Kau Yok Fried Bihun at Pan Heong, Batu Caves

I can hear someone groaning already..what? Pan Heong again??? What to do? We have only just so many mouth and our tummy can only take so much only. Can't test every food they have there one short.
Once again we order the delicious fried Fu Chuk.
 And the yummy Fish porridge.

I can't get enough of the porridge. Left hand one spoon..right hand one spoon. Sumbat all into my mouth.

Then comes the "VIP" ..Kau Yok Fried Bihun. Very generous amount of Kau Yok. Taste...really good wor. Wish they would give more Bihun instead of the Kau Yok coz we nearly cannot finish all the Kau Yok.

Total bill comes up to RM40 something. Meal for four adults and a kid. Not bad ya.

Restaurant Makanan Laut Ying Jia, Happy Garden

First of all...Happy Wedding for those who are getting married today, 11.1.2011.

This is another late post. Went to have Christmas Eve dinner with my Dear.

Wah...ngum ngum Auntie Cynthia made a batch of Ginger Bread boy and girl.

Can I eat ? Huh...not for eating one ah...for decoration only ya.

But luckily we didn't have to wait long for the food to be serve.

As for the "waiter" pulak...haiz...*shake head* Kept reminding him there are 5 person and he kept bringing the wrong numbers of "pinggan mangkuk". Kejap bring 3 plates..Kejap bring 4 bowls..kejap 5 forks and kejap 4 spoon. Kelakar betul...like Mr Bean.

The first dish was Yam with Pork. Taste ...hmm..okay okay la...It was bit too salty for Mamarazzi, but each person have different idea on saltiness. Portion quite big.

Then comes the Sotong. Mamarazzi had intended to post up this post on that night itself to tease Auntie Cleffairy but she was too tired when we got home.

Mamarazzi ordered "Sei Dai Thean Wong". Hmmm..this dish was rather...ahem ahem...ya memang have 4 types of beans but Kacang Panjang and French Bean???..Taste rather not as good as when it's cooked with brinjal. The portion for this dish was very big.

I love to drink soup. Hence Mamarazzi ordered "Salted Vegetabe Soup" for us lo.  Mamarazzi drank one sip and geleng kepala.Tarak suit her taste. End up korek the things inside to eat only. Didn't drink the soup.

See..my Dear eat so "Si Mun". Not even two years old yet and feed herself using fork and spoon. Clever leh?

While Mamarazzi said I eat like a dog. Messy messy everywhere. Rice on my baju, rice on my pants and even on my head.

Hmm...the usual Chef must have been on leave that night coz we have been to this restaurant before. Previously  the food was not bad wor.

Hawker Food at Restaurant Hoong Fook, Seri Petaling

When we arrived K.L after the journey back from Ipoh, we went delivering goodies from Ipoh to friends

The last stop was Seri Petaling.

Finished delivering barang, our tum tum were growling also. Then Mamarazzi suggested we eat at Restaurant Hoong Fook. Quite a lot of Hawkers food there and the food were not bad also

Mamarazzi ordered the famous Yong Tauhu from a stall there. RM0-90 a piece. Taste good and the soup is brew from pure fish bones.

Papa felt like eating Char Keoy Teow. Fried by a "foreigner" but surprisingly the taste was quite good.

Mamarazzi and me had Hokkien Mee. The Hokkien Mee by this stall have enough "Wok Hei" and ample crunchy pork lard. Anyway, the "Siew Chow" by this stall is normally taste good. Mamarazzi used to "tapau" from this stall previously.

Papa wanted to have Fried Oyster so Mamarazzi went and order a small plate of RM7. Hmm...the eggs was quite crunchy. Not bad. Hmm...if only they would put more oyster into it then it would be wonderful.

Overall, it was a good meal.

Bedtime Stories And Prayers - The Story Of Easter Sunday

The story of Easter Sunday is the last story in Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories and Prayer book.

Last week, the story of Jesus death. It was a Friday. It was a sad day for Jesus friends and family.

Saturday came and went. Then came Sunday.

A group of women went tho the caves where the body of Jesus was placed. They planned to anoint the body with sweet spices but then they remember a great big stone was placed in front of the cave. They were thinking of how to get rid of the stone.

But when they arrived at the cave, they were surprised that the stone were moved. The body of Jesus was no longer there. But a young man dressed in a dazzling white robe was sitting nearby. They were very frightened.

Then the Angel told them not to be afraid and that Jesus had risen from death. He told the women to go and tell Jesus's disciples the news and that they would soon see Jesus again.

Mary Magdelene also went to the cave that morning and found that Jesus body no longer there. Instead she found two Angels there. They asked her why she cry. She told them that she cried because Jesus body was taken away and now she does not know where he is.

As sheturned to leave, she found a man standing behind her. She was temporary blinded by tears and she could not see the man's face clearly.

The man asked her why she cried. Once again Mary told him and asked if he know the new resting place of Jesus. Then Jesus spoke a word to her so lovingly and she immediately know that it was Jesus standing in front of her.

Oh joy of joy...Jesus had risen again as he said he would and he went around comforting his friends before he went to his Father. in heaven

Now that is a lovely story. It's also end of this Enid Blyton book. What shall Mamarazzi write for next weekend? You want to hear more Bible stories or what?

Play, Jalan-Jalan and Cari Makan in Ipoh

After the heavy breakfast, we went to the BIG playground near the hotel. I had great fun. Lovely weather and a lot of people around. There were some aunties and jie jie doing line dancing there too.

