Joshua The Dismantler

On yesterday's post, Modern Robinson Crusoe, left a comment asking what I wanted to be when I grow up. I have been thinking about that the whole night. I am currently good at dismantling various stuffs. Maybe when I grow up I want get something to do which is related to dismantling.

Yesterday morning, Mamarazzi left me on my high chair for awhile without anything to play. I managed to grab the Astro Controller and started to fiddle with it.

When Mamarazzi came back I give her this "innocent" look. "Look, Mamarazzi. I managed to dismantle the Astro Controller. Now you can wash the dirt that accumulated in the controller liao".

Mamarazzi's question is "To serve Roti Panjang or not to serve roti panjang?"

Mike 2 Seafood Restaurant, Kuala Trengganu(Chinatown)

This is a late post. So late that I fell asleep while waiting for Mamarazzi to write it. Just joking la. Mamarazzi been very busy for the past two weeks that she haven't have time to edit the photos from our last "balik kampung" trip.

Last "year", Mamarazzi posted about Pantai Batu Burok. Some readers commented that they wish to visit that place. Well, if you are worried that you can't find Chinese Food on K.Trengganu, worry no more. Just head to the China Town. A lot of Chinese restaurants there. One of which, my yee Poh recommended is Mike 2 Seafood Restaurant.

That day, I had great time playing with my cousin back there. Play so much till I forgot to take my nap. Only managed to fall asleep in the car while going to the restaurant. Very tired. Mamarazzi just "plonk" me into the baby chair and I continued my sleep.

Well, as usual. Once all the food is on the table, I would "awaken". Mamarazzi said pasal makan I paling pandai. Don't know what she mean by that.

Mamarazzi ordered Lotus Root soup as I love to have rice with soup. Hmm...the soup is not as good as Mamarazzi's soup. This one cooked not long enough though the lotus root is soft.

Fried rice. Not bad. Was very hungry thus gobbled it up till the last grain.

Claypot Taufu. But don't know why it comes in a "wok". Taste acceptable.

Mamarazzi had tried other dishes at this restaurant before from previous trips. The dishes here are nothing spectacular but it's not bad also. Mamarazzi rated it as acceptable to good. Price wise, KL price lor.

Our New Year Feast 2010

Jeng~Jeng~Jeng~ Happy New Year, 2010! May this year brings everyone "Fung Yui Chok Sik".

What a better way to start a new year than having a awesome meal with some good friends. Yummy steamboat.

With additional side dish of Century Eggs.

Lovely Big Prawns contributed by Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick

Fuiyoh! Crabs full of "eggs" punya. Uncle Patrick really pandai select these crabs

Steam Prawns with Egg White and Chinese Cooking Wine. Eat liao can wiwangwang punya.

Jeng~Jeng~Jeng~ 15mins in the steamer, the crabs are ready for consumption.

Masuk all the "liu" into the pot.

All aboard for a hot bath? Here comes the lid.

Wah lau eh! Papa tak sabar liao. While waiting for the Steamboat to be ready, he "attacked" the crabs liao.

Meantime, I also "attack" the jagung la.

One Big Happy Boy with his food.

One Small Happy Kucing with his food.

Come, I feed you, Auntie Florence.

This crab's "khong" is very delicious and juicy.

Busy "practising" eating on my own.

One lick of a finger mana cukup?

I want a whole piece for myself.
Yay!Yay! I ate durian *dancing a jig*

Hmm...this piece as commented by Auntie Florence, looks like the face of a frog. Frog or no frog, masuk my tummy also la .

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Restaurant Ipoh Old Town, Bangsar

Hungry. The other day Kong Kong and Ah Mah was visiting relatives around Bangsar. Thus we went to this Restaurant old Town nearby for a late lunch.

Before eat much "pray" and give thanks first. *Actually I fell asleep lah* Shh...don't tell Mamarazzi.

The food came, I terus wake up. Smell nice. Mamarazzi ordered a regular size bowl of Ipoh Sar Hor Fun(RM6 something) to be share with me. It tasted very good and I was so hungry that I ate almost the whole bowl of Sar Hor Fun. Thus, Mamarazzi had to order small bowl(RM5 something) of the same for herself.

To Mamarazzi eyes, the difference between the "regular size" and the "small size" is literally the size of the bowl. The contains and the portion seems to be the same.

The 2nd bowl was not as good as the first bowl coz the Hor Fun had a "funny"*hahahaha* taste. The noodle taste of water. Maybe the cook forgot to rinse the Hor Fun with hot water before putting it into the hot soup.

Papa had Curry Mee(RM6 something). Mamarazzi sneaked a taste. Very spicy. Taste not bad. Kira as worth it la.

This restaurant is consider good and price wise worth it due to the ambiance. Moreover it's in Bangsar where it's known to be "rich man area". Even the normal hawker food are more expensive than other places.

Happy New Year, 2010!

Happy New Year! May this year bring you everything good.

Am trying to be Super Model here but can't guarantee my smile will be as sweet since the price of sugar and white bread is going up effective today.

Hopefully the share market will also go up too and for those who are still studying, the examination marks will also go up.

Ciak!

Tourist Attractions At Pantai Batu Burok, Kuala Trengganu

In a few hours, it will be a New Year. May this coming New Year brings a lot of Joy and Happiness to everyone. And may you be able to keep you New Year resolution throughout the year.

Ending this year 2009, let me bring you to a place where I had a lot of fun. Have you been to Pantai Batu Burok? If not, let me take you for a quick tour.

It's monsoon season now. Look at those coconut trees. Very windy. Kejap hujan kejap panas. No wonder Kong Kong fall sick.

On second thought, I've better strap on the Seat Belt tighter though the car is not moving. Scared the wind will blow me to the top of the coconut trees.

Nearby, there is a very large playground for children and just beyond the playground is a vast field/garden just like those in Bukit Jalil for people to have their morning/evening exercise.

And also for people to dating..opps...not dating..but jaga anak *wink*

There is an observation tower by the seaside. I dare not climb yet. I plan to climb that someday.

You are not allowed to swim at this beach. Too dangerous. Just look at those big waves. For those who are "degil"and still wanna go for a swim in the sea, don't worry. The Hospital is just a stone throwaway from the seaside, although it won't be much use if one can't find the body.

However, there are many other activities you can do there. You can go for a horse ride. Mamarazzi did not find out the fees.

You can play kites. Very good place to play kites. The kites can fly very high here coz it's pretty windy. I enjoyed doing that very much last round. If you don't have a kite with you, you can always purchase one from numerous stall along the beach.

Well, since we can't swim in the sea, the government had built a large indoor swimming pool right opposite the beach.

And if you are hungry, food are available readily everywhere. Besides the swimming pool there are many hawker stalls selling various kind to food. You don't like hawker food? No worries. Located at the other side of the swimming pool is KFC.

And not so faraway is A&W. Just redecorated. Practically brand new. One of the "Pioneer" fast food in this area.

There are various seafood restaurant along the beach. Previous trips, Mamarazzi have tried two restaurant. Taste ok-ok aje la. A bit pricey.

Well, this beach have enough entertainment for those who are young and for those who are young at heart. But remember oh...no sayang-sayang too much or bikini ya..it's still a very conservative place.
