Damansara Utama.

Recently Papa's car made noise again. At first the sound was "krung krung krung". Then on the day which we have a lot of things to do the sound changed to "KRANG KRANG KRANG". Very loud sound.  Like a metal rod being dragged along the road.

Haiz...don't know why. One thing after another. One expenses after another. Where to find more money? Pick from the tree or rob a bank?

That is how we end up at Secret Recipe. It's near the Workshop. The good news was we can get the car back within the same day. The bad news...you can guess la.

We were in time for their Lunch promotion which consist of on main course of your choice and Ice Lemon Tea at RM15++.

Mamarazzi had Hot Lemon Tea. She was not feeling that well. She was sure she snap a photo of the lemon Tea but the photo seems to have "disappear". What a jinx.

Papa had something something Green Tea. I had a taste. Taste like milk.

Papa ordered Spaghetti.

He gave me. At first I refused and said "it's so dirty" coz I saw the dark color meat on top. I thought it's ahem ahem...

But the Papa pick out the noodle for me. Slurrrrppp...errr...not bad la. But the ones Papa made tastier.

Mamarazzi ordered Kids Meal for me. Mini Burgers.

I sure had fun with my Kids Meal. I love the alphabet fries. I had two burgers, Papa had one and Mamarazzi had one as she didn't have much appetite.

I sure would love to have more of the alphabet fries. It's so yummy.

Oh ya..when payment that time, we baru realised the plain water is not free. They charge 50sens a cup. Mamarazzi had a few cups of warm water as she was feeling chilly.

Don't worry. Mamarazzi is all better now. It was an onset of sore-throat.

The Children's Life of Christ-Jesus Grows Up / Mamarazzi's Death and Taxes

Mamarazzi have been telling me stories of Jesus from Enid Blyton's "The Children's Life of Christ" book, and she should have learnt something from the story "Jesus Grows Up". But nooooo... she never learn. Like Chinese saying " Wanna got toilet, baru wanna dig hole".
In that story, Jesus was very matured after going to Jerusalem. He was treated more like an adult instead of kid. He was responsible and dependable. He learnt his trade well from Joseph. He was to be a Carpenter.

Jesus had plenty of time to think as he hammer and sawed away. He saw that goodness and kindness, justice and unselfishness were the things that really matter. Therefore he nurtured these in his heart and throwaway the bad things like greed, spite and unkindness. He knew he need to have good thoughts and see good in everything in order to preach to people. Because of this, the goodness always shows up in his face and people trust and loved him.

Years passed and Jesus become a man. Joseph passed away and Mary depended on Jesus more and more. Although Mary don't understand everything that goes on in Jesus mind but she knew that he is the Holy Child of God.

When Jesus was nearly 30 years old, he knew that it is time for him to leave Nazareth and go out to preach to the world on the words of God. To do his Father's Holy work. And so he went out to the world to do work that God had sent him to the world to do.

Well, as I have said earlier, Mamarazzi should have known better. April and June each year are the the final months to submit tax returns.

Mamarazzi always likes to do things last minute. Letters, receipts, vouchers and what not never filed as and when received! When wanna search for something, always can't find. Haiyo!!! See! The junks from since don't know when.

Kena Tax month, she baru dug out and baru wanna sort and do filing. Spend one whole week doing that and looking for last year Tax Return which seems to have gone missing. Searched for a few days till the house like kena tornado and she finally found in....THE TAX FILE!

I no eyes see la. The thing was in the file all along, don't know why she could not find it after flipping through a few times. "Eyes Big Never See Mountain" or "Ghost Cover Eyes".

Yesterday evening, she finally got everything together. Login e-filing.

Less than 15 minutes later...TaDa!!! E-acknowledgement for successful submission of Tax Returns for year ended 2010.

If only she had spend her time well like Jesus did, she won't have to kelam-kabut when comes Tax time.

I see Mamarazzi grumbling about taxes and death goes well together I also very scared already. I don't wanna grow up lo. To grow up have to submit Tax Returns yearly geh. Such a headache. Stay being a kid better la. Get tax relief also.

Again A Guinea Pig - Thang Hoon Soup

Mamarazzi don't know what to cook. Feeling very lazy. Then she recall seeing STP's post on Glass Noodle not long ago and decided to cook that.

We don't have that many ingredients. She had to make do with what she dug out from the fridge... some vegetables, some meatballs and an egg. Soaked two pieces of mushroom in hot water. Fried the egg. Soak the Glass Noodle.

Nah...she used the short cut way. Didn't fry ikan bilis to make soup. She just throw in half a piece of Knozz Ikan Bilis Cube.

Taste...okay okay la...but one thing...Mamarazzi didn't put enough water. The soup "vanished" very fast.

Restaurant Ye Look, Seri Petaling

I am so hot thirsty that I can just swallow this piece of ice. We went to see Mamarazzi's friend in Seri Petaling the other day.

Long time have not had dinner at this restaurant. The food at this restaurant is not bad.

Bumped into Mamarazzi's two ex-bosses. Wah lau eh! One of them so "bulat" already. Mamarazzi nearly can't recognise him. Guess it's good life after being promoted to the Head Office.

Back to the dinner, we had Hokkien Mee coz I wanted to eat noodle.

Quite tasty though it's a bit messy for me to eat. Mamarazzi said I look like a "Lah Char Mau".

Big portion of fried rice. They even put in chopped BBQ Pork(Char Siew). A bit too salty but it's up to individual taste. Papa said okay.

This one is "Pai Guat Wong". The funny thing about this is there is no bones. Where is the bones?

Last but not least Spinach soup. Purposely ordered for me but I didn't drink. Mamarazzi's friend, Papa and Mamarazzi finished all.

Total bill with a pot of Chinese Tea for 3 adults and 1 kids was RM51. The Hokkien Mee (RM12)and the fried rice(RM12) was portion for two person.