But for me, am more attracted  with the Playland there. Then Papa and Mamarazzi got tired chasing me around. They bising wanna go back.

Back to the car we went...then "ring ring! ring ring!". Look see look see ..it was Auntie Claire calling. Asked if we are at the hotel coz she is bringing something over.

Guess what? It's Swiss Roll. Ipoh famous JJ Cakes Swiss Roll. Chempedak Swiss Roll?

Mamarazzi saw the plastic bag and was curious about the shop. So we went and hunt for the shop. Aiks...Jalan Tokong also tarak this shop...Jalan Kampar also don't have.

Called the numbers on the plastic, tarak orang angkat. Finally called Jennifer Liau number and she answerd. She gave direction to the shop.

Pengsan...when arrived at the shop, we found that it's at Jalan Chung Thye Pin. Rupa-rupanya, this shop have moved and this is the new premises. When Mamarazzi asked, the man say they have excess plastic bag from previous shop so they continue using the plastic with the old address. Haiz...really "wan sei yan" loh....

Mamarazzi went and buy another roll of Mixed fruit Swiss Roll on top of the Mixed Vegetable Swiss Roll which Auntie Claire gave.

Rather expensive leh...one box like this ranges between RM12 to RM15. But then it taste very delicious. Melt in the mouth. Next time go Ipoh must buy some more.

Can you see the fruit oozing out there?

Then Mamarazzi sibuk buy "hand letters" to bring home pulak...heong peah, pomelo, salted chicken and etc.

Wah lau eh...all these is making me pening liao. Need some food. Time to makan at Lou Wong.

Pass me the drink first. Thirsty.

Very clever contraption to prevent the glasses from falling.

The famous Taugeh. Haiz....taugeh on diet again. Where are all the buncit taugeh???

This round the Steamed Chicken were delicious!

I had rice while Mamarazzi had Keoy Teow soup. Also very tasty.

Perut kenyang..and it's time to go home lor.....

Buffet Breakfast At Polo Cafe Heritage Hotel, Ipoh

The next morning, we rise early. Lovely view from our hotel room.

Went downstairs to the Polo Cafe to have the complimentary Buffet Breakfast. The Cafe have a very nice environment.

Got fish swimming leh. Maybe I'll catch a fish for breakfast?

Quite a large variety of food. Got chinese, western and our usual Malaysian  Nasi Amak!(Nasi Lemak)

The Nasi Lemak smell really great leh.

Mamarazzi took a plate of Nasi Lemak. But then this Nasi Lemak really alamak lo...why? coz the rice not fully cooked leh. End up eating the Curry Chicken only. Not bad la the taste.

Then I try some Western food pulak. You can't go wrong with western food right?

Mamarazzi saw some mini pau and granned 3 for me. I ate one only. Not that nice. They have peeled off the paper at the bottom of the Pau and steamed it on top of Banana leaf. Hmm....feels kinda weird lo.

Last but not least, I also had noodles...my favourite!

I really love to show off my "slurping" skills.

Hmm...tum tum full already and it's time to go shopping pulak.

Hytex Warehouse Sale & SOGO Sale

It was a rainy morning. So syok to sleep. But then my sleep was disturbed by Mamarazzi. Sibuk say wanna go Warehouse Sale wor. Say wanna get some cheap baju and shoes for me.

Oh? For Me? Of course lah I cepat-cepat wake up.

We went for Hytex Warehouse Sale at Dewan Serbaguna, MPS Taman Ehsan, Jalan E3/13, Selayang, Kuala Lumpur

The sale is on from now till 16 January 2011.

The first thing Mamarazzi did when we arrived was to dragged me to the shoes section. From previous experience, this sale normally offer very good selections of shoes.

Memang this round they have a large selection of shoes but the the size are pretty limited. Mamarazzi managed to grab these two pairs of Disney Shoes for me. A bit large but no worries as my feet grow very fast. Inherited BIG FOOT from Papa.

The pair on the left cost RM20 while the one on the right cost RM30. Not bad lar considering the original price tag from Jusco was RM69-90.

Sad to say, this round there wasn't much baju for kids year 3 to 5 years old. Mamarazzi only managed to grab a few pieces.

The Grey baju on the top is for 4 years old kid priced RM10 while the velvet pant was priced RM15.

The blue long sleeve shirt was price RM15. Not bad.

Only managed to get 3 T-Shirt for me. All priced RM8. Two are size 4 while the other one was size L. The short was RM5.

However, there are good selection for Babies and toddler clothing. Price ranges from RM5 to RM8.

There are a wide selection for older kids and teens too.

Stocks are moving fast. Saw some aunties sorting their large hoards of clothing.

After going to the Hytex warehouse sale, Mamarazzi was not satisfied. Coz only managed to get one pant for me. Even that pant also not that nice.

Papa asked wanna go SOGO or not. SOGO also having sale till 16 January 2011. Of course lah Mamarazzi jumped at the opportunity.

This round we got a better hoard. Managed to get 3 pants for me at RM25 and RM20 each. Also managed to get 3 more baju from KIKO and KIKILALA brand for me. Price RM16 and below. Not bad ya?

But best of all is that I've got free cookies. Not from Hytex nor from SOGO but from my Dear's mommy. She is planning to do Chinese New Year Cookies wor. And I "volunteer" to be the White Mice lo. Taste? Goooooooood.

Hmmm...maybe I'll ask Mamarazzi to order from Auntie Cynthia to bring back for Ah Kong and AH Mah to eat on Chinese New Year.
