Low Sang With Uncle Patrick And Auntie Florence at Restaurant Yin Her

Wow...Rabbit Year got rabbits at Restaurant Yin Her wor.

Snap some photos first.

Alamak! Kesian the Lime trees. Going to "botak" soon coz some kids went and pluck the leaves and lime to feed the Rabbits.

Maybe in a few days, rabbit dish would be in the Menu of the restaurant.

 Here comes the Yee Sang

 Low Sang ah...Toss high high!

Next comes the "Nai Yau Har". Love the "hair". Prawns were very fresh. Prawns were still swimming in the aquarium before kena goreng. However, the taste was not that sweet.

 Seafood Taufu in Mini Wok.

Thung Poh Meat. Must eat with the Mantao. The Mantao very tasty. It was so tasty that we order another plate of Mantao just to eat with the gravy.

Haiya...it was while we were enjoying the 2nd plate of Mantao that a man came with his family. They didn't book any table and the restaurant was full. He saw our table and "assumed" we finished eating. That fella went and remarked loudly "Some people ah..finished makan still refuse to go away".

Wah lau eh...you pay service tax, we also pay service tax leh. We come in first, you come in later. You tarak book table, you will have to wait lah. We like to enjoy our food slowly and not to stuff our mouth full like refugee you know. Not as if your buttock bigger that I have to stuff my face like an oink oink just to let you have the table. Moreover after you make such rude remark.

Steamed Fish With Salted Beans.

Mmmm....yum yum..eat with hand. Missed Kanna Curry House Banana Leaf rice.

Sedap hingga menjilat jari.

The Children's Life of Christ-The Sheperds on The Hills by Enid Byton

It's bedtime story again. It's another summary of The Children's Life of Christ again. A book written by Enid Blyton. I don't know why. Some people doesn't like Enid Blyton books and like to analyse the books to death especially those book related to fairies and stuffs. Well, books are written to be enjoyed.

Last week we stopped at Baby Jesus was born and The Angels were full of joy.

Everyone was fast asleep that night. The only people who are still awake were the Shepherds on the hills. They were lamenting about the harsh life under Roman Rule. Suddenly a bright light came upon them. Initially they were frighten but soon they see it's the Angel. Angels sang of joy for Jesus birth. The Angel told them the joyful news.

Gosh...the Sheperds were so happy to hear of the news and after the Angels disappeared, they decided to go and look for Baby Jesus. One of the Shepard carried a newborn Lamb as a gift for Baby Jesus.

And in they went into their car...brooooom broooooommm....in search of Baby Jesus. Huh? That time tarak car ka? Jalan kaki ah? Opps....must have been a long walk.

Well, the came to the inn and found the cave behind the inn. They say Baby Jesus in swaddling cloths and Manger as described by the Angels. They were overjoyed. One of them left the baby Lamb to Jesus as a gift.

What a wonderful night...

Third Day Of Chinese New Year - Balik City

We came back KL on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. As usual, we went Pasar Payang to look look see see if got anything to borong or not.

A walk through the Memory Lane.

Wow...such a big bunch of banana. Borong this? Don't want ah? Why? Eeeee....rupa rupa the top looks nice but the bottom of the bunch was rotten one. Nasib baik didn't buy.

Saw this BIG Cili Kering. Larger than Mamarazzi's palm size. RM2 for 100gm. Hmm...wonder it's use to cook what. Maybe STP would know.

Hmm..not many people selling stuffs. Still "raya" mood? But still managed to borong some kuih muih and junk food.

After the borong-ing, it's time to heads home.

Stopped awhile in Kemaman to get angpau from meet up with Auntie Chen Chzan and family.

Ngum ngum ..Auntie Chen Chzan's brother was around and he served us authentic Balinese food.

Hmm...wonder what he work as coz the food presentation was very tasteful but too bad Mamarazzi walloped without snapping photo of it first.

He got the food from The Uma at Kota Damansara. It seems that the owner of the restaurant went to Bali village to learn authentic Balinese cuisine. The person whom this owner learnt from also the family which her brother helped to start homestay business in their kampung.

