A Morning at TESCO, Mutiara Damansara

My Mamarazzi is really MAD. Last Saturday she saw advertisement that TESCO is selling Chinese Arrowhead at RM2.48/kg, she dug Papa up "7 early, 8 early" to go to TESCO. When we arrived at Tesco's front door, we saw another Hypermarket's advertisement truck parked there. It state that they are selling Chinese Arrowhead at RM2.38/kg.. hahaha..Very funny to see the competitiveness.

Fuiyoh! Terrible. As the TESCO staff open the boxes of Chinese Arrowhead, everyone rushed at it. Scaryyyyy man....Papa and me run far far away.

All hands are grabbing the BIG FAT JUICY Arrowheads like it's F.O.C. Very lucky TECSO is always very spacious. Mamarazzi preferred TESCO more than any other hypermarkets.

As I was saying, Papa and I ran far far away and WHAM! we ran into my Kaw Por and Theau Kung. Apa lagi, I ask Theau Kung to carry me-lah.

As we were going off, we saw this Banner. Buy above RM8 of NESCAFE, can play game and win something.
Ello, Papa! You want to play ah???
.
Uiks! Kaw Poh also want to play. Mr. NESCAFE, you take my Kaw Poh's photo must pay money one leh. Cannot simply take. She is a V.V.I.P.
.

Wow! It's a maze game. The aim is to get the ball from one end to the other end.

Yawn~ Sleepy..

Got a long more to go ke?

Uh?? Like that also can win RM100 ah???

By the way, Mr Manager of TECSO, I would appreciate it if you could ask your people to check the child seat of each trolley. The one that I was sitting is going to break. Thank you very much.

Chinese Arrowhead Chips

What is Mama doing with all those round thing that she bought? Fruit for me to eat?
.

What?? It's called Chinese Arrowhead? As far as I know, Arrow is a weapon for shooting. But these doesn't look like any Arrow at all.

.

Sliced, soaked in salt water and put under the sun?
.

Why Mama bringing it to the kitchen pulak?
.

Oh..Mama is making keropok. Fry Arrowhead Chips. Got tips from the internet is that after slicing the arrowhead, the slices must be soak in salt water to get all the water out. Then it will be very crispy when it's fried.

.

Hard work man. Fry for two hours, only get two tiny containers. Buy the ready made ones is much easier but then no TLC ler. Good! One for Papa and one for me.**shh...shh..Papa's container got a lot of burnt chips..kekeke* .

These are the heads and tails of the arrowheads. Too small to be sliced without slicing off Mama's fingers. To throwaway sayang pulak...well, waste not want not.

Wah Lah! Becomes another dish for dinner. Too bad no Chinese Leek to add on.

A Good Vadai Stall, SS3

Papa, I am hungry. I am in the mood for a Vadai. Mama told me there is a stall selling good tasty Vadai at SS3 Pasar Malam. And cheap some more.

Here we are! There are 2 or 3 other stalls selling Vadai but this one taste the best. Very easy to find coz it's the stall with the most customers.

Yummy Indian "donut" Vadai. Uiks! But why today they put Cili Padi instead of normal Cili ah???? What to do...cili price never go down eventhough petrol price have gone down.
Apart from Vadai, this stall also sell various indian "kuih" . It's worth to go and have a taste if you are free on Wednesday nights.
