Restoran Ah Seong, Jalan Jakar, Kemaman

As I have said in last week post, Auntie Woo belanja us makan lunch. She brought us to this restaurant where we meet up with Uncle Wan and Kor Kor Jon. It was raining. Mamarazzi didn't notice the street name.

It should be at Jalan Jakar since it's same row as Thong Aik Omnibus Co S/B and that company is at Jalan Jakar

Claypot Taufu. Just nice for me. Did Uncle Wan ask them to put extra gravy? Sedap to put onto rice and eat.

Aiyo...Belacan Kangkung. Mamarazzi really muka tebal. Walloped nearly whole plate. Licin. Can use as mirror.

This is the first time we had this. Deep fried Yau Char Guai with Mayonise. Very very crunchy and yummy. Next round have to go back to this shop for this.

Fried Chicken in Lemon Sauce. Not bad. But makan so many dish really makes me sleepy lor. Some more it was raining leh. *snore*

Thank you very much Uncle Wan, Auntie Woo, Kor Kor Jon and Baby Isaac for this lovely meal.

Bedtime Stories And Prayers - The Last Story That Jesus Told

It's the 31st story in the book. Also the last one. This last story in Enid Blyton's Bedtime Stories and Prayers is the best of all

Jesus said when he come again, all the people who have ever lived in the world will be brought before him.

Like the Shepherd, he will separate the sheep and the goats. The good sheep will be at his right and the bad goats will be at his left.

He would say to the good sheep that they are welcomed into the Kingdom of God for when he was hungry, they fed him; when he was thirsty, they gave him drinks; when he was a stranger, they welcomed him; when he was in rags, they gave him clothes to wear ; and when he was sick, the visited him in his prison.

Those good sheep would ask when did they do all those things. And Jesus would reply "when ever you did all these things to the very least and poorest person, you did it to me.

And then Jesus would tell those in the left to depart in sorrow for they did not give help when he was in need.

They too would be surprised at that for they would say they never saw Jesus in need before. Jesus would replay the same " you did not do these things to people who is in need of help, you did not do this for me".

Moving story or not? This is Christmas month. Do look around you and help those who is in need of help if you can....but must be within reason la.

Makan-ed All The Way & Reckless Driving

On our journey back also non-stop eating. These are also called Keropok Lekor also but the colour is white instead of dark grey. These are smaller in size too. Bought from Kampung Tiong(Cina).

I can tell u that the Cili is super duper "HOT". Very spicy and very strong smell of belacan.

When we stopped at Petronas, Papa bought an Ice Cream. Yum yum.....

Not that far off Mamarazzi saw these two crazy buses. They were going very fast and sort of chasing each other. Kept over taking cars.

From there you can estimate how fast these buses were going if they can over take cars like that.

No wonder there are so many accidents involving buses.

Then we arrive at Kijal. Mamarazzi wanted to get the famous lemang but the usual Gerai No 8 was not open.

Papa had to buy from Gerai No 9. Does not taste as good.

Ngum ngum this Gerai No9 gave some Otak-Otak and Satar. Papa bought some. 30 sen a piece

I saw Kaw Kaw opened a batang to eat. Before she can stop me, I took one too. Opened and sumbat-ed the Otak-otak into my mouth.

Bee boo bee boo..I'm on Fire~I'm on Fire~ Spicy ah....waterrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Then Mamarazzi peeled "Satar" . It's made of fish paste with cili padi.  I dare not touch.

Soon we arrived Auntie Woo's house. She brought us to makan at a restaurant nearby.

Not only that she belanja us makan but also gave us plenty of foooood. Satay, roti bun, Kelapa Pandan and this delicious coconut jelly.

The jelly very delicious. The coconut was very young and the jelly taste very sweet.

But then the horror...Papa started to feel very sleepy after the heavy meal and the non-stop munching since "bertolak" from Ah Mah's home.

Papa asked Kaw Kaw to takeover. Alamak....scary...very worrying leh...Kaw Kaw know how to drive in Malaysian road or not.

No eyes see lor..I tidur with Papa la. But mind you...my seat belt is still on. You can't see the lower straps only

Haiz....sampai near Genting, saw another speeding bus. Hmmm...I thought all heavy vehicles are supposed to stay in the left lane?