Mamarazzi ate a bit. She said yummy wor. A lot of spices. Do check out this restaurant if you happens to crave for Balinese food. Address : 7-G & 7-1 Jalan PJU 5/21, The Strand, Kota Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya . Tel : 03-6142 2771.

As usual, Auntie Chen Chzan will tapau a lot of food for us to take along just in case we got hungry on the road.

This year was the same too and with some addition. Auntie Jenna was there too and she also tapau-ed her famous Kek Lapis for us.

Thank goodness for the cake. Look at the jam. Front jam...back also jam...Crawl started before the Bentong Toll.

Want or not? Manyak sedap one. One piece is not enough. At least can fill my tummy a bit la. And Petronas also gave out free Coffee and Free Twister drinks.

Haha! I found one more thing. Auntie Chen Chzan's cookies. I want eat this. This year Mamarazzi gila goreng and Auntie Chen Chzan pulak on baking frenzy. Came home Mamarazzi found that she had baked so many types of cookies for me!

Haiyo...sit till bum bum also flat liao lo...Stuck in the jam for 4  hours...Siang also jadi malam.

Cantik or not? It's not a tongkat la. It's book Thong. Auntie Jenna made one. So talented.

Second Day Of Chinese New Year 2011-The Story Of Keropok Lekor

The whole morning I was playing with "girl-girl". Then Mamarazzi said wanna get some Keropok Lekor and help Auntie Little bIrd to find her Ikan MasinTalang. Ish...ada ka patut CNY go and find Ikan Masin. Tarak pantang nevermind la. Else will riuh satu dunia.

Too tired. I slept in the car.

We went to Seberang Takir. There is one shop famous for its Keropok Lekor. But then sadly that shop was not open. Had to cincai tembak one shop.

We went in this shop and Papa asked the Makcik there how much a piece. She quoted us 60sens a piece. We placed our ordered.

While waiting for or order to be wrapped, a group of Malays enter the shop and asked the price. The Makcik quoted them 50sens a piece.

Papa over heard that and asked the Makcik again how much a piece. The Makcik says 60sens. Then Papa asked why just now she quoted the Malay 50 sens. She evaded the question and said price had gone up for more than a month.

Mamarazzi was going to cancel the order but then the keropok lekor have been wrapped.

Mamarazzi was not satisfied so we went back to get some more from the usual shop which we buy from in Losong. Alamak! so many people. Very long queue and the queue does not seems to be moving at all.

Mamarazzi bought me a 100 Plus to cool down. *By the way, auntie Little Bird you hutang me one 100 plus*

While Papa was queueing up, Mamarazzi borong some keropok and the Ikan Masin Talang for Auntie Little Bird.

 Heavy ah.....

Sad story..half way queueing up, the seller say no more fish....no more fish mean no more keropok lekor la...

Off we went to another stall...Ngap! geram...finally got my keropok lekor.

For lunch and dinner, Ah Mah cooked Laksa.

Kaw Kaw Lay Chit, laksa laksa laksa laksa laksa *evil grinz*

After visiting the ancestors we went rounding at Chinatown again. Hmm..this round can see the decorations much clearer.

 Very "ang" everywhere.
The Chinese Temple that caught fire last year had yet to be re-built. Still using the temporary premises. More or less the same crowd of people waiting by the side of the temple to wish the temple goers "Gong Xi Fatt Chai".

 Uiks?

The tree got so many "ang" cloth geh? Wishing tree ah?

Don't think K.T very kampung place ah...here got Guardian, KFC, Pizza Hut, Giant, McD, Vincci and even Clarks shoes shop leh.

The town getting more and more congested. They even built a new multi-tier car-park. But according to Ah Kong it's rather expensive wor. RM5 per hour.

 Alamak...my tummy starting to rumble.

Drive to Jalan Petani. Wanna buy Nasi Minyak John.

Wah lau eh ...normally 9.30am open liao wor...today 10am baru open..open aje everyone crowd around to buy. Memang laris.

 Hmm....Papa manage to buy la....
