Gift From Australia

There was a "Knock! Knock!" and a "Hello! Hello!" just now. Wow! Mr Postman came and brighten this painful and cloudy Wednesday.

He brought 3 things.

I cut open ah?

Wah lau eh! a gift from Wenn? Last round she came back from Taiwan, she send me a lovely fridge magnet wor. I wonder what is in the envelope.

Wow! Keychain! got Kangaroos boing boing boing one leh. Mamarazzi said Kangaroo keep their babies in the pocket wor. Hmm...these Kangaroo tarak wear baju ones. I wonder where is the baby.

Thank you very much, Wenn. Very thoughtful of you.

As for the 2nd and 3rd items..it's from another person. To be revealed in next post as Mamarazzi wanna rest first.

Mamarazzi Gila Babi

Shocked at the title? Not meant to scold but Mamarazzi really gila babi...literally. She been searching high and low for pork to eat. Pregnant? Don't think so. Maybe the worms in the tummy are tired of chicken daily.

Yawn..Ban Huat again. Been here nearly every month. Hope not the same dishes again. Am getting bored having the same dishes even if the readers aren't bored reading about it.

Thank goodness this round since Mamarazzi craving for pork, Papa ordered Pork Trotter. Alamak! they only have one size. That's how we end up with such a big platter.

Sei loh...can finish or not? So much. Nevertheless, we managed to finished the whole thing. Papa didn't like the gravy but Mamarazzi love it. Maybe coz long time didn't have this dish gua. The meat was juicy and not tough at all.

Kangkung fried with garlic. The Kangkung was very young. Underage. Taste very sweet.

Claypot Taufu. As usual. Taste good. We didn't finish this coz too full already.

Mamarazzi crave for pork and Papa crave for crab pulak. Thus we order steamed crabs. The size of the crabs were rather small but the portion was big. The crabs were fresh and sweet.

Guess how much the bills comes up to? Mamarazzi thought it would be around RM85 since the crabs alone and the pork would have cost around rm30 each. Portion were very big. Surprisingly the bills comes up to RM65 only plus a pot of Chinese tea and rice.

Here is the address. No 39 Jalan Kati U19E, Taman Medan Mas, Kg. Baru Sungai Buloh 0126707873.(Ah Zhan Jie).

New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice, Kota Damansara

This is a very late post. Happen during school holidays when Ah Kong and Ah Mah came for a visit.

They like Chicken Rice and ngum ngum we were at Kota Damansara. Thus we decided to makan at the newly open New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice at Sunway Giza.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. Better than the Jalan Gasing and Seri Petaling branch.

Ah Kong browsing thru the Menu.

Mamarazzi had Jasmine Tea

Papa had Lime with Asamboi drink. Once again, taste too sweet. Guess the restaurant had no problem in obtaining sugar despite there was a strike by retailer during that period.

Haiz...this waiter seems to be looking for trouble. Maybe nobody taught him never to serve food nor drinks from the kid side. End up tumpah. Me pulak kena scolding.

Chicken Feet Skin Kerabu. Taste okay.

The Roast Pork was very good. Crunchy and nice.

Chicken internal thingy. Good.

Fish ball and meat ball. Bouncy but Ah Kong said the the Fishball not enough fish in it. Too much flour.

"Choy Yin" Chicken. Taste very good. Just nice. The chicken was not too old. Meat not tough.

What's Ipoh Chicken Rice without its Taugeh. Fat and juicy.

Overall, satisfied with the food served here though the service needs some improvement.

Pa Chan Soup Down The Drain

Really salute this 99 Speedmart lah. Apa also they sell. Mamarazzi was surprised to see that they even sell prepacked Chinese Herbal Soup ingredient.

She bought a packet of Pa Chan Soup. Said to be good for female to drink after they have their monthly "friend's visit".

Frankly, Mamarazzi never had Pa Chan Soup before. She though it was just like the normal Chinese Herbal Soup.

How to open this packet ah? Must use hammer ah? Need to put the ingredient into the Slow Cooker to boil leh. Should be just nice to drink the next day.

Next morning woke up. Yuck! what is that "smell". The whole house stinks leh.

Mamarazzi! You are not feeding me that that that whatever you call it. If not, I'll call Teledera.

