How I Got The Spots...

That morning, we went to the large Playground that Mamarazzi had mentioned in her post December 2009.

I had fun running here and there. Like a monkey on the loose.

I climbed up up and up.

Then I go....

Weeeee...down the slide.

Ooo....this slide was rather steep.

Mamarazzi..don't let go of my hand ah.

Belum play long enough Mamarazzi already bising said HOT. Said go off.*angry*

Yay...is that Giant?

Hahaha...at Playland in Giant. Got air-conditioning and no sun.

Peekaboo...

Starting to ganas liao. Climbing up the slide from the "wrong side".

Weeee....

Then I saw the Bull that my "girlfriend" was riding the day before. And I climb onto it.

The day before, I saw a girl girl riding the Bull while I was riding the JetPlane. I tried to impress her with my TOPGUN pilot skills. But too bad her parents was there watching. I didn't get her phone number and she was not impressed by my dare devil flying skills.

But then when I came home that night, I discover that I have the SPOTS all over my head, feet and some part of my hand.

*Sob*sob* must've been bitten by the Sand flies while playing at the Playground near the beach. Aiyoyo...no more handsome boy liao and the next day is Chinese New Year. I have to drown my sorrow with a beer. But then that's another story......

Restaurant 88, Continental Park

Where oh where to Low Sang? Lucky got Foodbin's blog. Can snoop from there where to eat. Found this Restaurant 88 at 15, Jln Batalong (Don't laugh at this road name ya), Continental park, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama, K.L. (Contact : 012-3151335) thru Foodbin's blog. Actually we had pass by this restaurant countless times but never occurred to eat here.

It's Chinese New Year. Thus we ordered Yee Sang(half portion) RM23. Nice number ya?

Auntie Florence busy preparing the Yee Sang.

Me? Impatient to start to Low Sang lor.

Toss Toss Toss! Toss high high! Gong Xi! Gong Xi!

Aiks? Why everyone stopped geh? I tengah syok-syok toss leh.

Mmmm.. Yee Sang nice nice...yum yum...

Got angpau pulak.Thank you very much, Uncle Patrick.

Salted Egg Prawns...somehow looks like Butter Prawn geh. Love the "floss" but the prawns were tasteless. Not sweet at all though it's taste fresh.

Four Heavenly King. However, the Petai Heavenly King was still on CNY leave. He was being relief by Kacang Panjang Heavenly King. Still taste good though Petai Heavenly King was on leave.

Half a Steam Chicken with some Xiao Bai Chai. Taste good.

The "kicap" that goes with the Chicken. Not bad. Something new. Normally other restaurant would have given Chili Sauce instead of this special "kicap".

Steamed Patin. Rather expensive for the fish of this size. But that is expected la since it's CNY. It's normal for the price of fish to shoot sky rocket high during CNY. Taste quite good. Love the gravy. Yummy...I wonder what brand of "kicap" that the Chef used.

If Mamarazzi is not mistaken, this dish is called "3 Mushroom Tauhu". The rough translation la. Nice Nice. Mamarazzi likes the way the Taufu was fried and cooked.

Last but not least, Pomelo. After dinner fruit. A gift from a relative from Ipoh. Everyone enjoyed this very much. I kept asking for more from Mamarazzi.

Payment time. Boss kiraaaaaa..... I pay! I pay! I've got angpau. This round I can belanja pulak. The Boss accepted the money.

But then hor...when I arrived home I discovered an e-mail in Mamarazzi's Inbox. And it goes as follows :-

"I've accepted Joshua belanja. Joshua belanja makan whilst I belanja payment, kekeke..."

Guess from who?

K.Trengganu China Town 2010

As per Mamarazzi's earlier post, there seems to be some sort of contest going on at K.T Chinatown this year. Nearly every shops were busy putting up decorations. Let go...here comes some of the nice and not so nice photos.

The big Pintu Gerbang greeting all visitors.

The Chinese Temple in the middle of the Chinatown. This year the temple was also extensively decorated. Next to the temple there was a portable stage. Seems that there will be shows during Chinese New Year.

Everywhere there was red red and more red.

Some decorations are simple.

While some are complicated

Everywhere people are busy decorating. Some with impressive disco lights and sound system.

While some are with ladies "attached" as models.

So many shops and restaurants were decorated extensively. I wonder how the Judges going to choose.

Wah lau eh...ni like the gate to the Forbidden City pulak.

Many people walking around and snapping photos.

Car and more cars coming by the minute. Too bad we didn't go to Chinatown on the day of the competition. Thus, I can't tell you which shop won.

A Parcel?

Ciak! I have just got back from Ah Mah and Kong Kong's home, in good condition except for a few Sandfly bites. But that's another story.

Got miss me or not? Nice or not my CNY baju?

Guess what Mamarazzi found in the Mailbox this morning. Yup, a Chinese New Year Greeting Card and a pretty Colouring Book.

Can you guess by the writing who is it from? Well, guess no more. Here is the link to this lovely Mommy who had sent me such a lovely book. Click here please. Thank you very much, leng Leng Auntie

Lenglui Popiah @ Pasar Malam

How is your CNY celebration getting on? Been getting lotsa Angpau? Been winning a lot? Been eating a lot of titbits?

Lemme tell you, two weeks ago we went to Pasar Malam to "chan yit lau". Then Mamarazzi spotted this Lenglui. Mamarazzi love her popiah very much. The portion was always very generous and taste good. No lap Cheong as in Stadium Popiah nor pork lard as in the one in Malacca. But this lady replace it with Chicken Floss.

Price of a normal white popiah is RM1.70/pc, Salad Popiah RM1.80/pc and Fried popiah is RM1.40/pc.

She open stall on Tuesday at SS3 Pasar malam, Wednesday at SS4c Pasar Malam, Thursday at Chow Yang Pasar Malam(opposite Restaurant Lim Mee Yoke) and Sunday at Taman Megah Pasar Malam

Pop Pop Popcorn!

Last week Mamarazzi bought me something "new".What is this thing that Mamarazzi bought for me from Pasar Malam? Looks fluffy but feel hard geh. New pillow ah?

Eeee...I've got a new Pillow/Bolster.

What you want with my new pillow? It's mine.*put far far away so that Mamarazzi can't reach*. Not pillow ah? Popcorn? Something that can be eaten?

Nope. Won't give you. *Hugging it tightly* I'll open it myself and see.

Finally...a handful of popcorn.Had to ask Mamarazzi's help to get the plastic open in the end.

Alamak! Fall down liao.

Ngap! *geram geram*

eee...sedap la. Sedap hingga naik kaki!
