Wedding Dinner At Tropicana Grand Ballroom, Ipoh

The reason we went to Ipoh last Christmas was to attend a relative's wedding, which was held at Tropicana Grand Ballroom.

Eee...they gave Beryl's Chocolates, just like in my Khai Yeh's wedding.

Hmm...I'm in a "paparazzi" mode. Anak-razzi in training.

 But before that, must makan first or else no energy. Snapping photos is hard work leh.

The first dish, "Happiness 5 Hot and Cold Combinations".

 I love this. This is GOOD. One thumb up...coz the other was busy holding the fork. 

 Next comes individual "pot" of "Braised Broth Soup with Seafood Treasure.

This one was very delicious also. But half way eating, I had some small business to do. When I came back, my soup soup hilang-ed liao.

*sob*sob* I asked Papa "Where my soup-soup?" . I want my soup souppppppp........

Steam Chicken With Soy Sauce. Hmmm...first time having this dish in a wedding. A nice change from the usual roast chicken. The Vegetable was fresh and young. The chicken meat was tender and juice.

 Then come the BIG toast. Ah Kong and Ah Mah went up the stage with the rest of the elders.

 Yummm......Seng!!!!!.....while me at the bottom of the stage pretending to snap photographs.

Alamak!...after I finished snapping "photographs" , the fish tinggal kepala and tulang only. Don't worry. There are ample share coz Mamarazzi have taken some for me and Papa when we were busy snapping photos.

Baked White Prawns with Honey Sauce were delicious too. I walloped 2-3 prawns on my own.

Mamarazzi said it taste better if wash down with a glass of "Ribena". There was free flow of "Ribena" the whole night. Mamarazzi really had quite a few glasses. Maybe that's why she slept like an "oink oink" when we got back to the hotel.

The next dish is Braised Mixed Vegetable with Brown Sauce. Not one of my favourite dish coz I don't like vegetables much. But aren't most kids hates vegetables?

Ah.....this one I like. Fried Rice.

I better ngap fast fast before the "yum Seng" group come. The group sudah sampai the table next to ours already

Most members at our table also ngap-ed fast fast coz later the Yum Seng group comes, saliva might spray all over the rice.

Last but not least, Double Boiled Soya Milk With Lotus Seeds & Snow Fungus and Sweet Duet.

Hmmm...this round dancing session not syok. Tarak girl girl dance with me. Only one boy boy kept wanting to dance with me. We end up playing chase coz I don't wanna dance with Boy Boy leh.

Medan Selera, Stadium Ipoh

After makan-makan at Auntie Claire's house, we still have a bit of room in the tummy. Hence, Auntie Claire brought us to the famous Medan Selera at Stadium Ipoh

Wah lau eh...she must be a regular customer coz the taukeh of this Simee Beef Noodle stall seems to know her.

 

Ordered already the Beef Noodle, time for sweet dessert pulak

 Jeng-jeng-jeng....Taufu far . "Pak siut siut, wat liut-liut" yummy. 

 But what I love the most is this. Ice Blended Red Bean with Soya.

 

It's GOOD..with two thumbs up. Satu not enough...we had another one.

Uiks? Bila pulak call Yong Taufu? Cheeky Auntie Claire..quietly called YTF especially the Sai Toh Fishball for me to eat.

Here comes the Noodle and the Beef....It's a bit different from Petaling Street ones. This soup is clearer as compared to the Petaling Street punya. The Mixed Beef taste good and tender. Not tough. Mamarazzi like.

But what I love the most is the noodle. I love noodle.

Once again, thank you very much Auntie Claire for this treat.

She is having "photography" session with Auntie Claire, Auntie Elin and Jie Jie Joanna.

 So...what do you do during your free time? Got a boyfriend yet?

 Eh..eh..eh....why tangkap me pulak. I tengah syok syok playing with Labbie leh

Wah....got Chocolate Cake to eat ah...looks yummy....eh...the rest of you eat the small pieces la...I'll kau tim the rest of the cake, ok?

Wow! Even have The Heart of Passion Cookies leh. Lucky me! I got to taste this cookies. Jangan jealous. They are delicious.

Aiyo...Mamarazzi got the "penyakit muka tembok". Don't know jangkit from who? Makan not enough. Take pressie from Auntie Elin lagi.

No..no...it's not Domino Pizza...the kotak aje...it's one BIG BOX of Christmas Fruit Cake made by Auntie Elin

Wah lau eh..open aje the aluminium foil can smell the rum...*pa rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum*. Cubit a bit...mmm... yum...not too sweet.

Mamarazzi also got pressie from Jie Jie Joanna wor.. Thank you very much, Jie Jie. I guess Mamarazzi will be burning midnight oil soon.

Well, that is not all to the story...there is a part 2 leh.

Kedai Kopi Sin Yoon Loong at Old Town Ipoh

Those who read Auntie Claire's blog would know that we went to Ipoh on Christmas day.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Cari makan all the way. Auntie Claire punya pasal la...always post up delicious looking food in her blogs.