Mamarazzi thus had a spoonful of the Pa Chan Soup. Made a face. Well...let just say the whole pot end up down the drain.

Bedtime Stories And Prayers By Enid Blyton-The Little Man Who Climb The Tree

Mamarazzi bought a "Tiki Mouse" balloon for me from the Pasar Malam. This balloon very naughty punya. Climb here and there. Kacau me eating.

It love to climb up up up..very high. Just like Zacchaeus in Enid Blyton's story.

It was sad a long time ago in the town of Jerico, there was a tax collector called Zacchaeus. Nobody liked him for they says that he took more money from them than he should have.

One day he here that the great preacher, Jesus, is coming to town and he really wanted to see him.

He joined the crowd to welcome Jesus but when the crowd saw Zacchaeus, they pushed him behind. Blocking him for they didn't want him to see Jesus.

Then Zacchaeus had a great idea of climbing up a tree to look at Jesus. He climbed. He saw Jesus face. Such a noble face.

To his surprise, Jesus looked to him and told him to come down as Jesus wants to visit his home.

The crowd were unhappy. Outside Zacchaeus house they talked loudly of what a bad man Zacchaeus is. Zacchaeus was ashamed to have Jesus hearing bad things about him

Then Jesus looked at Zacchaeus with sad and kindly eyes which seems to say "oh Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, you have goodness in your heart and yet you have done so much wrong".

Zacchaeus knew that he must made amends and he did. Jesus was very happy for he had seen goodness in Zacchaeus heart and had made it grow.

Afternoon Teatime With Pontianak

Teatime. Got Cucur Udang, Pisang Goreng and Keropok Lekor from a Hantu. Typical Malay teatime food.

Hmm..this keropok lekor too tough for me. I guess I have better stick to the sweet crunchy Pisang Goreng.

Another Hantu presented Mamarazzi with this Pontianak book in a jest the other day. Scary looking cover ya.

Oh my! Oh my! what a long and sharp teeth she have. Kesian her dentist if she ever go for a scalling or dental works.

What is the story about? It's about Amira, a half Pontianak. Her father, Iskandar, was a human while her mother, Hamidah, was a Pontianak.

Her parents meet when he dad was researching the existence of Pontianak. Ngum ngum he heard there was Pontianak trouble in a village. He went and investigate. Came face to face with the Pontianak.

He heard her sad story where she was cheated by a rich man, Malek, and was murdered when she was pregnant with their out of wedlock child. She seek revenge.

He managed to turn the Pontianak into human by sticking a Golden Nail to her neck. Somehow after she turned into human, she had forgotten all about her past.

Iskandar fell in love with her and married her. Thru their union, they were blessed with a daughter, Amira. Unfortunately, Amira has Pontianak blood in her and thus have some of the powers of the Pontianak.

One day, her parents died of a mysterious death. Her mother's head were chopped off while her father died of a neck wound. She thought that her mother had somehow turned back into a Pontianak and killed her dad.

Many years later when she was in her 20s, Amira had a hard time in accepting any male courtship. She scared that she can't control her Pontianak impulses and might kill the man she love, like what she assumed her mother did.

At the same time, there surface some cases where girls died of horrible death. Head sever from their body.

A police officer, Farid investigate these cases. Several incidents leads him to meet Amira. He was smitten with Amira and vice versa. Love blossom in Amira's heart but what about her Pontianak blood? Might she not on day loose control and kill Farid?

Then he discover something that tied Amira to the crimes. Seems that all of the victims mother's name are Hamidah.

He cautioned Amira that she might be a target and put a surveillance on her.

One day, Amira was kidnapped. Amira managed to escape and be rescued. Through this experience, she knew that her parent were murders.

Before she can do much, her flatmate who is her best friend was kidnapped. They kidnapped Linda to set a trap for Amira.

The evil schemer was Malek. Amira's mother's lover. Malek wanted to kill Amira because he knew that Pontianak blood is in Amira's vein and one days she will come to know about Malek and that she will seek revenge.

Amira fell into the evil trap and she.......

oppsss...nearly give out spoiler pulak...wanna know ending...

Overall, Mamarazzi is pleasantly surprised at this "westernised" version of the horror story.