No matter la...it's time to cari makan again.

Kuih Bom & Carrot Cake at Kampung Cina Market, Kuala Trengganu

Well, as usual..on the morning before we came back KL. We went food hunting again. This round to bring back KL.

First we went to Pasar Payang to collect the Paung (roti bun) from my Grand Uncle who have a noodle stall there.

Saw a lot of fresh vegetable. Then Papa saw some buah Salak. RM7/kg. Bought some.

Then we went to the Pasar at the Kampung Tiong(Cina). Can any one translate what's written here? "Old..." what?

Everytime we come here, Papa would buy his favourite Carrot Cake. The ones in the yellow plastic bag are not fried yet. Can buy back and fry.

There are a lot of Kuih Muih here. Not very enviromental friendly for using a lot of plastic, but at least it look clean.

Mind you, don't expect it to be cheap. One packet of Kuih cost around RM1-30, usually 3 or 4 pieces in it.

Then Mamarazzi noticed this stall selling "Yau Char Guai".

Top- Mah Kiok & Ham Chim Peah. Wow..the Mah Kiok so long one leh. Very sexy.

Bottom-Looks like Ham Chim Peah but it's not. Can you guess what is the "inti" apart from red bean? It's durian paste!  Durian bom! and another is Fish Bom.

This is what the one with Fish inti looks like. At first Mamarazzi bought 4 pieces. Then Papa ngap-ed all. We went there one more round to buy 6 more pieces.

This is buah Salak. Geli or not? The skin looks a bit like snake skin. I see Kaw Kaw syok-syok eat this. Papa said the ones from Indonesia taste nicer.

With our hoards, it was time for us to go back KL.

Shall I Steal Christmas Tree From BookXcess?

Everyone are busy putting up Christmas Tree. I also wanna put la.

Huh...so complicated one...just dump everything on top cannot ah?

Maybe I should just curi the one from Bookxcess. See...these two are the photographs that Mamarazzi "curi-ed" from BookXcess Facebook. Their tree so big and got so many beautiful Christmas decorations.

Mamarazzi happens to see this lovely offer in BookXcess Facebook page also. They are having Christmas Christmas Promotions again.

Also the annual Charity Drive. Last year we went and join in the fun. Mamarazzi just need to pick a pre-wrapped book from under the Christmas Tree and paid at the counter. Then they will send the book to the kids and the homes.

I wonder will it be the same this year?

Maybe I'll ask Papa to bring me there next weekend coz by next weekend sure got a lot of people going there for Christmas shopping. Sure nobody will notice when I curi their beautiful Christmas Tree. No need susah susah decorate own Christmas Tree.

Kedai Makanan Seri Binjai, Kuala Trengganu

Papa said he used to makan at this shop last time. If it is not mistaken, It's located in front of the traffic light of Jalan Sultan Ismail Near Hotel Seri Malaysia

Had fish. Not bad lah

Satay beef. Rather tough for Mamarazzi's old teeth.

Two piece of Beef. The kuah was nice but the meat was tough.

One plate of Ulam.

Total damage for this meal plus two cans of 100Plus RM20 plus minus.

Kira okay or not?

We also went to hunt for keropok lekor at Losong. Bought from the "Adik-Beradik" shop that Yee Poh recommended last time.

While we were there, I saw a man was plucking mangoes from the tree. Some mangoes fell onto the ground and I ran to pick up one. Was amazed by that.

Mana tau the lady saw me playing with the mango, she told me to "ambil-lah". So Papa  got a small plastic bag from the stall to put that mango in.
I thought the lady would put the one I picked up into the plastic bag. But mana tau she put so many into the plastic bag. Very generous of her.

Yay...can give to My Dear's punya Mummy to make into kerabu mango and hope that she won't be angry with me for hugging the girl girl la.

Changes Near The Kuala Trengganu Market

Quite a huge change in K.Trengganu this round . The road in Kampung Cina previously was one way also but this round it's one way the opposite side. Kena people "honk honk-ed" when we drove in.

Then behind the row of shops they have built this very white water front.

Very nice view at night.

The place where the clock tower used to be.

The Pasar Payang is still there. Heard they are moving. True or not?

The good news is the parking rate remains the same. Let's hope this won't change.