Mamarazzi recalled Auntie Josephine brought them to this Kedai Kopi Sin Yoon Loong to have the famous Ipoh White Coffee before. Lucky Papa still remember the way.After a few wrong turning we found the shop. Alamak...so fully of people.

The first order of business of course la order the White Coffee and the roti bakar.

Hmm....my first time having this White Coffee. Memang ada UMPH!.

 

Papa ordered Chee Cheong Fun while Mamarazzi ordered Yong Taufu Noodle soup for me. The CCF was not bad la..

I love my bowl of noodle. The fishball very sedap. Boing boing one...but the "Sengkuang YTF" was not to my taste. Mamarazzi said the soup a bit too salty. Hmm....maybe boil long already gua that's why salty.

 For me, I hentam aje...don't know which one to eat first? Roti? Noodle? CCF? Kuih muih?

Aiyoyo....so many things to eat..so little time. See! so many things being sold in front of the shop. I wanted to taste everything but Mamarazzi said have to save some room for later wor.

Guess what did we had after this?

Bedtime Stories And Prayers - The Story Of Good Friday

Now comes to the saddest story in the Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories and Prayers.

Jesus was taken prisoner because he had enemy who accused him of declaring himself King among people and causing unrest among the people.

His punishment? To be nailed on a cross made of wood and be left there till he die. Cruel.

With him was two robbers who are also condemned to the same punishment.

 

 

His enemy were cruel. Put a crown made of thorns on his head. Unlike the hat on this clown. 

He was made to carry the heavy wooden cross.

 Each time Jesus fell down, the guards would beat him and make him get up again. The guards were very fierce. More fierce than this one.

At last he can no longer get up and carry the cross. The guards caught a man called Simon of Cyrene and forced him to carry for Jesus.

 Finally they came to the place. Jesus was nailed to the cross. The robbers were nailed to theirs too. They mocked him. One said "You said you are the King of Jews, Saviour of all men. Then why don't you save yourself and us too"

The other robber looked at Jesus face and felt ashamed. He said to the first robber " you and I have done wrong and should be punished. But this man have done no wrong"

 Jesus saw Mary was weeping bitterly and John, one of his disciple was trying to comfort her. Even in his pain, he think of others first.

He said to John " Behold! your mother" and to Mary "Behold,your son". They thus understood that they are to be like mother and son to each other.

With this Jesus  gave a loud cry " Father, into your hand I entrust my spirit" and he said no more.

Happy New Year! Doing any New Year shopping today? Gosh...I went to Midvalley for Christmas Shopping  just before Christmas.

Wah lau eh..really "human mountain, human sea"...have to have "KungFu" to navigate among the shoppers and non-shoppers there.

The good news is that Mamarazzi got me a set of folding cardboard paper which  Chloe's Mommy had blogged about. Have to request from the Customer Information Counter.

Hmmm...a rather scary place. Got gigantic toys that suddenly "boing" out punya.

The toys also looks rather intimidating

 Gee....the man in the white uniform must be the leader of the toy soldier that comes alive at night...scary looking...so fierce geh.

Saw many people snapping photographs with the toys especially kids.There were some adult having their photo snapped too...in moderation.

But there was an ah moi in blue that really beats them all. Gaya pusing here and pushing there. Heavily make-up some more. Even go into the restricted area. Haiz....don't know which one is scarier. Hmmm...really double standard la...the fierce guard tarak halau her one but halau kids from the area pulak.

 

Argh...like that I also wanna gaya la ...nah...cute or not...?

Didn't find anything that I like....except for this...bring this home can ah? Can be come my "dumbbells". Start the new year right with lotsa exercise. Correct or not?

Papa was surprised to see my "tikus" and commented that kecil-kecil already have "tikus". Of course lah..I eat a lot and exercises a lot also mah!

Kota Damansara Neighborhood FoodCourt

 

Lembik already. Hungry ah. Once again don't know what to eat. Then, Papa recall there is a new food court in town. Not really new la but kira new to us la. Kota Damansara Neighborhood FoodCourt.

The first round we went, Papa had the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun. Taste not bad but Mamarazzi would love the thinner skin type

Mamarazzi had the Prawn Noodle. Portion quite big and soup base not bad also.

 Papa was not feeling that well the first round, so he had Mix Pork Poridge

 Mamarazzi knew that I love noodle so she prdered Wan Tan Mee for me. She ordered the flat Wan Tan Noodle but don't know why it come mixed with the thin noodle pulak

On our second round at the Food Court, Papa had Lemon Tea while Mamarazzi had Kedongdong juice

Mamarazzi order Salted Fish with Pork steam rice for me while Papa had the Pork with Yam Steam rice.

 Mamarazzi had Nasi Lemak. Tasty but rather expensive at RM6.

Perut kenyang hati senang liao loh.
